“What a fantastic discovery. I was craving calzones and used to have a spot in Los Feliz which I would go out of my way for. After trying a few places which fell short of the mark in South Bay, I almost gave up on finding authentic Italian food locally. The search was worth it as this is now going to be one of my forever places to come on a regular basis. From the calzone, to the pizza, salads and even the Cannoli Siciliani Pistacchio, everything has been nothing short of amazing. To top it off, it’s family run and they are all the sweetest and most warm people I’ve encountered at any local restaurant. If you haven’t tried them yet, you need to stop by.“

Even the table bread stood out — warm, incredibly soft, and so fresh it practically melted in your mouth. It set the tone for an amazing meal. We started with the burrata, which was unbelievably creamy and paired beautifully with the tomatoes and seasonings. It was fresh, flavorful, and one of the best burrata plates I've had anywhere. The lasagna with vodka sauce was the highlight of the night. The layers were tender, the cheese was perfectly melted, and the vodka sauce had the ideal balance of richness and flavor without being heavy. You can taste the quality in every bite. The ravioli was just as impressive — perfectly cooked, generously filled, and served with a sauce that complemented it perfectly. Everything tasted homemade, authentic, and crafted with care. The service was warm and attentive, and the ambiance was elegant yet comfortable. The staff checked in at the right times and made the experience feel special without being intrusive. Overall, everything exceeded my expectations. L'Opera is officially one of my new favorite Italian restaurants. “Everything was amazing! The service was great. We didn't have to wait to be seated. Even though there was a big sporting event on the TV's , the noise level wasn't loud. We had a signature pizza there that was delicious. There was a slight wait for that but it wasn't overly long. This is our second time here and we will definitely be back!“

The coffee house down the block doesn’t allow dogs in and I like to grab a coffee for our morning walks and they always take care of us! “Heard about the newly opened IL Posta from our daughter, so we decided to check it out for a weekday lunch. They’ve got a solid lunch menu with special prices, and on Tuesdays you even get a free drink — nice little perk.

We tried a couple of pastas and they came out well. The pasta itself had a nice al dente bite, which I really appreciate. The Alfredo sauce was the star — creamy, cheesy, and just right. The vodka sauce leaned a little on the sour side, but still tasty overall. We also shared a flatbread; flavor was fine but I wished the crust had more crispiness to it.

Service was responsive and friendly, and parking was easy with plenty of street options nearby. Overall, a good new addition to the Riviera Village dining scene — looking forward to coming back and trying more from the menu.“

“Don't let the old decor prevent you from dining or taking out from here. The food is excellent. We have tried many dishes, and all were delicious. My husband's favorite is veal Marsala and mine is seafood cioppino. The lasagne is excellent. We see many take-out orders of pizza. The bread is warm and fresh, and we usually ask for seconds.“

“I was told Torrance location is better than the others due to them not watering down their recipes.
It held true.
Soups are thicker and more flavorful.
I try the steak Gorgonzola pasta dish when I go to other locations & Torrance blew the rest out of the water.
Service was amazing.
The manager attended us and everything was on point.
Just want to say, if you love Olive Garden, try this location.“

“We wanted to put a twist on Canadian bacon and pineapple extra large. Instead of Canadian bacon we asked for sausage and beef meatballs chopped with additional mushrooms. It was a pretty big pizza for only 28 something with tax. $3 per extra topping. It was delicious!“

The service is excellent, Cinzia and Gaetano, the owners were very pleasant to deal with. They made sure that we got what we were looking for.“

I ordered the pastrami sandwich my first time and have never looked back. But I am sure they have got some other great dishes to offer, pretty big menu.
