“I stumbled across this place while waiting for my tire to get fixed next door, I was pleasantly surprised with my meal. I ordered Chicken Pad See Ew let me tell you, this dish is pretty common to order at Thai restaurants but they nailed it! So flavorful and great portion size for the price. Definitely coming back here, P.S the staff is super friendly and I didn't feel rushed to place my order like I feel at other places.“

“This is truly a gem of a hole in the wall!! Almost literally, and I say that with respect and appreciation. This cute little eatery is easy to miss, being tucked in a very small strip mall (if it even qualifies as that!) between a small pharmacy and a laundromat, just south of the Arco on the corner of PCH and Pacific. But once you have eaten here, boy oh boy is it hard to forget!I come here about once every other week when I'm on a regular work schedule. Became hooked immediately with their unique bahn mi sandwiches and their pate chaud. Now I'm completely obsessed with their plant-based shrimp spring rolls and their grilled pork bun bowl. That bowl is the perfect balance of light and filling, flavorful and refreshing. It is one of my lunch go-to options. And the plant-based shrimp rolls are AMAZING. Obviously I'm not vegan, but this is an item that I enjoy so much despite it all.I have yet to try their pho. Maybe one of these days. They do have seating inside, but no restroom. Also, parking lot is small and shared, so I avoid coming during peak lunch hours, usually after 1 to pick up my food, and I've had no issues.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, flavorful too!Parking: Parking lot is pretty small and shared with a pharmacy, laundromat and discount store.“

“Delicious food with generous portions and super reasonable prices. The people working are super nice and the space is clean and well lit. There’s a few basic tables inside, not a full dine-in spot really. Easy parking in the strip mall too!“

“Casual family-run Vietnamese spot that serves classic eats. Came here for dinner at 8pm on a weeknight with a friend and there was no wait. Parking is available in the back. Indoor dining only. Credit cards accepted. There was a Yelp check in deal where you could get 5% off your bill. We ordered some spring rolls as apps to share and they were very crispy. I had the pho tai and it was very filling. I liked the broth and the leftovers kept fairly well the following day.“

What truly stood out was the exceptional service - always delivered with a genuine smile. A 5-star gem that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking an outstanding dining experience!“

“I loved this place. We were in a hurry to make a reservation for a museum and they were lightning fast. We sat down. Ordered and food was out in like 3 minutes. They have great vegetarian options too.The spring rolls were scrumptious and they didn't skimp on shrimp or pork. The sauce was divine. The pho was super yummy with just the right amount of meat. Broth was delicious. Kids got fried rice and it was a huge portion. I also got the banh Mai sandwich which was good but a little less meat than I typically get. Great flavor and crusty baguette. We loved our meal.“

“Cash only. Busy lunch location for the area. Standard menu items that cover rice to noodles, a big menu for a small mom and pop shop. Small parking lot can get hard to get out of during rush hour. Maybe easier to park on the street instead.“

“Been here a few times, have ordered the pho, vermicelli, spring rolls, and a rice plate. I can easily recommend any of these items! My favorite so far has been the combo vermicelli where you can pick two proteins. If you're looking for your pho fix, this is the spot.“

“Hands down one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Excellent service. Atmosphere was such a vibe, it’s super cozy. The food was heavenly. I got the ultimate breakfast, it comes with bacon, two pork sausages, eggs, toast, and a nice little salad. I demolished it in under thirty minutes and had a nutella croffle for dessert. Overall a lovely experience. 10 out of 5 stars.“

“This place is incredible. I dined here with my vegetarian son twice in five days, but I’m not a vegetarian. I didn’t miss the meat whatsoever. The food was seasoned so deliciously that it was simple to eat healthier. The texture and flavor of their “meat impostors” will trick your palate! My only criticism was the bathroom was not exactly the cleanest! Given the quality of the food, this seems like an easy fix!Vegetarian options: Nothing bland here!Parking: Several parking spotsKid-friendliness: Space for childrenWheelchair accessibility: Space for wheelchair or walker“

“There are probably 10 Pho restaurants in the few miles between my home and #9Pho. I literally will not go to a single one of them, because it's just not worth it in comparison to #Pho. The food is so tasty, the staff are friendly and welcoming, and they even carry coconuts for extra hydration. If you want Pho in Long Beach, please do yourself a favor and visit!“

