Starbucks in Pasadena

“Right next door to my place of honest labour at Air-Tech stands a most excellent Starbucks, whose attendants do serve with great courtesy and speed. Each time I enter, they craft the perfect cup of coffee with swift and unfailing skill — and upon the cup itself they inscribe friendly, inspirational notes that warm the heart as much as the brew itself. A true comfort to the working man; five stars do I give without hesitation!“

“I came here last Monday 2/9 around 6 pm to do some work. I just wanted to give a shoutout to three ladies who were working then - all of them were so kind and friendly. It seriously made my day! Coffee was standard Starbucks coffee but the service was truly exceptional!“

“Correct ur phone # !!!!! It shows the old ph# , when u were across the street AND still shows it on ur receipts !!! ( i have tried calling few times , always busy , but i knew it was probably the old # , becuz its been busy for days ) I went the other day , becuz my Oat Brown Sugar espresso drink was made wrong (Teacher appreciation drink parents got us all a drink from Starbucks ) not ur Starbucks but ur close to me. Anyway , the worker was nice and made it perfect. I forgot to get her name !!! ( so if i ever go back , she can make one again like she made ) :) I explained to her i really don't like any ice in it ( but i know they say ) it has to be made w ice. She said she can make w no ice , but it will have more milk ?? I showed her how much ice ( very little ) and maybe extra espresso shots ( not sure she added extra tho ) , and extra brown sugar and cinnamon. She said it mite taste like briwn sugar & cinnamon then. I said it's ok. Honestly they DO NOT put enough coffee/espresso in the drinks , but i prefer to be able to taste the brown sugar and cinnamon too. The drink i got at work was like watered down milk. I don't think they had put ice but still no flavor at all !!!! ( and i get to work at 2 pm) and my drink was in the staff lounge. Common sense to put mine in a fridge , but no one did. But thanks to this worker here , she made it how i like it !!!!“

“Pleasantly surprised to see such a positive change to this location. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I love the little notes they write on the cups, which truly bring a smile to my face. I had noticed that actual dining ware was being used for others requesting to have their coffee and meal to stay. I've never seen this before at other Starbucks location but actually using a physical mug rather than a paper cut really elevates the experience. It makes this starbucks much more comfortable and enjoyable to stay at.“

“I really like to support the little guy - especially when it comes to one of my favorite things - coffee. The little guys present great coffee but Starbucks is reliable and has perfected coffee the way McDonalds perfected fast food. Buy coffee at ANY Starbucks and its consistently the same at every location. Another thing Starbucks got right - they have drive thru locations near freeway on ramps so I can always find a coffee when I'm in a hurry. Been going to this locations for years and even though this locale doesn't have drive thru it was fast and my drink was perfect. I was in a hurry but it took less than ten minutes out of my trip. “I love the service at Starbucks. Customer service is great. This is my go-to specialty coffee shop. They even make a tea for times when you may feel sick. Flu bomb.Hot Caramel macchiato whip upside down. Warmed pumpkin loaf.

“This particular Starbucks truly felt like home. There was lots of parking. I was greeted by three employees when I walked in the door and all of them had a smile. The barista that assisted me was very helpful in terms of helping me decide on a drink that met my dietary restrictions. One of the best experiences I've had at Starbucks in a long time!“

“At the start was sad they would renovate this location. We loved the leather chair in the corner, worn in and full of character.
But now there are many beautiful Italian leather chairs, way more seating than before. Wonderful upgrade.“

“This Starbucks is located in the large Vons Market at 2355 East Colorado Boulevard Pasadena California. It is a great location for this coffee shop. When you first walk into the Vons entrance by the elevator, Starbucks is located to your right. There is a nice counter with staff making your choice of coffees. There is also a display of bagged coffee both whole bean and ground available in the surrounding area. When I was there the staff was very helpful and friendly, making suggestions about different coffee drinks. There was one person taking orders and another person making the drinks. I was able to order a seasonal coffee to have at one of the tables in the surrounding area. It's nice to have a place to sit and figure out what you might want to add to your grocery list as you enjoy your coffee. I was also able to pick up a pound of a nice dark roast to take home. I still have a Starbucks card and was able to use it at this location. I also was able to add some more money on the card. The atmosphere is coffee-centric as you sit facing the counter. The aroma of fresh coffee permeates the area. I believe they have an outside patio where you can enjoy the fresh air as you drink your coffee. Parking is easy because of the large Vons parking lot, although it can be busy depending upon the time of day. This is a great location for Starbucks.“

