“The one person that was on staff was slammed. Multiple "party orders", shame on manager to be short staffing a day that is big for them. I am aware there is a major labor shortage, but companies are getting through it without sacrificing employees they have. Anyway, she did great. Was very apologetic, I assured her it wasn't a big deal. Another man did as well, who was there to get his party platter. Being nice to one another, or just not being a tool, can change things quickly into a positive environment. Be kind.“

“Everything great deli should be. I work 5 minutes down the road from this place and had never eaten there until this week. Now, I’ll be frequenting it because it was so yummy. They have SO many delicious and creative sandwich options. And they are very accommodating and allow you to customize anything to your liking. And the staff is super nice. Our cashier was so helpful when placing our order - she listened to what I wanted and steered me towards the perfect sandwich. And it was super delicious - I got the hot pastrami on a roll with Swiss, mustard, and pickles. One of the best pastrami sandwiches I’ve ever had!!! Can’t wait to go back!!!“

“Beach Hut Deli is a gem! My husband and I stopped by and were blown away by the food and service. I had the Beach BBQ, which was packed with meat, fixins’, and flavor, and my husband loved his Sipcolli. We also shared the Beach Bites, which were a tasty addition. Be warned, we were unable to finish the Bites because our sandwiches were so loaded.

The customer service elevated the experience. My husband originally ordered the Beach Meatball, but they were running low on meatballs. Instead of disappointing us, they upgraded his sandwich to the Sipcolli at no extra charge.
The staff was friendly, the place was spotless, and the vibe was welcoming.

“Growing up outside Philadelphia, I’m always on the hunt for authentic Philly cheese steaks. John’s has excellent cheese steaks and has been a Huntington Beach favorite for decades. The bread is amazing and baked locally which is a key ingredient to simply amazing sandwiches! They stuff a lot of meat and cheese and peppers and onions in there, and the result makes ya wanna shout, “Go Birds!” Someone will probably shout it back, too. If you like cheese steaks, yeah, get em the way ya like them at John’s!“

“Joe's is simply a great little sandwich and deli shop with affordable prices, kind service, and good food. I've tried a few different items here and always enjoyed the sandwiches.

A few of my favorites are the Walnut Chicken Sandwich, Jalapeño Chicken, Jalapeño Tuna, and Cranberry Turkey. The sandwiches are filled with fresh ingredients, and the sourdough and squaw are my go-to bread choices. The combos include a drink and chips. Salads are also available.

I usually come in for lunch with little to no waiting. There are a few tables to dine at, but I typically take my order to go.

They never make me feel rushed, and they always give me whatever condiments I need even if I ask for extra sauces or something small like gloves. They don’t act annoyed or anything, they just do it with a smile.

The sandwiches I've tried are tasty (vegetarian, ham & cheese, pastrami) and the chicken noodle soup (don't sleep on it) gives me life when I'm sick. When I asked him for an extra scoop of tuna, he told me it would cost extra, and I got annoyed because it looked too little. “It’s like an Oasis in an industrial desert; serving affordable large deli sandwiches, soups,chips and cookies.

Took a family adventure on the bus today to take my son to his ABA therapy and on our way back my younger daughter needed a bathroom.

To our luck it was a little after 2:40 and the sandwich box was open until 3:00pm and right next to our bus stop.

So we stopped in for the bathroom and I noticed they have a robust menu and a very clean kitchen and dining room.

The prices are affordable and the sandwiches are large.
Both of my Daughters filled up on half a sandwich each. My youngest daughter says she gives it 10 stars and wants to come back for some soup.“

“Whenever I am nearby for work, I make this place my go to place for lunch. The prices are great for the quality of food I get. While I am a sucker for a great sandwich, their breakfast menu is well deserving of praise as well. I've already introduced this place to several co-workers who already know whenever I am in town, this is the place we will go to. The staff was warm and welcoming. The seating area is inside, so it helps on those hot days. I look forward to trying a burger one of these days.“

The Banh Mi sandwiches are on the lighter side when it comes to the meat compared to other places, but $6-$8 for a foot long sandwich, I'm not complaining. The meat is just the right amount. The flavors are also good, and the sandwich selection is simple. It's not gourmet compared to other Banh Mi places in the area. However, it makes up for it's reliable service, quality, affordability and flavors.“

“This is the OG spot. Been coming to Philly’s Best for more than 20 years and have a lot of great memories especially at this location! Went to a different one today and they didn’t have the pepper/pickle bar, didn’t serve beer, and no condiments at the tables like this place does.

Not making that mistake again, this was the first Phillys Best where the chain was born and it’s still the best

The sandwich was clearly sourced with care, and nothing felt processed or artificial. I loved how my meal was bursting with flavor.

“Judging by the location, the emptiness of the place, and the quietness of the kitchen, I couldn't help but assume that this restaurant doesn't get much attention.

I still gave it a try. The lady who took my order was really sweet, and her reccomendation of a BLT was spot-on. I waited no longer than 5 minutes for my sandwich, if that. The bread was the real star-I had the softest, tastiest multigrain bread I've ever eaten in my entire life.

The thing about this place is that it's surrounded by soulless, corporate buildings on all sides. It's hidden behind a bank and shares a parking lot with corporate offices. I doubt anyone in the area is actually looking for food, which is the sad part. The quality of the food I had was on-par with many chains that do well purely due to the location.

I will be reccomending this place to anyone in the area. I hope it builds a name for itself to overcome the crappy location.
