“Came here cause it was close to the Greek Theatre and they had a special to who I went to go see (Djo) and it was sooo good. Theres a public parking right around the corner, the food was ready pretty quick, fresh seats outside, and delicious burger and curly fries. I’m coming here again if I’m ever in the area.“

“Known for their grassfed beef burger. They offer $14 vegan option but no vegan cheese. The mayo has no dairy but does have eggs. Everyone enjoyed their $12 grassfed beef and $14-$15 Ruben or patty melt sandwich options. $5 Curry fries was nice. They do have 1 restroom, no mirror. They offer a water station on the side with disposable paper cups.

Patio bar top seating are good for individual to couples eating there. A party of 4 like us could be a bit disruptive when sitting on both sides.“

“I stopped by Amboy Burgers after coming to Union Station on the Greyhound from San Diego. The place had a small line outside but it moved quickly. Since it was my first time, I ordered the classic Amboy burger with yellow peppers, and went to sit at a table outside.

I was en route to LAX and realized my phone battery was quite low. I asked the clerk if I could charge my phone for a bit and he graciously plugged me in behind the counter. The burger itself was really good. It tasted like what I’d call a crossover of In-N-Out and a hole-in-the-wall smashburger spot. The meat was super flavorful, though, and the bun was quite good too.

The only downside is that it was like ~$18 after tax for a fairly small burger. But, I realize this is Los Angeles in 2026, so I let it slide and not interfere with my interpretation of the burger. Plus, the willingness to let me charge was really nice.“

“AMAZING FRIES, they are not crunchy, more the pan fried one and they are cooked at perfection, with their salt and pepper are to die for. O reminded me of mu grandma’s frie. The burger was very food too, order the double tho, the single is too small meat for ratio bun-meat. I would definitely come back and being friends“

“I waited a year to come here from the east coast, and it was worth the wait. From the food to the atmosphere, I felt like I was in another dimension with the unique take on regional cooking styles to the sound quality of the music. You could taste the freshness in the ingredients — even the cheese in the dessert was clearly homemade and freshly made. This is such a unique and special place. Thank you for a wonderful experience. “The burgers are flavorful and tasty. The ingredients are fresh, and the meat is of excellent quality. The meat is so tender that it virtually melts in your mouth, and the sauce adds to the flavor. Juicy and slightly pink in the middle, there was nothing that I did not like. This is the place to go if you're looking for a great burger in LA. P.S: "First Light Farms" provides their beef, which is certified humane, halal, and free of antibiotics, GMOs, and hormones (a New Zealand meat company).“

“This burger place is a great spot for a quick, satisfying bite. I ordered the Classic Double with cheese, and it was juicy, well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The fries were also hot and crispy, service was fast and the casual vibe makes it ideal for a relaxed lunch or late bite.“

“Occupying space next to Vons with big dining space and plenty of parking. Simple seats with no fancy design, but comfy enough. They closed quite early in the evening but opened from lunch time.

They did provide self order kiosk but you could also order in person.

BTC itself represented what they offered, Burger Chicken and Taco. All dishes had Korean touch so we certainly got their Korean Fried Chicken in Spicy Korean sauce. We loved that the portion was great for the price and the sauce was finger lickin’ good. Wish the meat could be juicier, but still pretty decent!

We tried some of the tacos including Beef Bulgogi and Spicy Beef Rib. They were probably pricier at $6, but taste were luscious! Both were flavorful and great in their own way and toppings were plenty here. I wasn’t that much into their tortilla, but could compensate that it wasn’t their expertise. The seasoning certainly was the highlight.“

“The owner is amazing! Customer service a 10! Her personality was everything! The wings were so good we got the buffalo flavor. Can’t wait to come back and try the Backyard burger (onion rings, candied bacon, smoked Gouda, and bbq sauce). But we also had the frozen margarita I had mango best had strawberry! She gave us a free guava one. One word FADED.“

“A classic diner specializing in burgers, tuna melts, and BLT. Great sandwiches and burgers, quality is great and the vibe is a welcoming.

