Now that I am old enough to get my own donuts I still go here because the donuts taste the same and havent changed through the years. Super delicious! Do not get 711 donuts when this place is right next door!“

“I’ve lived in the area for years and finally tried this place—what a little treasure in our community! I needed to pick up 5 dozen donuts for my team at work, and since I was heading in early, I placed the order a couple of days ahead. They took down all the details, including a small special request, with no problem. When I arrived at 5am for pickup, everything was ready and absolutely perfect! From the friendly service to the delicious donuts, the whole experience was fantastic. I’ll definitely be back!“

“Honey Donuts is one of my favorite spots in San Diego. They may not serve the flashy, Instagram-worthy donuts you see at big-brand shops, but the quality here is consistently outstanding. Every donut is fresh, perfectly fluffy on the inside, and made with just the right touch and ingredients and you can’t go wrong.

I’ve even seen them making fresh batches as late as 10 p.m., which speaks volumes about their dedication. The woman at the front is incredibly kind, warm, and hardworking; always greeting you with a smile. You can tell this is a family-run shop built on pride and heart.

We obviously go for donuts and recently tried their bagel sandwiches which we were really good and a great price. Portion was perfect and the bagel it self is good. “Christy's donuts in El Cajon has the best donuts. They don't have a shiny new store like that other place in Santee, but they have better tasting donuts the owner and his family run the shop and they are so very nice.

Instead of cakes, we've started treating ourselves to Christy's donuts.

“I came here a few months ago to get donuts because my usual place was all out. I saw that they made breakfast sandwiches and thought I'd give that a try too. Turns out those sandwiches are amazing. Make sure Lin is the one behind the counter though. I've been back several times for the sandwich and there's another lady that works sometimes who makes them completely different and not as well.Lin takes what I assume is a croissant they make there, toasts it up and makes you two fresh eggs to put on top of it. You can get cheese, ham, bacon etc as well. I usually opt for the number four which is ham, bacon and cheese. It's amazing. Highly recommend this place. The donuts, donut holes and other creations are amazing as well. Stop by soon!“

“Surprised to see a lot of bad reviews. The guy was very friendly and it wasn't busy when we went. Yes it's a bit pricier than regular donuts but it's so hard to make them (and connect each dough balls to make them look like Mochi Nut donuts) I think it's worth the price for a special occasion.“

We received a wide variety of donuts and donut holes, and each was fresh, soft, crispy on the outside and perfectly doughy within… a knockout hit for EVERY FLAVOR!!!Apple fritter was my favorite… wish I’d gotten more than two! We just moved in nearby and I don’t think I’ll ever go anywhere else for donuts again!“
