“**Food is delicious, n lady's super-nice, BUT... Recently (Last couple months.), I've noticed stuff has been SUPER-SATURATED with OIL! Flavor is great, but they need to sort that out, as it's'a turn-off, and has me reconsiderin continued patronage.

“Best donuts ever! Traditional donuts the way I had them as a child. Which was decades ago. Hard to find them this way anymore. I love the chocolate bar with the chocolate chips in the middle. No one makes this one and I have been to A LOT of donut shops.“

“The only reason I scored three stars for the atmosphere at Honey Donuts is due to the geographical location. Otherwise, Honey Donuts has the absolute best product in East County. Day or night they have the freshest donuts. I often have been there at 10 pm or later and the service is as great as it is during the day. The staff is friendly, helpful, and very welcoming whenever I stop in. I would recommend Honey Donuts to anyone inquiring about the place.“

“I’ve lived in the area for years and finally tried this place—what a little treasure in our community! I needed to pick up 5 dozen donuts for my team at work, and since I was heading in early, I placed the order a couple of days ahead. They took down all the details, including a small special request, with no problem. When I arrived at 5am for pickup, everything was ready and absolutely perfect! From the friendly service to the delicious donuts, the whole experience was fantastic. I’ll definitely be back!“

“Our favorite location with friendly staff, very clean and always has most if not everything in stock regardless of the time you good. We obviously go for donuts and recently tried their bagel sandwiches which we were really good and a great price. Portion was perfect and the bagel it self is good. I rather go to this Yum Yum vs. Other donut shops.“

“Roses donuts? Solid. Fluffy, not too greasy, and just the right amount of sweetness. The classics like glazed and chocolate frosted are spot-on, but the real gems are the seasonal specials—think lemon blueberry in spring or apple cider in fall. They also do a killer maple bacon donut that somehow works every time.
Aside from donuts, they’ve got a few dessert surprises up their sleeve—cream-filled eclairs, soft-baked cookies, and a rotating lineup of mini cakes that go way harder than they need to. Pair anything with their locally roasted coffee or a rich hot chocolate, and you’re golden.“

“Came here in the evening and grabbed some apple fritters. Solid size that was larger than an average hand for $3. It still tasted fresh. I can see what other reviews meant by it might be from the morning, and that's totally a'ok in my book.“

“Christy's donuts in El Cajon has the best donuts. They don't have a shiny new store like that other place in Santee, but they have better tasting donuts the owner and his family run the shop and they are so very nice.
Instead of cakes, we've started treating ourselves to Christy's donuts.

“I came here a few months ago to get donuts because my usual place was all out. I saw that they made breakfast sandwiches and thought I'd give that a try too. Turns out those sandwiches are amazing. Make sure Lin is the one behind the counter though. I've been back several times for the sandwich and there's another lady that works sometimes who makes them completely different and not as well.Lin takes what I assume is a croissant they make there, toasts it up and makes you two fresh eggs to put on top of it. You can get cheese, ham, bacon etc as well. I usually opt for the number four which is ham, bacon and cheese. It's amazing. Highly recommend this place. The donuts, donut holes and other creations are amazing as well. Stop by soon!“

“Surprised to see a lot of bad reviews. The guy was very friendly and it wasn't busy when we went. Yes it's a bit pricier than regular donuts but it's so hard to make them (and connect each dough balls to make them look like Mochi Nut donuts) I think it's worth the price for a special occasion.“

“I just got a “dozen” (14) delivered to my doorstep nearby and I RAN here to write this review. We received a wide variety of donuts and donut holes, and each was fresh, soft, crispy on the outside and perfectly doughy within… a knockout hit for EVERY FLAVOR!!!Apple fritter was my favorite… wish I’d gotten more than two! We just moved in nearby and I don’t think I’ll ever go anywhere else for donuts again!“
