“This is a restaurant I've been to numerous times and each time the space takes you somewhere special, a culinary journey really. Very upscale restaurant and environment. A perfect experience. The staff were all so awesome, fun group, and very professional as well. The food was incredible. The service is impeccable, presenting each dish to highlights it's freshness and meticulous construction. Highly recommend!“
“Hands down THE best croissant in San Francisco. But they have so much more than that. Pates, quiches, desserts - and they all look so Parisian. Walking in is an exercise in self control. But the good news is, if you do cave in, it’s worth it!“
“This is one of my favorites in the Marina. Constantly very high quality food. I almost don’t want to review it because I don’t want it to get too crowded. They are very close to getting a Michelin star! Omg get the pavlova for desert. Their fish is amazing too.“
“Very friendly service and good ambiance. Really liked Laurent, the host. Our food came promptly and was very good. I especially liked the crispy brussels sprouts and the apple tart dessert. The pork was tasty but a bit fatty. The salmon was very good.“
“Second time since 2021. While price has increased it still offers one of the best value in the area for tasting menu. Most of the courses are on point and creative. my favorite is the jidoji egg. The tortellini is a bit bland, but still good. I like that the atmosphere is intimate and unassuming.“
“Crenn provides a experience where food becomes art, and dining with friends becomes magic. The food is exquisite, the service very well trained, and the presentation reminds me of what Achatz is doing with Alinea. One of the times we went there, there was a dish I will always remember -- A Walk through the Forest. It paired mushrooms with sweet meringue on a wooden plank covered with pine needles. I never imagined mushrooms and meringue would pair well, but this was an amazing taste sensation in a form that truly evoked my childhood memories of exploring the woods adjacent to my home.Food that can transport you back in time is truly a wondrous gift.“
“First time as we had our Christmas day prix fix dinner, which was a great value. We enjoyed not only the food, had very attentive service from check in to our waiter Justin, who was terrific. Will definitely go back so I can try the Beef Wellington!“
“Came here for a friends birthday and really enjoyed the experience! The waiter was extremely friendly and fun and the live jazz music was also a plus. Everyone loved the wine selection (wine flight being the most popular) and the food was also delicious. The highlight of the menu was definitely the pistachio goat cheese with caramelized onions and honey!“
“Amazing experience and fantastic attention to detail from the staff.Gregory helped me make selections for all courses and found the perfect wine to accompany my meal.Highly recommend adding the bread plate. It seems simple, but it had the perfect contrast of soft pillowy insides with toasted crisp crust. The butter used was so creamy and complimented it perfectly. The Adventurous appetizer was a fun and quite different opener to the meal. It definitely could have served 2-3 people so I was quite stuffed by the time I got to the end. I enjoyed the opportunity to guess what I was eating. It was so good and I was definitely surprised by what it was! While I’m not usually a fan of French onion soup, theirs was incredible. The cheese was complimentary instead of overwhelming and bread retained its crispiness throughout.I had the Cornish hen with potatoes and mushrooms as a main, and I was impressed with the variety and pairing of the mushrooms to the dish. They were hearty but not overwhelming. Including 5+ types of mushrooms gave a delightful contrast to the rest of the dish. The Chantilly cake had perfectly crispy edges and was the right weight for the end of such a rich meal.“
“Fun, great food, European type of service, and a really fun atmosphere. Love the French Onion soup on a cold night. Only complaint, their baguette is quite expensive, though absolutely delicious and served with really great butter. Wine is priced in line with most restaurants in Marin, so not ordering a lot of wine during our visits.Would highly recommend Amélie.“
“We went on Valentine's Day but we went very early, 4:30 pm. We loved the French onion soup, the Moules et Frites and the Cafe Bastille salad. Good wine selection, full bar. The service was excellent partly because we were early but they had plenty of servers waiting for the crowd that was booked to arrive.“
“This was a truly wonderful and exceptional experience. My husband and I could not have asked for a better birthday celebration. The staff was so warm and welcoming and attentive and the food and wine was, of course, incredible. It was a one-of-a-kind evening that we’ll cherish.“
“For me. Solid 4.5. Went back with my family. Really enjoyed the food. My son enjoyed the burrata appetizer. I enjoyed my salad. I really enjoyed the gnocchi. My son had the orecchiette and enjoyed it. My wife and daughter had the fired chicken and both like it. Quaint little place. Try it.“
“Reviews are consistent with the experience. The food was so good, every single dish was inventive, hearty, and non-pretentious. Good mix of flavors and food and I can tell they out a lot of thought into inventive recipes. I saw one bad review on this place and I must say that is not accurate at all. Staff was super friendly, checking on us constantly, food and wine were perfect. Very unexpected pleasant experience as it's not pretentious yet the food was amazing. Good job!“
