“Dive bar. I like that. 2 pool tables. Both are pretty damn good. Locals are a bit on the “I’m so tough” side. But not so bad to keep you away. Occasionally there are good shooters there. Good bartenders… and again, 2 good pool tables. I’m in!

“What a great experience at the Steak Library! My wife and I celebrated our anniversary, and they had rose petals on the table and a fun dessert. The food was excellent, the ambiance was intimate, the service was great. Try the wagyu cotton candy skewers (trust me, mind blowing). We wanted the Kansas City aged bone in strip, but they didn't have it, so we went with the regular NY strip, and it was cooked to perfection. It is not cheap, but it is worth it.“

“I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting the food to be this exceptional. And that is because sometimes chain establishments are not great. However, Camille suggested a couple of dishes for us and they did not disappoint and in fact I would’ve licked the plates if it was publicly appropriate. “This place is amazing. The decor, the lighting, the ambiance, it's perfect. The bartenders are great and the drinks are incredible. Do you want an actually good dirty Martini? They have one on the menu! The margaritas and (true) classic cocktails are great too. The music is top notch too with an in-house DJ on the days I've been there, but I will say it's too way too loud on the lounge side of the bar. The dance floor is small but poppin, but the lounge side is a bunch of people leaning too far forward in their chairs and attempting to scream at each other over the music. We left with sore throats just having normal conversation, lol. That's the only point to dock, please mildly adjust the sound system on the one side of the house.“

“This place is a GEM. I feel like I’m in an indie film every time i visit this place. This place is so freaking cool. It has all the great classics for music and friendly locals and bartender/server. Very eclectic, warm and overall relaxing.

This is by far my favorite sandwich shop in Long Beach. It doesn’t get any better than this place. I’ve had breakfast, lunch and dinner here and they’re all bangers. I have brought multiple people here and they love it just as much! I just haven’t had their pizza and desserts here yet but i wouldn’t be surprised if that was good too. This place is ALL about the bread. Any sandwich you get, you’re going to be invited to the most delicious holding vessel your mouth has ever experienced. The quality of the meats are really good and the balance between them are spectacular. My favorite sandwich so far is the Track Suit. Warm, savory, cheesy, soft, crunchy deliciousness! And that pickled cherry pepper is EPIC. I want one right now! Can’t wait to come back and try more items.

Do yourself a favor and choose your own adventure here. From sitting inside or outside, it is always cool and nice ambiance; and you can always take it to go, the beach is down the street! They also have a deli shop where you can get cheap booze and cocktails in a can! I have also found new soft drinks that are now my favorite here.

“I loved their smoked Gouda burger with the best sweet potato fries that I've ever had! Nice menu, something for everyone. Excellent cocktails, Slay's own wines, and always my favorite desserts at all of the David Slay restaurants. We couldn't stop moaning between bites of the seasonal pear almond tart! The apple berry crumble was sold out, otherwise we would have ordered both. Lively ambiance and neighborhood gem.“

“I had a great experience here. I called once we landed to see if we would be able to check in early, and they said yes. My husband was so sick from the plane ride, so we were grateful for that. The room we were given wasn’t cleaned, but the front desk immediately found us one that was ready. I love the waiting area set up, and there was a cute large connect 4 game. I enjoyed a drink a bar, the bartender was very sweet. The floors are confusing, so be sure to ask the staff what floor your room is on. Parking was simple, it’s designated just for the hotel. You can pay hourly or do all day. There is a shuttle to the airport I think. We rented a vehicle though. You are walking distance from a pharmacy and a few restaurants. “I came to Old Town Patio for some cold brews and food.

Their pizza was good, I ordered it as-is on the menu, and I recommend if you like pepperoncini peppers.

All of the dishes we had we amazing...especially the dessert(can't remember the name exactly) but it was a pineapple upside down cake. We had an amazing time there. “The atmosphere is popping here! Excellent DJ, very welcoming people, and good vibes. The only downside is that it is a very small place for the number of people that arrive; no dance floor, only one pool table, and hard to order a drink because of the very crowded bar. However, it is a very good spot for the Black community and for anyone, of course. Everyone was so happy to be here. This was my first time visiting, and I am confident I have found a new local to hang out at.“

“The food in the restaurant is wonderful. They could use more help when busy as we often can’t get more refills or drinks since the waiters have a lot of tables. We tried DoorDash three times and the food was bad. They didn’t include tortillas with fajitas, a burrito was uncooked where even the cheese was not melted on it. Go in to dine, but don’t order delivery.“

“4.5 rounded to a 5 - came here around 9pm after a round of golf in pv. This place had been on my bookmarked list, and their late (ish) hours led us to give the place a try, and boy, it did not disappoint. We ordered the mascarpone and black beans with crackers app, and it was delicious!

Their main chicken entree, garlic fried rice, and their udon were also all very good (would pass on the rice next time). We ended the meal with the matcha tiramisu and left super stuffed and satisfied.“

Food and service are always great and Andrew has been fantastic at taking care of our guests on our wedding day. Love their Iris Azul, El Pistachio and all the mezcal drinks. And the service was great! They arrived early. And the food was hot. The owner, Norwood, presented the food with a very appetizing description of each entree. Everyone loved it! Additionally, the portions were very generous. And everyone went back for seconds. At Triedstone, we do everything with excellence. And Darrow’s definitely met the challenge. “Great spot in Lawndale/Torrance area. Awesome for catching Dodger games. They have plenty of amazing beer on draft. They also offer wine and other hard liquor here. I like the decor they have set up here. Parking can be a pain since its right on Prairie but if you drive into the neighborhood you usually can find a spot. If you like brooklyn bar down hawthorne you'd like this place. Similar vibe.“

“If I could give more than 5 stars for customer service I would. The skillet Carlos delivered wasn't just customer it was high class hospitality to where we were the host stepping into his home. He was phenomenal from the first interaction. As a disabled person you know I have plenty of things I look for. Ease of parking ✔️ accessibility especially for a variety of mobility aides ✔️ comfort in using the restroom companion or alone ✔️ . This place not only ada compliant offered comfort for all disabilities. The beers on tap easily accessible even those of us in mobility aide mode.

Food was absolutely delicious 😋 I opted for lemon chicken. My friend cajun pasta. Mother the chicken wings. Although slow too cook ingredients were fresh and flavorful. Our cocktails my margaritta needs some work being a former bartender/manager but presentation and deliveryb10/10 beers on draft 100/10 something for everybody and martinis 10/1].
