“This is my first time at Hillhurst & Avocado location and wow!! The atmosphere is one of the best of all locations. Optimal and comfortable seating and open floor plan that feels inviting and not crowded. I had the pleasure of being served by Leslie today, she was so kind and welcoming. I ordered the PSL and she delivered!!! The best latte I’ve EVER had at a Starbucks. Thank you Leslie for your care and kindness, literally the only reason I will be returning!“

“Not my usual review for a corporate coffee chain that everyone knows about, but the Chinatown location is interesting enough to mention. Catering possible Metro bus commuters just adjacent to DTLA and maybe to some of the residents in Chinatown, this location is small and often overlooked for a quiet place for coffee and maybe a break. Tables are few, but most hours are rather light with patrons. Parking is also easily found inside the Jia Apartments with the entrance north along Broadway closer to Ord Street. If the parking arm is down, SB will validate two hours.“

The team who was working today greeted me with a smile, Was attentive, and warm. They also had a worker who is wearing a hat who stood in front of the counter, handing out everyone’s order, which I thought was more personal. I will for sure be returning to this location“

“Very friendly employees not horribly crowded at 530 to 7am but you do have to put up with a completely unjustified security company in parking lot that will not let you enter parking lot until EXACTLY the second he feels like it which hurts the business by making customers park way down a hill walk up parking lot in dark on a hill then get your coffee for no reason“

This Starbucks location was a memorable stop on our road trip back from Hollywood Hills to Las Vegas. Among us was my second youngest cousin visiting from London, experiencing America for the very first time and he had one small wish: to try the famous Starbucks Mocha Chocolate Chip Frappuccino he’d only ever seen on YouTube and heard about from friends.

When he took that first sip, his eyes lit up. It was one of those simple yet heartwarming moments watching him finally experience something he had always been curious about. That drink wasn’t just a treat; it was a little American dream come true for him.

The store itself had a warm and welcoming vibe. The baristas were kind and efficient, and despite the casual rush, the service was smooth. The store was clean, the energy was relaxed, and it gave us a comfortable break before we continued our journey to Vegas.

This Starbucks may just be one of many, but for my cousin from london, it became a memorable milestone proof that even the smallest stops can make the biggest memories.

“What an amazing experience. The people were so nice and graceful. The very polite young lady made me my drink in no time. The music was cool. My best experience in L.A. was at this Star Bucks.

“So first, allow me to say that I don't drink the foo foo concoctions, just coffee, latte, or a flat white, so I'm not reviewing them. The coffee at all Starbucks locations is consistently mediocre; not great, not awful. The latte is good, the flat white, my favorite, is terrific, and the customer service is consistently excellent. The train station is right across the street, so it's super convenient when I'm on the go. Not much in the way of ambiance; they've removed all of the seating so it's just grab and go. Starbucks is where I go for a caffeine fix, but if I have time, there are a few other options a bit further away that I prefer, where I can sit and relax with a really good cup of joe, latte, or for an extra special treat, the flat white.“

“Very nice Starbucks location in West L.A. in the Palms area right off the I-10 freeway at Overland Avenue. I decided to stop by since I was on my way to Jefferson Park for Ciclovia coming from Westwood. I wanted to get my usual halfway through my ride and Google maps reminded me that this was a location I had never visited after riding past it many times. I will definitely go back as this is around some of my favorite hang outs when I'm in West L.A. There is no drive through or a dine in but you can always stand and drink/snack nearby.“

This Starbucks is strictly drive-thru only, located in a busy shopping area with lots of stores around. Traffic was heavy during my visit, and the line at the drive-thru was long. The layout was a bit confusing since the parking lot is one-way, making it tricky to navigate and get in line properly. There's no indoor seating, so it's ideal only if you're grabbing coffee on the go. Just be prepared for some wait time and tight maneuvering, especially during peak hours.“

“I enjoy checking out local coffee shops wherever I go and decided to give this place a visit since it was close to my work. Service was outstanding that followed Covid precautions. Ordered a Vanilla latte which was on point with its ratio of syrup and expresso.“
