“At first didn't think much about the place due to the store front and name bbq chicken, figure it was just a regular chicken spot but I was in a mood for wings. While viewing the menu I was intrigued by the flavors offered. Once entering location it's was refreshing to smell and see the cleanliness and aroma of something that immediately caught my attention which had me anticipating greatness.. and thats not all, the service was to the Capital T. The gentleman at the register answer all my questions with plenty of recommendations based on my taste. I was more then pleased and I didn't even order yet. Once I ordered I couldn't wait for my honey garlic wings with a side of pickled radishes. After my order was completed I was handed a buzzer to inform me when my order was ready. Now I waited in the car not sure if there was seating in the back cause I didn't ask nor venture I just wanted to head to the car and express my opinion to my spouse.. no more than 10 -15 mins later give or take food was ready. Now let me tell you i very impressed by the smell. Plus the container was perfect fully closed with air pockets so the 🐔 could breath. Now this always makes a difference no matter how the food smell. Maintaining that crispyness I look for.. now let me get to this chicken. Boy/ Girl let me tell you, chicken sooooo good make you wanna slap your momma. Flavor 10, texture 10, plus the service 10, this a perfect game for me. Triple doubles. me and wifey was licking each other finger fighting for the last drip. Been a while since I had something this good in Cali. And I'm a new York wing head.. with this said I'll be back so I hope to see all y'all in there tomorrow, cause I'm definitely coming back, so lock me in for a lifetime membership. “Stopped in for dinner and got the drunken noodle, papaya salad, and khao soi. All were delicious. Thai spicy level wasn't too bad, but I might have gotten the american thai spicy version. Everything was delicious a d service was great.”

“Must visit this place. I had half and half fried and marinated chicken with Tteokbokki, pasta and fried dumplings etc. I was not able to find a good korean fried chicken place for a long time and this place is the best. Also try the pasta and spicy rice cake as my teenage girls loved them. Must visit again soon to try the other menus as well such as the Army soup as that is also one of my favorite korean dishes. The owner is really nice as well!”

“A small hidden gem!!! We were there just last Friday. The service (as always) was wonderful, the food scrumptious and though last Friday we were sat immediately (we just happened to beat the crowd). We have had to wait a few times; and I assure everyone it is worth the wait!”

Lots of flavors, and they also have other grindz I can’t wait to try! They’ll give you free samples of their different poke flavors if you ask nicely, and they have salmon, tuna, and crab variations. I had the seaweed limu tuna and the spicy garlic tuna - incredible.”

“My wife and I are retired and we both love going out for breakfast. We have been looking for a special breakfast location in the south bay for some time and tried Mr. G's . It is BY FAR our favorite location - it is a fun, family owned cafe with an extensive menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We often share one of the weekday breakfast specials of 2 eggs, 2 sausage links, and 2 french toasts for $8.99. You can't beat the food, the price and the friendly staff. We are now Mr. G's regulars .”

“Cara Mia catered my mother-in-law's memorial service beautifully and on quite short notice. The owner was so incredibly kind and helped us pick out the right things to feed 30+ people, was super responsive via email, and even met us in person when we picked up our order to offer her heartfelt condolences. They went above and beyond to help make this difficult day easier and we were blown away not only by their compassion, but the quality of their baked goods! The memorial guests devoured everything and many of them remarked to us how great the food was :) I can't recommend Cara Mia enough and hope to visit again under happier circumstances. Thank you!!!!”

“I have to say…I couldn’t eat the Stinky Tofu. The owner warned me when I ordered it…I’m a pretty flexible (vegan) eater, but I just couldn’t. It smells and tastes horrible. Vegavegano must be used to foods like this! That being said, the onion pancakes and the garlic string beans were fantastic!”

“I have been enjoying meals at Okane Umi since 2016. They have always been excellent in every category of service. The restaurant has had its share of ups and downs but I am happy with how strongly Okane Umi has powered up its menu and added some wonderfully flavorful genuine Japanese dishes. Im pleased they have reinforced their sushi, sashimi, chirashi offerings - I love this restaurant.”