“The staff here is normally nice and welcoming accepted for one peculiar female her demeanor is always rude and angry looking and very disrespectful I almost hate coming here now if I have to deal with her (Jas) i thought maybe she was having a bad day but its each time I come through there shes very negative vibe and im not the only one feel like that willy said it in is comment. She did it today in drive through around 4:36pm. I'm a paying customer who should not have to deal with someone in a bad mood or just unhappy it needs to be address or I just have to find another starbucks im not going to allow that kind of treatment her name is JAS“

“This Starbucks location is a solid choice. The layout is more of a really long hallway so indoor seating with tables is only set to one side. The table closest to the entrance near the mobile pick-up area is the largest one, which I believe is the only one that has an outlet. Every staff member was super nice and welcoming. They greet every patron that walks in, handle impatient customers efficiently and professionally, and genuinely come off charismatic. They regularly check the bathroom if it needs attention, the inventory if anything needs replensihed, and make sure tables/chairs are clean for the next person. The team there has something special it almost gives me FOMO that I'm not working there with them. I was there for over 5 hours getting work done on a Sunday and not once did they make me feel judged or unwanted. I look forward to going back, particularly when libraries are closed. “It was three people waiting in line one guy was busy worrying about stocking coffee out on the center of the store while the other girl that was working there was doing all the work including the mobile orders and the people that walked up. He should have stopped and helped serve the people that were waiting in line or helped her. I was just kind of annoyed that he just walked by everybody took care of his stuff out there loading up the front of the store instead of helping getting those three customers served. If I was a manager there I'll be writing that person up for not helping getting the customer served rather than stocking the shelf.“

“Got the caramel ribbon crunch frap. I asked what the crunch is. They said caramel. I say pretty much, but better! More like after dinner Mexican cookies which are brown sugar and butter melted to just barely caramel but still with sugar crumble texture. So, a hint of butter that is nice.“

“This Starbucks on Colorado Blvd in Pasadena really stands out because it’s located on one of the cleanest and most well-kept streets in the area. The environment feels calm and organized, and everything inside is neatly displayed. The staff are low-key but genuinely friendly, not overly busy or chaotic like other locations. It’s also less crowded, and they always get the drinks right. Definitely one of the better Starbucks experiences around.“

“I like to come here every Friday morning as my end of the work week treat. I have my usual drinks that I order (Pumpkin Spice Latte during fall and Matcha Green Tea Latte) but every now and then I like to try other things. So far, every drink I've ordered is great! The morning staff, Yoseph and Jerry, are friendly, quick and consistent.“

“This Starbucks is right by the Pasadena Convention Center and has a bit of a hidden bonus — there’s a large hall next door where you can also sit and drink your coffee, so seating feels almost unlimited. Definitely a plus if you’re visiting during an event.

The coffee was good, and we went with oat milk, since we were told Starbucks soy milk comes with sugar and vanilla by default. Staff seemed a bit over it when we came through — maybe they weren’t expecting a rush — but we got what we needed.

“Today, I just wanted a water, being it was hot and intolerable weather outside. Also, it was for my little man needing water for his meds. I had forgotten to purchase water, and decided to go get water from Star$$ last minute.

Anyhow, I was in a rush. The barista, he was tired but helped me out. I couldn't make out his name tag (Jackson?), but I am giving props to him. He gave me a 26 oz cup of ice (filled to the top as I had requested) and water. He did this as quick as he could and was polite. Normally, we just get a tiny cup, but today, I am blessed that Jackson can read my mind in this extremely hot weather to give me a nice cold cup of water. Many many thanks. And bless you for reading my mind! Hope that whatever you are going through will be resolved. Very very grateful to him! ?“
