“Last night we went to Speak Cheezy on 4th St at Termino. First off, EXCELLENT customer service! We had the Shroomday Button (Oyster and Maitake Mushrooms/ White Wine Braised Leeks / Truffle Cheese / house stretched mozzarella / shredded mozz / parsley / post oven of lemon zest. *We love to add Hobbs Sausage*). I added that delicious sausage and loved that pizza! We also had the Bloomsdale (garlicky bloomsdale spinach / hand stretched mozzarella / shredded mozzarella /pecorino / smoked ricotta / gaeta olive / za’atar / feta salsa verde)... and YUM! And we decided to try the Garden of Farms Little Gem Caesar Salad (little gems / kewpie caesar dressing / pizza croutons / anchovies / Ribbons of Fiscalini Gold / soft cooked egg). Again, tasty, tasty, tasty. Speak Cheezy sure seems to use high-end products in the creation of their pizzas and salads. Everything was top notch. That salad was so yummy with that incredible salad dressing and the jammy soft cooked egg. I want another one to eat with my lovely pizza leftovers. :)“

“I stopped by for a quick breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. The place has a cozy, old-school diner feel with friendly staff who remembered my coffee order on my second visit. I tried their chilaquiles and they were fresh, perfectly spiced, and generously portioned. The coffee isn’t fancy but it’s strong and refilled often. It’s a great little spot if you’re looking for a no-frills, warm start to your morning.“

“Dined here this evening. We enjoyed some Cocktails to start then ordered Beef Tartare, Shrimp with Veg and Roasted Carrots. Entrees varied from Pasta to Ribeye steak and Burger. All delicious. The Carbonara needed more bacon but that was the only issue. Desserts were great. The Espresso wasn’t hot enough for my guest but overall we enjoyed the evening celebrating a birthday. We all liked our food - it was "good" (OK would sound as if any of us had been unhappy) - good burgers and fries. Unless I would be asked by someone to join particularly there, I doubt I would go again. It's not a "No" to the restaurant itself, it is a "Yes" to all the other great places on the same street I have not explored yet. My one beef was wthe bartender at closing. I'm aware of his responsibilities to get us out when everyone's feeling no pain @2 am. Closing....not an easy job!
Perhaps one can attribute his fatigue & impatience trying to get us the hell out that resulted in my perceived rude encounter with El Jefe right at the end of a fun evening. Tone & attitude translate, my friend. Ya gotta be firm but not antagonistic.👹
I tipped 50% for 3 drinks at 11 per.
