“I have been enjoying meals at Okane Umi since 2016. They have always been excellent in every category of service. The restaurant has had its share of ups and downs but I am happy with how strongly Okane Umi has powered up its menu and added some wonderfully flavorful genuine Japanese dishes. Im pleased they have reinforced their sushi, sashimi, chirashi offerings - I love this restaurant.“

“Loved Loved Loved the food and attentive staff. The young men serving us worked fast and kept us informed when our table would be ready. We wanted to sit at a table, rather than the counter. I learned this place stays open late on the weekends and this is where many restaurant staff come to eat! This place is tiny, yet cozy. The tables are placed a bit close, but you still have privacy.

She shared the gyoza which was crispy on the outside and flavorful inside. One friend ordered the yakisoba and I tasted it which was very good, I will order it next time. My other friend ordered the mabo tofu which I also had a chance to taste and I could easily understand why my friend says this dish is her comfort food. I ordered the Tan Tan Ramen and it was so good! I took half home to share with my husband.

There are so many other dishes I want to try next time! Free parking on the lot. We had to wait 15 minutes for a table, which was totally ok. because the food was so good! Prices are reasonable too. OH! They have Happy Hour!!!“

“5-star alert! My wife surprised me with this delicious Tunisian restaurant on Father’s Day! It was like an exotic trip to Mediterranean North Africa. The servers were good and the owner was super friendly and helpful! We had prawns, fish, lamb, cauliflowers, and the infamous Hand of Fatima. Everything was delicious, with unique flavors and beautifully presented. The sauces were so unique and flavorful, we had 3 orders of bread as we want to enjoy more of the flavors in every dish!“

Very expensive at $500 per night, used the 2 $10 free tickets at bar for 2 drinks and still owed $8.36. “I cannot say enough of the five star service Ernesto provided. We were waiting for the shuttle to take us to the airport. It was 10 mins late, then 15 mins late. I asked the gentleman at the front desk to inquire but he was not helpful at all. Just said he will be there. I expressed my concern that we had an international flight to catch. I was so frustrated by this front desk man's customer service I told my husband we should call an Uber. Meanwhile we already paid for the hotel shuttle. Ernesto overheard my frustration. Called the bus to find out it wouldn't be coming there was an issue. He refunded us for our shuttle we paid for and also paid for our Uber. It was Four Seasons customer service, over and beyond exceeded our expectations! You should be so lucky to have a person like Ernesto. The other gentleman needs to go back to learning customer service skills and hospitality! Go Ernesto!“

“My experience with District Wine was top tier! the staff and i think that was the owner, they were really nice and humble makes me wanna support the business more you know, i dont know what to get tbh and they provide recommendation and explaining it in detail to make sure that the drink that i will order will match my pallet, and it did! I'm super happy on how it played out and i enjoyed the time there, interior design was cool it was very cozy and kinda welcoming in a sense. Will make sure to recommend this to my friends and family!“

I wish they had one in LA. The food is consistently good and on point, and so authentic and high quality like the foods that I had in Japan. My Japanese friend recommended this place, so I knew it would be legit but it’s quite mind-blowing. I love getting motsu nabe, saba roll, and the beef tongue here in addition to suntory draft ✨and make sure to get a reservation ahead!“

“Ended up getting spicy chicken Ramen, and to be completely honest, it's definitely One of the better Ramen spots I've had in a loooooong time here down in SoCal. The broth was just 👌, egg perfectly done and not to mention the quality of the meat. I really don't understand how this place only got 4.2. In my solid opinion this place is 4.9 at least , and for the price and the quality it offers I would definitely rank it 5.0. Overall quality of a ramen easily could be compared to ramen you would have in Japan.

“It’s in the Hampton Inn just south of LAX. As of March 2026 they are open from 4 PM to 11 PM daily. There’s a happy hour from 4 PM to 6 PM which gets you $2 or $3 off food and drinks. It’s on the pricey side, but this is in an airport hotel, and restaurants in airport hotels are normally not cheap.“

“I went here for lunch today and it was great. I didn't know it was a fast casual, assembly line setup. I had a bowl with the asada and toppins of my choosing. Loved it. Meat had a great flavor, the pickled red onion was the MVP topping, and the guacamole had great texture and flavor. My colleagues had the carnitas and chicken options and they enjoyed their meal as well. I would definitely go back and recommend this spot to anyone.“
