“Decided to go to the lunch buffet on a Sunday afternoon, and I'm glad that we did because the service was exceptional and the food was delicious. The vibe is relaxing, welcoming, and clean. They have plenty of natural light due to the many windows facing the parking lot. We walked in and the host greeted us immediately. He was friendly and asked us if we would like buffet or to order from the menu. We chose the buffet, well and the menu... My husband ordered saag chicken and garlic naan off of the menu, we were not disappointed. The food was very fresh and well seasoned. My favorites were the Eggplant Masala and the Tandoori Vegetables. The eggplant was very flavorful and it went really well with the garlic naan. The tandoori vegetables were cooked perfectly, still a slight crunch to them, very tasty. I couldn't decide between a mango lassi and a chai, so I got both... no regrets! So satisfying. They have a full bar and much to my husbands delight, they have 805 on tap. Our waiter returned to check on us and fill our water multiple times during lunch. I could see stopping here on the way home from the office to grab dinner and have a drink while the traffic dies down.“

“If you're looking for good, authentic, Desi food in Walnut Creek, look no further than Methi! We tried their Chicken Tikka Masala (extra spicy), Veg Samosas, Onion Bhaji, and their Mango Pickle, along with Garlic Naan. Everything was spot on!

If you're vegetarian, they also have plenty of vegetarian options so definitely give it a try. I'm not sure if I spoke to the owner over the phone but the gentleman who picked up was super helpful and friendly!

10/10 would recommend if you're in the area and craving Desi food!“

“The best Momos and butter chicken and many other things you will eat in Berkeley. Have been living here since 4 years and I make it a point to walk down to the Resturant from the hills at least twice a week for their delicious food. The food tastes like what we eat at home, spices are a perfect blend, and the produce always taste fresh. Khendu & Gopal, the hard working couple behind the Resturant are super friendly and very kind.
It’s very close to University so you all see a lotta kids come for a hot meal & the love the couple have these kids is so beautiful.
I highly recommend Momo Masala. Our favorite place in Berkeley !“

Service was good, although they seemed a bit overwhelmed when we were there as the restaurant was very full. Fish curry was nice. The uttampam was pretty good too. Would go there again. The store offers an impressive range of food options, including delicious home-style North Indian dishes that remind me of authentic flavors. This has been a lifesaver, especially during our kitchen renovation when cooking at home was a challenge.

Previously, we had to travel to Fremont for small items, but now we can find everything we need right here in our own town! “November 13th, around 4:50 PM aimlessly walking around decovering new places to see and dine in when I stumbled upon ANARKALI ( Pakistani/Halal/Indian ) The lady who took my order made me feel like I was the only one there (even though I was for a while) She made sure I toured the restaurant/store with a light and easy futter. My order took longer than expected by her, but honestly, I watched her put my meal together, and it was not rushed... She repeatedly apologized, but honestly, I loved the dedication to the craft. Another customer came in as well as a delivery order, but she gave all of us special attention. I loved how I felt in the atmosphere as well as wonderful. “Absolutely delicious South Indian menu. Sambar was so flavorful, idlis were soft fluffy and rava kesari tasted great too. Portion sizes are large and filling. Filter coffee was so good! “A casual kinda place to go and eat. The food here however is delicious. The chow mein is so tasty!!! Loved the Momo’s too. I’m a big chicken tikka masala person and their’s did not disappoint!
My husband had lamb vindaloo which he really enjoyed also:) The garlic nan bread is one of the best I have had .
Portion sizes were good and we left feeling full and with plenty of leftovers.
This is probably my new go to place for Indian/Nepalese food.“

“Halal!! Not sure what to make of this place; food was good; we had the Papadi chaat: not bad; the papas was a bit hard; and there Saturday special: Chicken 65 Calupa: very tasty; the chalup is like a thick puri and the small mango cubes were a good touch

Atmosphere: very small tables and not enough for even 3 people; they also done do a good job of cleaning after someone leaves; it’s up to you to do it;
