“This place has really good authentic tacos. The Asada was cooked perfectly. The lady gave us chips with frijoles and salsa while she cooked for us. It's a tiny little shop that has a few benches to sit at. The price was really good. If I lived nearby I'd come here all the time. Don't sleep on this place.“

“El Carmen has a nice ambience with plenty of cool decor to look at as you wine and dine. They offer a wide selection of drinks and specialize in Mexican cuisine. Funny enough, my date was the only Mexican looking person there, despite the restaurant being full. It’s more of a bar than a restaurant and I’m not mad about that. I will say that the waiters gave me a bit of an attitude which I did not like, but they were good with water refills and checking in. The seats were not comfortable, but it wasn’t a deal breaker for me. They had cool music, but it wasn’t even Hispanic haha. Overall, I had a good experience and recommend El Carmen.“

“I buy their tamales at the Tuesday farmers market at CSUF. I find it insane that they have to drive an hour to get there... but I'm thankful because the tamales are super delicious. 6 Dollars per tamale, and they're a good size that can fill you up with only 1-2. The beef tamale is my favorite. It's a bit spicy, but the flavor is so good along with the outside. The outside bread (?) is my favorite part, somehow. It's very soft and somewhat moist.

I like to share some with my cousin after class. Even after sitting around for the whole day, it is so good and soft after a minute or two of mircowaving.

I've bought from their stall multiple times. It is very addicting! They also offer you salsa if you prefer that with your tamales.“

“Was in west hollywood when my hunger kicked in. There's a few burger places and coffee shops but I decided on Los Tacos. Yummy and satisfying. The place is cozy and can use a modern revamp but keep the heritage. I ordered the 2 taco carnitas combination plate and a aqua fresca. My order came up quick and it was freash and hot. My tacos were delicious and the beans and rice were perfect. The cook was way more friendly and inviting then the cashier, but i get it, customer service can be draining. The cook reminded me to try the free condiments of fresh Pico de Gallo and other condiments available at the counter, and im glad I did. If you're ever in the west hollywood area and looking for authentic Mexican American food, with a corner dinner vibe. Then head over to Los Tacos! Friendly, welcoming and great food.“

“Yesterday, I visited Guisados in West Hollywood. Food is always delicious and today, I am not reviewing their delicious food, but their honest employees. During my long stayed and visit eating their tacos I forgot my phone, and continued with my partying. Arriving home I realized I had lost it. Honestly, I thought that someone stole it from my packet, you know weho is known for that, but when I searched my iPhone with my other devises, it showed it was at Guisados. I called them and they confirmed having my phone. Guisados honest employees made my night brighter. Hope the owner pays them well and appreciate them. We need more honest people like them. “Every taco I try here is my new favorite I tried the birria first and loved it, but was told how amazing the shrimp one was, went back and and tried it and was blown away by the flavor. Just recently went back and tried the chicken taco and it is now my new favorite.

“Im picky about Mexican restaurants, and this one is an excellent place. I typically don’t love chilaquiles outside of my mothers kitchen, but these definitely met my expectations with their home made sauce and home fried tortillas for the dish. you get treated like home.
