“Amazing food that will Wow you 🥰“

“Randomly found this place and so glad I did. This just became my new burrito standard and I’ve been going to another place around the corner for literally 5 years. They have a bacon, sausage and egg burrito with potatoes and cheese that just rocked my world. It was perfectly portioned and every bite hit with all the flavors. They also give beans and chips for a breakfast burro which is a super nice touch. They gave red and green sauce-neither were too spicy, flavor was great compliment to the burrito. To top it all off the staff here was super nice, just the friendliness of the lady who took my order is enough for me to want to come back! Great job casita de amigos and I can’t wait to return!“

“The food was BUSSIN. No cap dawg FR FR. Their chicken burritos are really good! Wet bean and cheese burritos are amazing! Or a normal bean and cheese burrito it’s still fantastic! Personally I like to ask for extra cheese sometimes but that depends on the person! Service is pretty good, lots friendly people! Great atmosphere too! Overall good!“

“Great food, superfast and professional service and awesome salsa!!! This is fast food at it's best. Pollobowl, tacos al carbon, crunchy taco and the charbroiled chicken with rice and beans all hit the spot. Literally nothing was so-so, it was all great tasting. Service was attentive and to make it even better, we used a coupon and saved some bucks. Recommended if you like fresh food that is also nutritious.“

It was our first time visiting, and she truly made us feel welcomed by taking the time to greet us warmly and walk us through the menu with patience and care. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting and paired perfectly with the exceptional hospitality, creating a wonderful overall experience. “I love Oscars, quality food and ingredients. Oscar is always super friendly and I love seeing his family hanging out. He’s there from early morning until late night and greets everyone with a smile and welcoming attitude. I am from San Diego and this restaurant reminds me of a lot of the Mexican restaurants down south. The food is very authentic and I love their salsa bar! The Cali burrito is delicious. Their breakfast burritos are delicious and affordable.“

Parking is going to be tough though. If you're lucky, you'll get a spot close to the store. Otherwise prepare for a bit of a walk. Worth it though!“

“First time here. The food was authentic Mexican. I had the sopes al pastor and my husband a giant torta. The chips are absolutely delicious and the salsas, as well. Very attentive service. This place serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Besides the Mexican food there’s an entire menu of burgers, etc. We will be back.“

And don't even get me started on the parking – it's like they're begging you to bring your entire crew. The price? Totally reasonable, not a single complaint. “Came to have dinner here with my family for the first time, as we came in through the back door the first thing we smelled was the restroom it was a bit unpleasant. I noticed the restaurant was a bit rundown. Floors and walls were dirty, it almost made me second guess if we should stay, however we decided to give it a try and the food was actually pretty good for the most part. My only complaint as far as the food goes is that the beans in the tacos de canasta were really dry.

“Fantastic hidden gem! Located in north long beach, this authentic Mexican restaurant is absolutely delicious. They have plenty of nostalgic dishes that you may remember a loved cooking for you. They have soups, tacos, and special dishes such as costillitas con nopales. I was left very much happily satisfied. Parking is a nightmare, they have a small lot. It is a mom and pop shop, so please keep that in mind when you arrive. Seating is extremely limited, but they have a couple chairs out front to ensure you're taken care of. Please tip if you can as I'm positive a place like this is not common anymore these days. The ladies who serve and take orders have the most cute uniforms and friendliest of service. Anything upon request!!! Please ask before you do. They have a specific seating order and will be happy to accommodate when you ask! Oh they do serve alcohol, beers and margaritas 😬“

“I recently had dental work done and needed some of the ingredients finely chopped. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. They listened to my needs and went above and beyond to fulfill them. I am very happy with the service. Now on to the food. The food tasted great and was very refreshing. I had a boss bowl with al pastor. They were able to chop everything up for me so I would have very minimal chewing. I'm glad I decided to try this place out for the first time. I missed eating delicious food. Looks like I found my go to place to eat when I get sick of this liquid diet.“