“A great little BBQ joint in Lomita!! Is has a nice 'hole in the wall' feel, but in a good way.
The BBQ has a great taste and is very tender.
You have extra BBQ sauce at the table, free old school video games and the walls are covered with pics of Harry with a huge variety of celebrities that will put a smile on anyone's face that's in the over 50 crowd.
The dining area is cozy, clean and well lit by the store front windows.
You get a free serving of waffle-cut fries when you dine in... an extra treat! My pulled pork sandwich was tender and a generous portion. I had mac and cheese and fried okra as my sides... both were very tasty!
The staff are friendly, courteous and attentive, which adds to the charm and warmth of the place.
Highly recommend Harry's if you have a BBQ craving.”

“Pizza Kraft is hands down serving the best pizza in the South Bay! The crust, the toppings—everything was just perfect. Paired with an icy cold beer from the bar, it hit the spot in the best way. We also tried the wings, and they were incredible—crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right. We'll definitely be back for more. A must-try if you're in the area!”

“Qbole is my go to spot for Mexican seafood. Everything I’ve tried there has been so fresh and delish. The shrimp tacos gobernador had so much flavor. The shrimp, cheese, and crispy tortillas blend together so well. The burritas are all great. I would recommend the shrimp and marlin burrita.

They use really high quality ingredients and you can taste the difference. For example, I ordered a simple bean and cheese burrito because the ingredients are so fresh and I wanted to have something simple but delicious.

I’ve tried several of the ceviches, botanas, and aguachiles, and they were all superb. The fish is always very fresh and you get a lot of it for a very reasonable price.

I would say Qbole has some of the best Mexican seafood in Los Angeles. I really don’t get ceviche anywhere else anymore.”

“What a great experience at the Steak Library! My wife and I celebrated our anniversary, and they had rose petals on the table and a fun dessert. The food was excellent, the ambiance was intimate, the service was great. Try the wagyu cotton candy skewers (trust me, mind blowing). We wanted the Kansas City aged bone in strip, but they didn't have it, so we went with the regular NY strip, and it was cooked to perfection. It is not cheap, but it is worth it.”

“Good ramen with several options that are not found in many places. Good taste and prices, friendly servers, sometimes parking can be limited, opened until late on Fridays. Reminds me of some of the ramen shops when I was living in Japan. A must try if you’re in LA South Bay area.”

“Dive bar. I like that. 2 pool tables. Both are pretty damn good. Locals are a bit on the “I’m so tough” side. But not so bad to keep you away. Occasionally there are good shooters there. Good bartenders… and again, 2 good pool tables. I’m in!

I heard a lot of great things about this place and it didn’t disappoint. I got the Pad Thai (amazing) with shrimp, Pad See Ew ? with Chicken and a Thai Iced Tea. ?very happy, next time you’re passing down PCH stop on in, they won’t disappoint :)

What makes this place special is not the food, but the personable experience. It's family owned and had a great conversation with Butz. This place is happening during evenings with music and dance.”

Dietary restrictions: If you are GF, DO NOT EAT THE FRIES!! I can eat the sausage mc muffin with egg, no bread, and you can also order the quarter pounder patty with cheese and pickles and catchup for under $2. With Celiac, I have never had a reaction to these items- but, everyone is different. If you're in a pinches, these would be your best bet and not bad on your wallet.”

“My first time here because I just so happened to be in the area. I had the brisket & tendon phó. It was delicious. It had so much tendon and I loved it. Great flavor and freshness. I read some of the reviews that were negative. My experience was nothing but positive. I like to eat at mom and pop restaurants. The service was polite and attentive. Give this establishment a try. I think you’ll find it a tasty and positive experience.”

“Every Carl's Jr. seems to have an individual policy regarding how it cools its zucchini. Always ask if the zucchini is cooked with the fries, or with the meat. They all seem to keep the fryer for fries separate, which means vegetarians can enjoy Carl's Jr. fries, but not always their fried zucchini. I always order their zucchini burger now that they've discontinued the Beyond burger. This particular restaurant was clean and fast. I only wish they unified the policy of zucchini cooking so I could eat at any franchise I visit.”
