“Amazing food that will Wow you 🥰“

“Randomly found this place and so glad I did. This just became my new burrito standard and I’ve been going to another place around the corner for literally 5 years. They have a bacon, sausage and egg burrito with potatoes and cheese that just rocked my world. It was perfectly portioned and every bite hit with all the flavors. They also give beans and chips for a breakfast burro which is a super nice touch. They gave red and green sauce-neither were too spicy, flavor was great compliment to the burrito. To top it all off the staff here was super nice, just the friendliness of the lady who took my order is enough for me to want to come back! Great job casita de amigos and I can’t wait to return!“

“If you're looking for fast food Mexican this is the place to go. Their food is authentic it's delicious it's affordable and they're servings are very generous. If you're looking for something a little higher class I would still recommend eating here I've been dozens of sit down Mexican restaurants and this restaurant's got better food than most of the other ones that are twice the price.“

“Great food, superfast and professional service and awesome salsa!!! This is fast food at it's best. Pollobowl, tacos al carbon, crunchy taco and the charbroiled chicken with rice and beans all hit the spot. Literally nothing was so-so, it was all great tasting. Service was attentive and to make it even better, we used a coupon and saved some bucks. Recommended if you like fresh food that is also nutritious.“

“Pleasantly surprised to have this experience of flavor, ambiance and service. We normally go to Nico’s or Marlena because of its consistency of flavor and location to home. Viaje is the equivalent and then some. The chef is from Mexico City and is the real deal. The food, starting off with the ceviche 9/10, ribeye appetizer 10/10, branzino 10/10 and then the dessert of the tres leches 10/10. Ok, so you don’t quite believe me, well, try 11/10 for the consume broth for the lamb appetizer!! David was our server recommended we just try the broth since we were so full. We were dipping tortilla chips into the broth like little kids it was so good!! It didn’t matter how full be were!

Food all came out timely and together nice and hot. It’s rare to have everything taste that good from start to finish. Price may be an obstacle for most, but doesn’t break the bank like a Michelin Star place. Viaje is one of those restaurants that need to stay on 2nd St…it is the very best on that strip if not all of Long Beach.“

“Definitely a fist class experience. My family and I are vacationing at Disney/California adv. from Utah. We wanted Mexican food and came across Sabor Chilango online. Saw the Guacamole appetizer and were sold! Well, the experience there is even better than the photo. Would give more stars if I could. Miguel Angel was top notch with his service. The food was unmatched. Will definitely eat there again!“

“I love Oscars, quality food and ingredients. Oscar is always super friendly and I love seeing his family hanging out. He’s there from early morning until late night and greets everyone with a smile and welcoming attitude. I am from San Diego and this restaurant reminds me of a lot of the Mexican restaurants down south. The food is very authentic and I love their salsa bar! The Cali burrito is delicious. Their breakfast burritos are delicious and affordable.“

“As you walk in birds chirp to welcome you in. I ordered the carne en su jugo, it was delicious. Born in Jalisco, and eating this dish at homemade, it definitely hits home! I also tried the red pork pozole and was ok for my standards,but for my American friend it was a 10. The bigest disappointment was the Tamale de Rajas ( cheese with jalapeño slices) it had no cheese, but had tomato, onion and jalapeño. I would not recommend it. Service was excellent, very clean establishment. Only recommendation is to offer a desert, like churro, flan or arroz con Leche. I would come back, I would like to try the albóndigas next time.“

“This place is SO good! I got the breakfast burrito and added cheese and avocado. Omg it was so big I had it for two meals. It was just as amazing for the second meal. Everyone that worked there was so nice, it had such a great family feel. A few customers came in while I was eating outside, and it was clear they were regulars - as i would be if I lived closer! Also, I dont eat meat and there were plenty of options!

There aren't any tables inside but there are a few outside with umbrellas if needed.“

The food is good the customer service is good I have no complaints I'm giving it a five-star review prices are excellent you can ask for more there's nothing fishy about it you need to get out and try something and if a place is good of course they're going to have all good reviews I feel sorry for you never seen a good place or tasted good Mexican food and I'm 100% Mexican so get out some try something new unless you're from another nearby restaurant trying to put a negative spin on something but don't revenge is excellent five stars for sure!“

It's a bit of a heavy meal because it's made with lardy beans and other deliciousness so not a regular place for me to eat but it's fantastic when I break down and want some comfort food“

“First time here. The food was authentic Mexican. I had the sopes al pastor and my husband a giant torta. The chips are absolutely delicious and the salsas, as well. Very attentive service. This place serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Besides the Mexican food there’s an entire menu of burgers, etc. We will be back.“

“Fantastic hidden gem! Located in north long beach, this authentic Mexican restaurant is absolutely delicious. They have plenty of nostalgic dishes that you may remember a loved cooking for you. They have soups, tacos, and special dishes such as costillitas con nopales. I was left very much happily satisfied. Parking is a nightmare, they have a small lot. It is a mom and pop shop, so please keep that in mind when you arrive. Seating is extremely limited, but they have a couple chairs out front to ensure you're taken care of. Please tip if you can as I'm positive a place like this is not common anymore these days. The ladies who serve and take orders have the most cute uniforms and friendliest of service. Anything upon request!!! Please ask before you do. They have a specific seating order and will be happy to accommodate when you ask! Oh they do serve alcohol, beers and margaritas 😬“

“Good food here! The cheese enchilada was the best I’ve had in this area, the beans were very good too. I thought the beef tamale was good but not exceptional. The sauce that covered the tamale and enchilada was very good! The chips and salsa were tasty but not very spicy.“

“Came to have dinner here with my family for the first time, as we came in through the back door the first thing we smelled was the restroom it was a bit unpleasant. I noticed the restaurant was a bit rundown. Floors and walls were dirty, it almost made me second guess if we should stay, however we decided to give it a try and the food was actually pretty good for the most part. My only complaint as far as the food goes is that the beans in the tacos de canasta were really dry.

I ended up taking the tacos home and still couldn't finish dessert.“
