“Wow! What an incredible meal we had at Liv's. The seafood was so fresh and delicious. We had the shrimp cocktail with a unique fried horseradish sauce, crispy and light calamari, a charred gem wedge salad and a fantastic lobster roll stuffed full of juicy, delicious lobster. Very nice and friendly staff that made the experience all the better. If we lived near by, we'd be back quite often. Thanks, Liv's!“

“The food and service were very good and we had a nice view of the harbor from our table. The only negative was the Knats that were flying around our table while we were trying to eat our meal and enjoy our anniversary dinner. We had to constantly stop eating and swat at the knats to keep them away from us and our food. This was our first time staying on the Queen Mary and eating at this restaurant so I can't say if this is an ongoing issue or one time issue, but it definitely put a damper on our dining experience. Even our waiter apologized for it.“

“Dined here this evening. We enjoyed some Cocktails to start then ordered Beef Tartare, Shrimp with Veg and Roasted Carrots. Entrees varied from Pasta to Ribeye steak and Burger. All delicious. The Carbonara needed more bacon but that was the only issue. Desserts were great. The Espresso wasn’t hot enough for my guest but overall we enjoyed the evening celebrating a birthday. Will recommend to my friends for sure. Would recommend a reservation as it was very busy by the time we left at 6.30 pm“

“Incredibly fresh, not greasy, lovely wood detailing in the dining room. Had the chefs filet which was tender and amazingly black pepper with onion. Also the black bean shrimp was fantastic with bell pepper and chili.

“Came here for a business dinner and was seated outside on a beautiful evening. Started off with a mix of oysters and the Cevichos. Both were excellent. Then the 5 of us went different directions for our mains, but my Squid Ink Linguini was top notch! Our server this evening was Chase K. He did excellent and we would love to come back here. Really good restaurant!“

“We ordered Dinner combo 9. We got our order after 15 minutes, which was quick. We tried the red snapper, and it's was good. The seasoning needs more spices, but the light coating was okay. The fried oysters were tasty, and the shrimp hit the spot. The sauces need to have more zing and tang to it. The fries had less salt but were not crispy enough. They have lots of fish to choose from. They also have chicken menu.Overall, this was a good place to order seafood and take out dinner. They don't have tables inside, so you have to eat in the car or take it home.“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hands down the BEST seafood in town! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. From the first bite, you can taste the quality and care that goes into each dish. The portions were generous, the service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere made the whole experience even better. If you're a seafood lover (or even if you're not), this place is a must-try. I'll definitely be coming back again and again! 🦞🐟🍤“
“I have been ordering fresh uni from Maruhide for some time, and I have never been disappointed. They are at the mercy of elements and natural factors like spawning, which impact availability. However, when they do have it, it is far superior to anything I can get at my local Japanese markets.
Recently, I have noticed they are developing new products and offering other gourmet Japanese foods like A5 Japanese wagyu, uni pasta kits, caviar, and soba kits. I have tried most of these products and have been extremely satisfied, especially with the soba! In my opinion, it truly rivals the fresh soba I get at restaurants that make their noodles on-premise. It's much better than any dried brands I've tried. I highly recommend it!
I have always been impressed with the quality of their uni, and now their other products are equally as good. Maruhide has become my go-to for gourmet Japanese foods.
One more thing: delivery. It is always well packed and arrives overnight. I live locally to the processing plant so I could pick it up, but why bother when the packaging and delivery are so excellent?“

“We've been here a few times for lunch because our work is nearby. Always very friendly service. Food is good! For a good lunch and relaxing atmosphere, not much else you can ask for. Don't know if they have their own parking, but usually we park on the street. It's an industrial area, so lots of trucks driving by. Overall good place for lunch“

“It was over a decade ago but I still remember my first meal here. This is a locals long standing hole in the wall. Owner is a straight up american tale. He also makes a mean Clam Chowder. The only reason why I don't think it has more reviews is that it's location may seem out of the way for most. People make the trek to come here because the food is simple, hearty, memorable and as fresh as wild catch gets. It's probably the best seafood in all of LA. At the very least, it's worth trying out.“
“Every thing was perfect great environment Great service. Love it awesome view“

“The outside and inside look very run down, you go in and see a very intriguing fish tank which is really nice and interesting and kind of adds to the atmosphere and a very nostalgic timeless way. I called in my order ahead of time and the person was very nice, but it was so difficult to hear them over whatever was going on in the background. The packaging for the food was very nice and when I finally got to try the thai curry chicken pizza it was actually really good. The cheese reminded me of pizzas from sams club and the crust was actually a soft bread and didn't feel dry or hard which was nice. The pizza overall had a really good taste. I got the cheese wontons and I wasn't a very big fan of them. Its not like a rangoon where it's soft around the cream cheese area. Its just like a giant thin chip wrapped around cream cheese. My partner liked them. I would go here again. The parking is a bit small, but the area wasn't full when we got there so it wasn't a concern. Also they have different hours! The first time I went they were closed because they didn't publicly update their hours to say they now close at 9:30pm. They do have an area to dine in, we just prefer eating at home“