“This is my neighborhood bakery it's the BEST and I basically go every morning. My go to is the Pain Suisse, delicious ? my daughter's favorite is the chocolate croissant, and my son's all about the morning bun. The staff is so friendly anf welcoming you must visit.“
“What a pleasure to be able to take a tasty break in this place! There we met two extremely kind and attentive employees with whom I was able to talk about their country and who showed very delicate attention to us! in addition to very good quality products, we were able to appreciate an extraordinary sense of hospitality! Well done ! We will come back with great pleasure!Kid-friendliness: yes obviously with excellent products“
“Hands-down best burger in Marin. Cooked to perfection to your preference, Golden brown fries every time served with their staple House soup to dip them fries in... Come on man! Right when you walk in this place you feel like you're back in the prime time. Less than five minutes off the 101, some say it's off the beaten path, but this place is right in my backyard and it truly makes you feel right at home. Cordon Bleu, lamb chops, I just don't know what kind of night it's going to be... the burger it is!“
“Just had dinner there with my lover last week or so. The staff including the owner are a riot once you get past the phony Gruff exterior who's the name is Stefan. I don't know if I've got the spelling right, so if you're reading this, S, get over it! Seriously: thanks for letting us in, I mean, genuinely welcomed in. Will be back again soon!“
“This garage in Sausalito is an incredible place, the whole team and Bruno the boss will take you on a journey to the best neighborhood bar in France. Just passing through for an evening I enjoyed a unique moment around the pleasure of eating and drinking France in the broad sense. Thank you for keeping this kind of place alive which clearly deserves to take a break!“
“Heaven for this vegetarian! Veggies on their tartine gourmand is heaven and $10 and I didn't finish it all. The bread was firm enough to finish it for an afternoon snack. My partner loved the breakfast Sammy and the fresh fruit that came with it is a great deal!Vegetarian options: Even for delivery you can name special requests which is rare so no problem to take the goat cheese off the tartine and make it vegan.Dietary restrictions: They take special request and offer simple but delicious options with fresh delicious grilled veggies and hearty tasty soft bread“
“Such a great experience! Bar Crenn feels like a speakeasy when you walk in - the decor, bar setup and retro record player make it seem like an oasis. Onto the food: my favorite dish was their Bafun Uni dish which is a congee topped with Hokkaido uni. It's not often that Uni is served on a hot dish and the blend of flavors/cuisines Chef Crenn executes in this dish are super intriguing. I also got their oysters served 3 ways and the XO Scallops. The staff here is excellent. Carlos and Chris were really welcoming. Chris even showed me around Atelier Crenn next door. I'll definitely have to come back for their tasting. Thank again!“
“Excellent food and service, by the end of the meal we felt like valued long time patrons rather than just another table to serve. The mussel appetizer was outstanding and the Chilean Sea Bass was unique and delicious. Save room for Crème Brûlée.“
“TBH, I wasn't there to eat. I was walking my 13yo brindle pitbull to the Vet across the street. Born and raised in the city, but not from this side of town. My pittie and I not always welcome wherever we go. She was a runaway pittie who is usually met with fear, but knows when someone wants to be a friend. You stopped everything to give her love and a snack. We couldn't be more grateful. I just want you to know that you made our/her day and set us up for a good start for the first day of the Lunar New Year. I hope you know who you are. Thank you so much. May this year bring you much luck and prosperity.“
“The food us just fantastic! Service, well, the waitress jostled huge plates on tiny tiny high table without once offering us a larger table. Was so bad that we had to put some plates on the stools. There were plenty of larger tables, it was mid afternoon so great atmosphere but half empty. Don't let our experience put you off as the food is exceptional.“
“Everything was wonderful; the service, wine list and lunch specials were great choices. we opted for the salmon and spinach risotto which was outstanding. And of course, had a side of fries! Finally, the desert a chocolate flourless torte with amazing sauce. had not been here before but will definitely be back. Thanks for a great lunch!“
“We visited this place for a brunch with friends. When we arrived around 11:30, it was pretty empty, but it got busy later on. We enjoyed the food – everything was great; my favorite was onion soup and beef bourguignon. Our waiter was wonderful and fun.“
“For the Latin community: This place is 10 out of 10, super delicious, the price is right, the staff is Latin, friendly and speaks Spanish, their crepes are delicious, I ordered one with banana and strawberries with dulce de leche, I ordered another with ham and egg and cheddar cheese, and the third was strawberry, banana, nutella and walnut 100% percent recommended!! You arrive, order and pay then they call you when your order is ready, you pick it up and that's it, enjoy!!“
“Went for a birthday diner and cassoulet. Had a really great waitress, salads, Mussels, Halibut, but unfortunately the cassoulet was mediocre and lacked that rich congealed flavor. Hardly any duck confit and sausages were tough. Left half of it and was surprised by the bland flavor. Next time would try the beef bourguignon instead. The Creme Brûlée helped make up for it though. Delicious as was the strawberry rhubarb crisp.“
