“This is my first time at Hillhurst & Avocado location and wow!! The atmosphere is one of the best of all locations. Optimal and comfortable seating and open floor plan that feels inviting and not crowded. I had the pleasure of being served by Leslie today, she was so kind and welcoming. I ordered the PSL and she delivered!!! The best latte I’ve EVER had at a Starbucks. Thank you Leslie for your care and kindness, literally the only reason I will be returning!“

This starbucks doesn't have much sittings available, I recommend the preorder and walk over method. Unless you like to hang out in store and people watch as you wait for your drink.“

“What an amazing experience. The people were so nice and graceful. The very polite young lady made me my drink in no time. The music was cool. My best experience in L.A. was at this Star Bucks.

They even had some Star Wars themed drinks. Kinda cool if you ask me.

“First of all, when did Starbucks stop adding an extra charge to oat milk? I was pleasantly surprised that I didn’t have to pay an extra dollar for milk!

“Very nice Starbucks location in West L.A. in the Palms area right off the I-10 freeway at Overland Avenue. I decided to stop by since I was on my way to Jefferson Park for Ciclovia coming from Westwood. I wanted to get my usual halfway through my ride and Google maps reminded me that this was a location I had never visited after riding past it many times. I will definitely go back as this is around some of my favorite hang outs when I'm in West L.A. There is no drive through or a dine in but you can always stand and drink/snack nearby.“

Other Starbucks don't make them quite as good so I take the extra time to walk here rather then order delivery from random Starbucks. I always take out but it's nice inside they just remodeled. “So first, allow me to say that I don't drink the foo foo concoctions, just coffee, latte, or a flat white, so I'm not reviewing them. The coffee at all Starbucks locations is consistently mediocre; not great, not awful. The latte is good, the flat white, my favorite, is terrific, and the customer service is consistently excellent. The train station is right across the street, so it's super convenient when I'm on the go. Not much in the way of ambiance; they've removed all of the seating so it's just grab and go. “I went to Starbucks on 6th and Grand.My friend and I had our coffees both as just simple medium roast but they put them both into ceramic mugs which in my opinion made a simple cup of coffee a lot more nice.We were told that that way,we could have refills.Small round tables inside the store and nice old fashioned music from the twenties made getting two simple cups of coffee a more enjoyable experience.Later in the afternoon,we both returned to that same Starbucks for more coffee and an enjoyable atmosphere with which to enjoy them.I look forward to going to this Starbucks because in my opinion,it is a nice place to go to gather and meet up with someone to have a cup of coffee or some coffee cakes.“

This Starbucks location was a memorable stop on our road trip back from Hollywood Hills to Las Vegas. Among us was my second youngest cousin visiting from London, experiencing America for the very first time and he had one small wish: to try the famous Starbucks Mocha Chocolate Chip Frappuccino he’d only ever seen on YouTube and heard about from friends.

When he took that first sip, his eyes lit up. It was one of those simple yet heartwarming moments watching him finally experience something he had always been curious about. That drink wasn’t just a treat; it was a little American dream come true for him.

The store itself had a warm and welcoming vibe. The baristas were kind and efficient, and despite the casual rush, the service was smooth. The store was clean, the energy was relaxed, and it gave us a comfortable break before we continued our journey to Vegas.

This Starbucks may just be one of many, but for my cousin from london, it became a memorable milestone proof that even the smallest stops can make the biggest memories.

I had a Strawberry Cream Frappuccino, and it tasted like compressed strawberry cream, but it tasted really fattening. (It's just that it's delicious.) It's one of the few stores in LA that offers dine-in!! The staff were also very friendly!“

“I really like this Starbucks since it's so close to my job when I come into the office. Always super quick, everyone is really nice too! It definitely gets busy in the morning and lunch since everyone is either going into work or at lunch but they always are quick despite that :).

I like that recently they started writing on cups and I really like that touch. I like the one with the animals on them. This is the second one I've gotten, the first one was similar to the one shown.

“This Starbucks has a real local feel- the workers greet everyone with a smile and for those who come regularly one can see the connection. This location offers side tables to work at and even have a conference room for groups to reserve and use.
All walks of life come in and get their fix- now with the mug offer one can enjoy a hot coffee made to order and free refills. The dogs also appreciate the pup cups served in different sizes too.

“I just want to say that over the last 6+ years I have had so many terrible experiences at this location. However, that seems to have changed. The employees (although some are original) are excellent. They say hello when you walk in (which isn’t necessary imo) but it makes you feel welcomed. They are attentive, they smile, and the genuinely seem to get along which I’m sure helps the work atmosphere and of course how that translates to the customers. I always went back because I like Starbucks so it was sad getting an attitude from old employees who wouldn’t even look at you, they talked back to you and about you. “A smaller Starbucks but the young ladies that work the weekend (Saturday morning) are awesome! I’ve always had issues with baristas pouring Nitro with too much foam. The baristas here did it right. Along with that, my teen said their drink was amazing. Seating area was clean and everyone was very friendly. Will return for coffee needs when we are in the area.“