“Came here to watch the Pittsburg Buffalo game great service. Great big screens. Service was exceptional. Salmon burgers and clam chowder Yum. Went to the LBT first but they would not turn up the sound because someone had already put $20 in the jukebox. Never heard this during playoffs. Doesn’t matter now, this is a perfect place. The bar and staff are wonderful!!!! Check them out. New owners too“

“We did the 3 course for 55 and added Lobster Mac and Cheese. It was ABSOLUTELY amazing! It was my first time there and I've gone to a lot of steakhouses ... it has EASILY BECOME MY FAVORITE ONE! The salmon and shrimp was slightly overcooked but so tasty it didn't matter!! Somehow it was STILL incredibly juicy and tender.. the lobster mac and cheese LOOKED like it was going to be terrible.... but it was INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS!! THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD AT A STEAKHOUSE. Sautéed spinach, Brussel sprouts, and mashed... IT WAS ALL GOOD!“

“Been there several times and will keep going back! The food, service and prices are good. Sometimes you may need to be patient because it gets very busy and there's only so much a server can do. As long as you understand that, this place will not disappoint! Highly recommend!“

“This place is truly a blessing. Genuine smiles matched with the crispiest fish I've had on the West Coast. Took my 8 year old for his spring break for a quick bite after the beach; Lord knows he's picky, but the food touched his soul as it did mine. 10/10, good down home food.“

2 Smoked Brisket tacos which were maxed out portion wise, Rice, beans, chips and an Horchata to wash it all down for under 10 bucks…
Can’t beat a deal like that with a stick even if you wanted to! Not to mention the tacos were great, the Brisket was tender and very flavorful. Staff were very friendly as well.

“Heritage Restaurant, Long Beach – A Well-Earned Michelin Star by Michael Broderick. In a city where “Californian” culinary ambition often plays second fiddle to casual dining, Heritage in Long Beach has carved out a place of quiet excellence, earning a well-deserved Michelin star. This intimate dining experience is a testament to ingredient-driven, technique-forward cooking, where flavors are both restrained, unpretentious, and deeply expressive. From the first bite, it was clear that Heritage excels at layering textures and flavors in unexpected ways. The meal began with an Amuse Bouche trio: a delicate prawn cracker topped with sweet Dungeness crab, a green leaf with another seafood salad that was to be eaten like a mini street taco, and balanced with the brightness and light crunch of pickled turnip. A seemingly simple couple of bites, but one that foreshadowed the precision and thoughtfulness of the courses to follow. To cleanse the palate, a mint tea infused with palo santo was served—a meditative interlude that was both refreshing and aromatic, setting the stage for the evening’s journey. The first official course, Crème Caviar, featured Russian Sturgeon Heritage Caviar and chive, a chilled preparation that was rich yet elegantly restrained. This was followed by Kanpachi Crudo, presented with carrot, ginger, and macédoine vegetables, offering a balance of clean ocean flavors against bright, vegetal undertones. Then came what I consider the star of the evening: a dish that fully captured the ethos of Heritage—Hen of the Woods Mushroom, topped in a “sunchoke stew” (crispy fried sunchoke) with fermented mushroom. For an additional $25, an indulgent shaving of black truffle took the dish to another level, transforming it into a sensory experience that evoked the deep, earthy satisfaction of foraging. The interplay of umami-rich elements made this course a masterpiece of textural and flavor contrast. The proteins that followed were executed with equal care. First, a perfectly prepared Rainbow Trout, sauted to perfection with a crispy layer of skin on one side, delicate pink flesh on the other, bathed in a delicate dashi and punctuated with bursts of smoked trout roe in a light creme sauce, which lent salinity and depth. Then, a 32-day dry-aged rib chop, a cut that can sometimes lean too “gamey” in the tradiinal steak house that cuts corners on a post aging trim, yet here was a revelation—tender, deeply beefy, but balanced. Accompanying the dish was sous vide endive, black garlic, and a shaving of Parmesan, which surprisingly lacked the usual sharpness, instead presenting a more rounded, delicate, nutty flavor. Desserts were a study in technique and balance. The first, a Grilled Strawberry with strawberry granita and Meyer lemon crème, was bright and refreshing, its layers revealing different expressions of cool and sweetness. Then came the Coco Craquelin, a delicate choux pastry filled with beurre noisette ganache and banana cremeux, meant to be eaten with the hands—a playful and interactive moment in the meal. Finally, a Sage Basque Cake, its subtle herbaceousness complemented by toasted hemp seeds and lemon curd, provided a grounding, crispy finish. Heritage is the kind of restaurant that doesn’t simply chase trends—it refines them into something personal, something intentional. The execution is confident but never showy, and the experience is paced with precision, allowing each dish to tell its own story. This is not just a meal—it’s a quiet, profound meditation on flavor, technique, and the land from which it all comes. Where other restaurant profess to be a true “Californian” style farm to table experience , Heritage is, without a doubt, a must-visit for anyone who seeks out truly exceptional dining in California.“