“I was in the area viewing apartments, so I decided to locate a new pho place. This place is spacious, pretty quiet so I enjoyed that. I ordered the steak and brisket pho, I have to start by saying this was the BEST brisket I’ve had in a pho. It was not fatty at all, and super tender but not dry!If you follow me on here, you know the type of pho I like. This one was clean and packed a little flavor. I wouldn’t say it’s the best I’ve had, but the brisket was unmatched. The noodles were fresh and intact too. — On the downside, I ordered the salt & pepper shrimp, but I didn’t like it. I ate one, and they still charged me for it. Not the best customer service I’d prefer, and they asked me about it. So I just thought they’d take care of me. Anyway, I’d go back for the pho if I’m in the area. Also, I want to try the fried rice based off the pics.“
“A real hidden gem in the South Bay where authentic Vietnamese food is scarce. This is a hole-in-the-wall so don't expect anything other than real, authentic Vietnamese food. There's not too many Vietnamese eaters around here where you can get tasty hu tieu (Vietnamese pork and seafood noodle soup), bun rieu (Vietnamese crab noodle soup), and bun bo Hue (Vietnamese spicy beef and pork noodle soup). I was also delighted after trying their bo kho (Vietnamese beef stew)! Just stop reading more yelp reviews and go try.“

“Love the shrimp spring rolls and egg rolls. My daughter loves the pho and my husband likes his grilled pork and rice. We were able to dine in at 11pm. Glad we were able to make it, esp after arriving from a transatlantic flight. Thank you for the good food.Kid-friendliness: They have a high chair and kiddie utensils that came with a scissor.“

“I loved the selection of meat in their combo pho. The brisket was super tender and fatty the way that I like it. Also, I don’t know if there’s something unique about their Sriracha, but it’s really fragrant and floral which really enhances the experience. I’d definitely come back here. It really hit the spot“

“The owner is very sweet and attentive. The pho is THE BEST in lb hands down. Anytime I've ever gotten pho I add a lot of other things like six limes and a ton of hoisin and sambal but this pho is so good on its own I barely add any extra things bc the base flavor is insane. Very flavorful and well priced“

“First timer here. Huge portion sizes, good prices, and they offer more meats compared to other pho spots. The to go bowl is HUGE. You’re eating straight from a bowl vs a styrofoam container you usually get from other pho spots. That’s a huge plus for me. I will be coming back ??“

“I’ve go to this restaurant at least once a month. Everything on the menu is good. My favorite is the brisket Pho, pork egg rolls, shrimp rice wraps, chowmein and the hot jasmine tea. The hot tea is loose leaf, served in a lil tea pot. So you may pour yourself as you go. They will give you a to go cup for what’s left as well. All the condiments are on the tables already included the chop sticks and straws. They have fountain drinks and drinks in the refrigerator for you to choose. My favorite is the jarrito guava or the parrot guava. They also have glass bottles YooHoo and snacks like chips and chocolate bars at the front. The place is good for kids. My daughter enjoys the quiet ambience and the seating fits your party comfortably. The owner Steve and his wife are amazing nice people. The parking is ample as well. My favorite restaurant overall especially for taking my toddler.“

“The food is good but it is not worth the price. I got the pho combination which was 16 dollars. I would not mind the price but they are stingy with the meat. I would not bother coming back when there are so many other options that are worth the price of admission.“

“My family and I had ordered the #14 that contained all the meats and let me tell you that this soup is Delicious. The broth has that good beef taste and they give you plenty of noodles in the soup. “The food is great here and the service was fast and friendly. I highly recommend the lemongrass chicken and the blood sausage porridge. “Food is definitely not my favorite pho, but it's pretty solid. It's a a little sweet which is not really what I expect out of pho and the broth is also on the milder side. As for service, it's very good. I had my food served in around 5-8ish minutes starting from when I first sat down. One gripe I do have is the quality of the disposable chopsticks though. While the second set I grabbed was fine, the first set was slightly green and one of the sticks was split. All in all though, I'd probably come back to this place.“

“Shaking beef was salty and beef was not tender. Bo Kho meat was chewy, but broth was very good. Crispy Wings weren't that crispy but flavor is good. Service staff was nice but a bit slow in the beginning. Had to wait 15 minutes for the first glass of wine. We had a nice time but food could be better.“

“I ordered the shrimp rice bowl and the popcorn chicken. The popcorn chicken was nice and juice, my kid loved it. I didn't realize the shrimp wasn't deveined or deshelled, and it was slightly overcooked. I craved more of the pickled carrots and I believe if they added pickles onions it would set it off for real for real. The meal as a whole was good though.“

“Haven't been to a Lee's in years and it's actually a pretty decent chain for what it is. Just a quick and cheap banh mi and a lot of other options that'll do the job in a pinch. We stopped by really early in the morning before a flight and it was short and sweet. We also grabbed some pastries too and they were very hot and yummy. It's not the cheapest in town but it's still worth it.“

