“Don't let the parking lot fool you- this place is AWESOME inside!
They have a LARGE selection of ingredients to choose from for your hot pot as well as fruit, cake and freshly made ice cream for dessert. Drinks are included in the buffet price.
Staff are very friendly and helpful and explain things well. This was important for us as we had never been to a hot pot place before so we had no idea what to do😂.
They are open 7 days a week with lunch and dinner buffet. Call for hours and prices. We had lunch on a monday and before tip for 2 of us it was $44.95.

“I spent a few weeks in Xinjiang a million years ago and ate laghman -- the Uyghur's national dish -- two or three times a day. Loved it loved it loved it. Hadn't had any in over 25 years, then recently moved to the area and saw that downtown Menlo Park had a Uyghur place. Woo hoo!
The noodles and sauce are perfect. (The meat is surprisingly low-quality so I ask for it without the meat and just get some flank steak slicked up for stir-fry at Whole Foods and cook that up at home to add.) The portion is generous and the dish keeps well in the fridge for a few days.“

“Had lunch here yesterday while passing through the area, the mushroom pide was out of this world. The pastry/crust was unbelievably fresh and the flavor was delicious! Our server Umut was super friendly and attentive. Positive experience all around!“

Their Chapli Kabab is a standout—juicy, perfectly spiced, and cooked to perfection. Paired with their soft, fluffy plain naan, it’s a combo that hits the spot every time. You can tell they put real care into their recipes.
The service is friendly and efficient, even during busy hours. It gets packed, especially around lunch, but the food is always worth the wait.

“This place literally has the best salads ever. They’re consistently fresh with their ingredients & so tasty every time! We usually order in for work & i always rave about them. My coworkers love them too! Huge plus since they have halal chicken. My favorite is the cali-ceezer.“

“Ever since I walked into this restaurant, I instantly fell in love. The clean, healthy, tasty, perfectly portioned sized, and masterly prepared dishes by Ali, and his friendly staff, keep me coming back. My new favorites are the lentil soup, and lamb shank (limited menu special). Satisfying food experience I highly recommend.“

“New Tandoori Cafe is an excellent restaurant with spicy food and delicious meals.
We ordered fries and non-spicy aloo paratha. When we received the order, my kids tasted the paratha and they said it was very spicy, which we had specifically asked not for. My kids can tolerate a good amount of spice, so this was clearly spicier than asked for.
Other than that, we ordered multiple meals from New Tandoori Cafe and they were all great.
I would recommend this restaurant to people who enjoy spicy foods.“

“My family and I are fans of their services. They offer exceptional halal pizza, perfect for a variety of events. Every time I’ve brought their pizza to an event, it has been a huge hit—guests always rave about it and ask where it’s from. Their customer service is truly outstanding. On one occasion, when my baby was asleep in the car and I couldn’t step out, they kindly brought the pizza directly to my car. Their helpfulness and consideration left a lasting impression.“

“I've eaten at Halal Fried Chicken a number of times and I can easily say I love this place. The options they have are delicious(my personal favorite is hot chicken 🍗 and chicken popcorn They have other options on the menu along with specia the location. Services is very friendly. This place is a definite must try.“

“Always great food, welcoming host / staff creating a nice vibe and atmosphere. Standard South Indian food options, with good dosas and Idlis, fantastic medhuvada. The paneer quality is also really nice as it's really soft, unlike so many other places.“
