“Got the Giulio sandwich. The small was still pretty big and decent price. The meats were fresh and the bread was soft. The staff was really nice.
The food can take awhile to make given it's so busy during the lunch rush. The market itself is nice for getting many Italian items like olive oil, fresh pasta and tinned fish.
The outdoor seating is nice but also next to a busy street so it can get loud.“

“The Tuna appitizer is most likely the best I have ever eaten in my 60 years on the planet. I spend a lot of days off shore sports fishing on the East Coast and know yellow fin well. Great job!! I came back again the next night!! The staff is just as great and Jordan will not steer you wrong.“

“YO! This pasta. OH MY GOSH. I got the angel hair with the pink sauce and … it was one of the best things to grace my lips. It. Was. So. Good. “It was our first time at L'Opera and I'd say the experience was excellent. The staff are very friendly from the time you walk in, up to the time you leave. The food is delicious. My daughter had the rack of lamb. I had the filet mignon. Plus their homemade ravioli, minestrone soup and tri color salad. I wanted to try their dessert too but were so full from the rich meal we had that we don't have any more room left for it. We will definitely come back and bring friends with us next time.“

“What a fantastic discovery. I was craving calzones and used to have a spot in Los Feliz which I would go out of my way for. After trying a few places which fell short of the mark in South Bay, I almost gave up on finding authentic Italian food locally. The search was worth it as this is now going to be one of my forever places to come on a regular basis. From the calzone, to the pizza, salads and even the Cannoli Siciliani Pistacchio, everything has been nothing short of amazing. To top it off, it’s family run and they are all the sweetest and most warm people I’ve encountered at any local restaurant. If you haven’t tried them yet, you need to stop by.“

“I stumbled upon this little gem while out for a walk, and I’m so glad I gave it a try after hearing locals raving about it back at my hotel. The calamari was cooked to perfection, and the clam chowder was so authentic it reminded me of home back in Nova Scotia. I even returned the next day for the seafood linguine, and I’m still thinking about it two days later! If you’re in the San Pedro area, this place is an absolute must-visit.“

“Came by on a whim through a recommendation from chatGPT lol. I was craving pasta. I ordered the one that starts with a T and my daughter ordered the one that starts with a P hehe. “We wanted to put a twist on Canadian bacon and pineapple extra large. Instead of Canadian bacon we asked for sausage and beef meatballs chopped with additional mushrooms. It was a pretty big pizza for only 28 something with tax. $3 per extra topping. It was delicious!“

“Great pastrami sandwich! Great bread that they toast in the pizza oven. I have been numerous times now and while I want to be able to talk to the rest of their menu....I cant. I ordered the pastrami sandwich my first time and have never looked back. But I am sure they have got some other great dishes to offer, pretty big menu. It's a cute local little spot to grab food or eat on their little patio. Highly recommend“

“First time at Il Posto, very welcoming, warm ambiance, attentive service, server Sylvia did not forget that it's a birthday, food fresh , but the lasagna I ordered very salty and swimming in acidic tomato sauce , and bread not complimentary, usually it is a free treat to welcome customers in an Italian restaurant. Overall food good but would be tastier if less salt .“