“Pho Hana is a hidden gem with good prices and near instant service. Pho is mostly prep, taking little time to serve, and this place has had a good system down for decades. The soup flavorful but not too rich or salty. For the #1 you get a good amount of everything.“
“Ordered combo #2 to go. The combo consists of 2-shrimp spring rolls, fries, and iced Thai tea with no boba. Spring rolls: Each roll is individually wrapped, and they are made to order. The dipping sauce is a fish sauce with chili. This is a great dish for hot summer days. Fries: Also freshly made and seasoned with salt. Thai tea: Tasted not too sweet and very creamy. Ambiance: Mom and Pop shop with a lot to offer, bakery, Vietnamese dishes, Vietnamese sandwiches, fruits, frozen egg rolls, etc. Staffs are nice. Price: The combo I got only $9 which I think is unbeatable. Overall: This place is a hidden gem, will definitely come back and try other food!“

“After picking up some stuff for work nearby, I wanted a nice bowl of pho. I saw this place which reminded me of another place in long Beach that used to have the same name. The pho was good. Nice flavor to it. The noodles it self could've been better. It was a little mushy. I usually order an extra side of onions. While I love lots of onions, this was a bit much and I felt bad not eating it all. Overall it's a nice place for pho. The server was a bit weird. He would come by and ask how things were randomly but when I actually needed a refill of water he would not come or when he would walk by he would look the other way to avoid me lol.“

“A lot have changed about this place, isn't so great anymore besides their coffee. Today was a little intense, the amount of people gathered around the front entrance and parking lot kind of made you think twice before coming here. Walking by to enter wasn't a pleasant feeling. They stare down at you like pineapple on a pizza, lol. I guess it's a cafe for a reason. If there are no seats inside, no worries, other options are outside and in the parking lot. Management needs to reconsider something. It will definitely drive customers away. Was eager to come back and get that Banh Mi sandwich but was a little disappointed. They used different types of bread, not your traditional "Vietnamese Baguettes, have a pillowy fluffy crumb that is super light and a crackly thin crust." But more of a "French baguettes have a chewier open crumb and have a thicker crunchy crust." It's just the type of bread I'm not used to. It reminds me of a regular cold cut sandwich, which is even a little better. Let's dive right into the good stuff, but if my ways of describing things don't please you. Take a look at some of the pictures I've attached to this review. My orders are, Drink: 1. 2x Vietnamese Ice Coffee(1 LRG cup) 5/5 The drink is made by passing hot water through the grounds into a cup that already contains condensed milk. Sandwich: 1. #1 Cottage Sandwich Combination 4/5 Jambon, Headcheese and Pate with house Pickle (Daikon & Carrot), Onion, Jalapeno, Cilantro Salt & Pepper, Soy Sauce, and House Mayonnaise. Side Item: 1. 1x Cottage Sausage 3/5 Sausage, slices of cucumber, 1 slice of lettuce, and house pickle. My overall experience was okay. Great customer service 5/5. Atmosphere and vibe interior/exterior 3/5. Food/Drink 4/5. The coffee was on point, super satisfying but not so much on the sandwich and sausage. Everyone have different tastes buds, so I would still give them a try and experience for yourself. Interior is clean and elegant feeling. This place is unique in their own way, from design and presentation, it's pretty nice. If you're in the area, stop by and say hi. Enjoy it here or on the go. Share your experience. P.s. Don't forget to smile cause you're beautiful. SYOY!“
“Was super craving pho on a rainy Wednesday night so decided to take a trip to bamboo song. Pricing is reasonable my combo pho was $15~ excluding tips. It was a comfort meal, delicious and filling. I don't think the combo pho had beef tripes which I usually look forward to.“

“I really enjoyed my steak pho. I've tried 3 pho restaurants so far and this by far was my favorite. The broth was perfect, everything was fresh, and my noodles were separated and not in a clump. I had a spring roll which was very good but probably too much food. The pho was more than enough. The broth warmed me up and I knew I was eating something delicious and good for me. The service was fine. I was greeted when I came in and all of my questions were answered and my needs were met. My waitress was nice. It's a cute little restaurant in a strip mall. Plenty of seats and tables, and very clean. I will definitely go back even though it's a little out of my way. The pho is definitely worth the drive.“

“The only reason they are not getting 4 stars is because they are so good that I always want to be able to get a table. The owners are absolutely lovely people. My wife and I stopped in and they treated us like family incredibly heart warming. Ok now let's get to the food. We both had the spring rolls and house Pho. Let me tell you it was as delicious as I have ever had. I can't wait for the next time we go there I'm going To bring a bunch of people so that we can taste everything. Such an under stated place. “I discovered this place back in 2018 when I moved to southbay from SouthPass. Love their pho, it's fragrant and full of flavor both there pho(s) and bun (cold) noodles. They are both great during the summer and winter months. Their bahn mi sands are decent, but I like their soups better. I have had their poke bowls, which you can customize if you have cravings. I have ordered numerous times for take out and delivery. If you do decide to eat in house, the people are great, friendly, and hospitable. The restaurant is a bit small and not good for large groups. It is located right off the PCH in Lomita and in the same parking lot as with Maru Korean Restaurant which is a good eats place.“
