“Here before one of the concerts great food sat at the bar first waited for our table The bartender was amazing nice full of information she was on it too and then we got our table and got and it smelled good and looked amazing and we didn't wait very long for any of it and the staff was very friendly and it was a very super clean and the ambience was absolutely romantic and amazing.Parking: Pretended the Rivers edge grill & bar there's always been very optional parking yet even though I do get handicapped they're still is optional parking other than handicap.Wheelchair accessibility: It's very interesting that when I went and I couldn't make it around they offer wheelchairs so that's pretty amazing cuz not everywhere does that.“

“Absolutely love this place! It's small but you can tell the animals are loved and cared for immensely! The animals are also rescued and would not be able to be released into the wild. It's a great experience and the redwood sky walk is very fun!! especially with the new bear cubs you can see into their enclosure and watch them climb the trees! The bird walkthrough was put together beautifully and was an incredible experience 100% recommend!“

“First of all we got there 5 minutes before they closed and they still let me and my husband and 2 of our kids stay. I had the burger and homemade onion rings they were so good. One of the best burgers I've had in a while and, my husband had linguica with eggs, potatoes and gluten free toast, he really enjoyed his too. My boys had French toast breakfast and my 8 year old son had chicken sandwich with veggie soup, he loved his sandwich, he said I give them 5 stars! Friendly staff, clean restaurant, cloth napkins, breakfast served all day! Would definitely come back when in the area!“

“First time stopping to grab a bite after all my trips to Fortuna. We were in town to upgrade a system with CAL FIRE. Plenty of items to choose from their menu. I couldn't decide between breakfast or lunch. I decided on a burger with fries (potato wedges). Very tasty and the fries were nicely seasoned and crispy. One of my coworkers had the 2 egg breakfast with potatoes, toast and linguica. It looked good from where I sat. The other had the BLT which he said was "okay". Definitely worth a visit.“

“We have found a new favorite place to eat .Fortuna is sitting on a Goldmine of eats here. The menu is large ,so many choices .Nicole our waitress was just such a delight . So informative , she had great suggestions . She took very good care of us at the table ! Thanks Nicole we will be back to see you too !Double D’s is a small quaint little gem so be sure to make a reservation for dinner to secure your spot . Dinner fills up . Only 17 tables.You will not be hungry when you leave Double Ds , you may need a wheelbarrow to haul you out though !We had antipasto plate, raviolis , salad and soup .Table bread is fresh and warm , all before you get your meal . I had the rib eye and it was one of the best I have had . Very good beef cooked to perfection (MR) . So tasty .This Bloody Mary was a challenge accepted for me . It is a meal in itself with a tasty drink too ! We shared the slider , potato wedges, ribs, wings, chicken tenders as out appetizer for our table . All so very yummy . “Update: We returned to Pepper's again tonight. Joe and his Fortuna Pepper's Team were exceptional. True world class. As always, the food was perfect (Southern Dinner and Baked Lasagna) with chocolate cake for desert! I am here in Fortuna for a few weeks taking care of my father in-law who lost his wife to cancer last week. What really stands out at Pepper's for me is there attention to customer service. The team is uplifting and very customer focused. I will be a Pepper's customer for life. Sincerely - MarkUpdate: Joe, the owner of Pepper's called me immediately after my post. I greatly appreciated his effort to reach out to me directly from a customer service perspective. His focus was understanding the customer experience I had and what he could do to course correct the issue. Joe was receptive and a very good listener to my experience. He certainly made every effort to make it right. Based on his call I will return to Pepper's during my stay in Fortuna.Original Post: I am visiting Fortuna for a couple weeks. Tonight I placed by 5th order with Peppers for a "to go dinner". Of those, 3 of the orders were not what I ordered. When I finally called to complain, the receptionist said they would try to do better and hung up. Really! I expected a little better customer service, but they were not very concerned. Very disappointing. Recommend you make sure you check your to go order for accuracy. Mark“

“Everything was great, except the poached eggs… they were so hard, there was nothing runny about them… total bummer because the spinach, muffin, tomatoes, and hollandaise were all really yummy on the California Benedict. So were the potatoes and the mimosas, love that they use fresh nectar/juice in the mimosa… it sucks that the egg is the star of the show and that was what was messed up ?‍♂️… I’ll give them another try next time we’re in town, for sure.“

“Just adding to be raves about the pancakes. Friendly staff, we enjoyed all of the food, but the pancakes were outstanding. There was a bit of a wait but it was Easter and I understand shortened hours, and they advised us of this when we arrived. Worth it!“

“We came in from out of town with a party of 13 with 3 small kids. They place us right away out back under one of the tents in the beer garden. We had the heater going, apps came out right away, great beers and space for the kids to hang out. Service was 10 stars, she talked to the kids, refilled all our drinks, took add ons with a smile. We bought sweatshirts and she brought them out for us to try on.Amazing evening.“
