“Got the Giulio sandwich. The small was still pretty big and decent price. The meats were fresh and the bread was soft. The staff was really nice.
The food can take awhile to make given it's so busy during the lunch rush. The market itself is nice for getting many Italian items like olive oil, fresh pasta and tinned fish.
The outdoor seating is nice but also next to a busy street so it can get loud.“

“The Tuna appitizer is most likely the best I have ever eaten in my 60 years on the planet. I spend a lot of days off shore sports fishing on the East Coast and know yellow fin well. Great job!! I came back again the next night!! The staff is just as great and Jordan will not steer you wrong.“

“YO! This pasta. OH MY GOSH. I got the angel hair with the pink sauce and … it was one of the best things to grace my lips. It. Was. So. Good. I cannot wait to have my leftovers until later, so breakfast it is! Highly highly highly recommend checking this place out! And the service is absolutely incredible.“

“What a fantastic discovery. I was craving calzones and used to have a spot in Los Feliz which I would go out of my way for. After trying a few places which fell short of the mark in South Bay, I almost gave up on finding authentic Italian food locally. The search was worth it as this is now going to be one of my forever places to come on a regular basis. From the calzone, to the pizza, salads and even the Cannoli Siciliani Pistacchio, everything has been nothing short of amazing. To top it off, it’s family run and they are all the sweetest and most warm people I’ve encountered at any local restaurant. If you haven’t tried them yet, you need to stop by.“

“It was our first time at L'Opera and I'd say the experience was excellent. The staff are very friendly from the time you walk in, up to the time you leave. The food is delicious. My daughter had the rack of lamb. I had the filet mignon. Plus their homemade ravioli, minestrone soup and tri color salad. I wanted to try their dessert too but were so full from the rich meal we had that we don't have any more room left for it. We will definitely come back and bring friends with us next time.“

“Everything was amazing! The service was great. We didn't have to wait to be seated. Even though there was a big sporting event on the TV's , the noise level wasn't loud. We had a signature pizza there that was delicious. There was a slight wait for that but it wasn't overly long. This is our second time here and we will definitely be back!“

The coffee house down the block doesn’t allow dogs in and I like to grab a coffee for our morning walks and they always take care of us! “Don't let the old decor prevent you from dining or taking out from here. The food is excellent. We have tried many dishes, and all were delicious. My husband's favorite is veal Marsala and mine is seafood cioppino. The lasagne is excellent. We see many take-out orders of pizza. The bread is warm and fresh, and we usually ask for seconds.“

“What a fabulous restaurant and dining experience. The food and wine were spectacular, as was the service. The steak was delicious and presented well with a sauce that was flambe'd. The other diners in my party also loved what they had! Our server, Fili, was great as well!“

“We wanted to put a twist on Canadian bacon and pineapple extra large. Instead of Canadian bacon we asked for sausage and beef meatballs chopped with additional mushrooms. It was a pretty big pizza for only 28 something with tax. $3 per extra topping. It was delicious!“

“We recently catered sandwiches from Amo. The sandwiches were full of flavor and very fresh. They were even able to customize a vegetarian sandwich for us. The service is excellent, Cinzia and Gaetano, the owners were very pleasant to deal with. They made sure that we got what we were looking for.“

“Great pastrami sandwich! Great bread that they toast in the pizza oven. I have been numerous times now and while I want to be able to talk to the rest of their menu....I cant. I ordered the pastrami sandwich my first time and have never looked back. But I am sure they have got some other great dishes to offer, pretty big menu. It's a cute local little spot to grab food or eat on their little patio. Highly recommend“
