“I don't know alot about the SAJJ brand, but I wanted to try this menu choice at Local Kitchens in Cupertino. The "Chicken Shawarma (BYO) Bowl" looked like an interesting way to make a salad. Menu says "Juicy chicken thighs marinated in house spice blend and grilled to perfection." Well, that certainly sounds good. Here's what I did....Chicken BYO-salad base with greens, tomato-cucumber, pickles, avocado, hummus and Tahini. Didn't need dressing, you put all that together, it's going to taste good! And it did! Delicious chicken bowl!I ordered for pickup using the Local Kitchens App. Ready timer on the app said 15-20 mins. It was ready in 20-mins, went inside and they handed it to me. Hey, you want to save $$$? Here's a tip: pickup your own food and use the Local Kitchens App. Why? If you pickup your own order, you don't pay delivery fees. Doordash charges more than the Local Kitchens app for the same menu item. I always do this! When you pick it up yourself, the food is hot and fresh.BTW, this isn't an actual SAJJ restaurant. This location is Local Kitchens @ Cupertino, a micro-food hall. The staff cooks the food onsite, and duplicates the recipes. This location is near Stevens Creek Blvd & Hwy 85. “I've been going here every since it opened up, and it is my go-to for halal pizza! Ingredients are fresh, bread/crust is delicious, and the owners are very friendly. Plus, there burger and pasta options are good, as well. Highly recommend!“
“This is a superb Mediterranean restaurant in Palo Alto. The food, service, and the ambience are all very nice. For appetizers, we ordered the eggplant which was incredibly flavorful, although a bit on the heavy side. For my main dish I ordered house combo plate, which came with a combination of chicken kebab, beef kebab, lamb and beef gyros, served with rice and a salad. Surprisingly, the chicken kebab were the best ones -- just amazing flavors, although I pretty much enjoyed everything. Very polite and courteous staff -- a definite place to return to.“

“My wife and I stopped by El Halal Amigos because 1) I had it bookmarked from Yelp reviews 2) Rave review from one of the baker's at Susiecakes bakery. As we were walking over, we thought, "Oh, this replaced the burger place." Outdoor and indoor seating available. Upbeat and fast tempo house music playing. Nicely and festive decorations. Service was super friendly and nice. You order at the front, get your number, and they will bring your food to your table. Birria Nar-Chos: Nachos, Birria Meat, Nacho Cheese, Chips, Pico De Gallo, Sour Cream, Jalapenos, Nar Sauce. Pretty good portion size and the amount of meat is pretty good. The birria meat is tender and moist. A shareable meal! Burrito Super: Choice of filling, pinto or black beans, spanish rice, pico de gallo, shredded cheese, crema & guacamole. We also got the birria meat. This was a tasty burrito.“
“A little hidden GEM!! The food was so delicious, soup and dishes had so much flavour, it was mouth watering. Turkish coffee was such a delight and the bread was sooo good. “Excellent experience with Via Mia! We ordered delivery for 6 family-sized pizzas for a student event, and each one was a hit -- the flavoring was great, and our students loved the variety of halal options! We had barely any pizza leftover. Also had great customer service experience; they were very patient with the large order and delivery radius, and the delivery person themselves was very kind in offering to help carry the large order to the venue (even though parking was difficult). Overall great service and food -- will definitely be recommending to others and ordering from here again for future events.“