Their omelets could use a bit more work, but overall, would go again for a good classic diner sandwich. Great service, would recommend for lunch!“

“Irv's Original with a side of onion rings was delicious. The burger patty was smashed and crisp on the edges. The onion rings were perfectly fried and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Their house made sauces compliment the food well. 10/10“

“I was comparing several companies for a charcuterie board for a Christmas dinner and decided on Marvelous Creations - and it was the perfect choice. The service was excellent, and the board was beautifully crafted. The cheeses and meats were fresh and delicious, and delivery was seamless and right on time. My guests absolutely loved it! “Oh boy!!!! That hot dog with onions chili and pastrami!!!!!! Fire!!!!! Those onions are incredible sabrett onions were never that good. I had the salmon burger with onions the onions took over the burger but it was still good next time no cooked onions. The chicken patty has good flavor just wanted more filling. The beef pattie was ok. The fries were decent I would get them more well done next time... but can we please gst back to this hot dog creation and that salmon burger!!!! I will be back before i head to the airport for those for sure and the chicken patty!“

“Chick & Burger nailed the flavor but left me wishing for a little more. This is a small business with heart, and the woman who took my order was kind and welcoming. I genuinely hope they thrive. I’d also encourage the owners to engage with their Google reviews and hear the feedback, because it’s clear people want them to succeed. The food is already delicious, and with a few thoughtful tweaks, they could easily be a five star spot.

The fried chicken sandwich was a standout. Juicy, tender, full of flavor, and balanced perfectly with honey butter and light mayo. The bun held up, and the whole thing felt intentional, like someone cooked it with care. Honestly, one of the best chickens I’ve had anywhere. The bibimbap was also clean and comforting, no strange flavors, just solid balance. But the portion was small. I got both dishes thinking I’d have lunch and dinner, and ended up finishing the bibimbap quickly because there weren’t enough vegetables to round it out. For a dish that usually shines because of its mix and volume, that part felt underwhelming.

The meal came to $35.01 for take out, which isn’t bad for the quality, but the value didn’t fully match the flavor. A little more generosity with the portions, especially the vegetables or the slaw in the sandwich, would make a real difference. Still, the care shows, and I’d come back for that chicken in a heartbeat.“

“I finally decided to check this place out. They were already closed, but it’s really nice lady was outside. She said they’re doing work on the restaurant so they’re having to close early certain days so I decided to come back today and try it out. I got here too late to have any breakfast but they still serve their breakfast burrito all day and there’s a there’s a variety of breakfast burrito. I’m not usually in the mood for breakfast burrito, but I’ll probably get around to trying at least one of them I got the steak sandwich and the meat is good quality and not tough as she described. I like the Fry’s being seasoned but I don’t like them is so crunchy so I’ll ask for them to cook them more soft than crunchy next time. It’s nice that I found another good place to eat where the people treat you good. I got the combo that included a drink and I was so delighted to see that they have the fuse raspberry iced tea that I love and with the combo you get a choice of either a salad or fries check the salad out next time the steak sandwich is delicious.

I love pancakes, and the ones that they serve here are probably the best ones that I’ve tried. I’m particular about where I eat and the service.
I appreciate it that Effie took half a second to greet me warmly and asked me how am I doing when I got in line while she was busy taking the orders from that line of people. I’ve been noticing that same friendliness in all of the other workers.“

“Maaaaan if the burgers and fries didn’t hit as hard as they do, I’d say just pass on it but in complete honesty, they make delicious greasy spoon munchies. It’s literally just a walk-up counter, but they’re local favorites for a reason.

Downsides include how early they close, limited street parking, cold customer service (at times condescending), no dine-in service, horrible atmosphere since there’s no safe space for people to wait for their orders. Lastly, I think their prices are a bit too high for this area/financial climate… in my opinion of course.

Funny thing is, their food overshadows ALL THIS. 😩 It’s so good and I crave it often. Wish they’d be open later 👀😔😒“

“I never knew I needed this kind of food in my life. The flavors here are awesome. It's American crosses with japanese and left me searching for how to make these delicious taste at my own house. They have numerous different kind of sauces all of them are unique and tasty in their own way. For dessert had a chocolate avocado shake. I had no clue those flavors worked together but it was fantastic. I got to enjoy all this while drinking a beer and watching Thursday night football! Chef Carlos is the man!“
