“I'm so glad I finally tried Johnny's Donuts, which is now my new favorite donut shop in Contra Costa County! I went in around 10am on a Thursday with two people ahead of me in line. There was a good selection of donuts with everything I was hoping for, plus a surprise of seeing they had Ube donuts (5/5)! I LOVE Ube so I had to get one.

All the donuts were fresh. I also bought a chocolate glazed (5/5), vegan chocolate sprinkles (5/5), and gave my parter a maple bar, which he enjoyed. The owner was so nice and even gave me three free donut holes with my order.

I needed to make the $10 minimum to use my credit card so I also got a Vietnamese coffee (4/5), which was strong and tasty. I sat at one of their booths to enjoy my coffee and Ube donut, and enjoyed the old school, nostalgic atmosphere. I look forward to coming back to try more of their donuts!“

“I go weekly and they've changed their frosting. King's had the best donuts for the longest time, but a couple of months ago they changed their frosting, and it's a bad change. It's sweeter, and not as flavorful. Tastes less like chocolate and more like sugar. My kids don't care, and the donut batter and cook is still good, but it's a worse donut than it was a year ago.“

“This review is for a DoorDash order. I didn't know I was ordering close to their closing time and so various donuts I ordered were out. They called me to offer alternative options. “This has been a must stop for coffee and donuts for the past couple weeks. They have multiple choices for addative for coffee, including creamers and raw sugar. It is awesome they have mini versions of apple fritters and cinnamon buns. I love apple fritters, but it is hard to finish big ones. With I split them between meals or days. They also have some lunch choices and other beverages. Oh yeah, they are cash only. But don't worry, they have an ATM if you need it.“

“The Dainty Donut Factory was at our Outdoor Summer Series this past weekend and the donuts were fantastic! There was a line to buy donuts before they were open. The community loved them and we appreciate that they were here for us! I would absolutely recommend them and will ask them to return in the future!“

The donut shop is located in the back and invisible from the street, if it wasn't for Google Maps I don't think I'd seen it.
Let's get down to the important part the donuts. I got a plan glaze and a chocolate custard filled donut.
Glaze donut was very soft and not sticky. I loved how large it was with great taste that wasn't a massive sugar rush
The chocolate custard filled donut was also fluffy and perfectly frosted I have to say the donut felt very generously filled, to the point that I was surprised.
The place has a very quiet feel to it. It's in an older building so it has that colder feel to it that established donut shops tend to have.

“Best donut shop around! We love Christy’s Donuts. They are always nice and have the best donuts. We tried another shop one time when they were closed and it Christy’s is hands down better. My family and I go here every weekend. Cash only but they have an ATM machine if you need it.

“They have the best chocolate frosted old fashioned donuts in the area. I'm very picky about my donuts, and these surpass the mark for my enjoyment. A lot of people rave about the other items they serve. I tried the bagelwich and was unimpressed with the bagel, especially for the price, it was like thin bread and I thought I probably should have gone with a croissant like the cashier suggested. “Today Friday came to this place and the employee Hispanic lady was so rude . She has a very bad attitude with customer service.
