“Pailin Thai Cuisine was the first place we had dinner when we arrived in LA in August 2024. It is some of the best Thai food we have ever had. The dishes are kept simple (as they should be) and at the same time the flavor combination is fantastic. Only five stars and a huge recommendation from here. In addition, the price is more than fair - it is the cheapest (but the best) meal we have had so far on our tour of California.“

“The food was terrific. My girlfriend and I enjoyed everything about the food. We got the chicken skewers, market seafood soup, and Thai fried rice.
The only thing that bothered me was the service. It was Sunday night, and the gentleman sat us down. His only interaction was not until we finished our food to check if we wanted more water. I would understand if the excuse was because of a busy night. He had help on the floor but took care of every other table in the restaurant and outside the table. I am unsure if it was a situation where we didn't match the demographic of people who came in.“

“Here there is an interesting mix of Japanese & Thai fusion flavors. We came for the tasting menu. Fresh herbs & foods were used. 3 out of the 8 dishes i wasn't a fan of but my friend loved all of them. To each is own palette. Small & quaint place. Staff were all very approachable.“

“Best place to have northern Thai food in CA. We tried most of every menu they have and found that the test is very authentic. Our favorite dishes are the northern sausage and the chili pastes menu. Services also really great for the small restaurant. The server she always asks how much spices you want and recommends dishes for you.“

“When I went there because it was recommended to me, it was so crowded that I couldn't eat inside.
I tried to make a reservation through Google in advance, but I was unable to make a reservation due to a mysterious error.
I couldn't give up and ordered takeout.
There aren't many items on the takeout menu, but it's by far the most delicious Thai food I've ever eaten.
I've eaten Thai food in many countries, but even take-out food is so delicious that next time I'll definitely eat it freshly prepared at the restaurant.“

“Delicious! Got the tom yum soup, pad thai, and soft shell crab curry. All soooooo good, much better than natalee thai . I wish i knew about this place earlier, then we wouldn’t need to drive all the way to thai town for great thai food!
Service was quick and friendly, no wait on a weekday evening! A little hidden behind the trees on the street but glad we saw it on google.
(We asked for everything to be spicy but it wasnt spicy so I think they toned it down for us?)
Vegetarian options: You can choose the proteins in most dishes, they include tofu or veggies as options!“

“Step into Mama Mae Ting's stall and you will be transported into an authentic Bangkok soi eatery (street stall). Somtam is fresh, crunchy and seasoned as spicy as you can handle; the BBQ chicken (gai yang) & BBQ pork (mu ping) are super savory and juicy (and conveniently served on sticks)..be sure to ask for sticky rice with that! Missed out on the kanomkrok but will save that treat for my next visit. Super arroy di mak-mak!“

“We stumbled upon an absolute gem upon our recent visit to Hollywood. Our waitress was very kind and seemed pleased that we were going to enjoy lunch in her restaurant. We ordered the radish cakes and basil pork with rice. Both dishes were phenomenal, well-seasoned, fresh, and appropriate portions. Would highly recommend this establishment to anyone! Be sure to bring cash, as this is a cash-only restaurant as of the time I wrote this review. 10/10“

“I was told to review for a free Thai Iced Tea: Good atmosphere, the decor and lighting is beautiful! Good service, I went on a busy Friday night so it took a little longer to get the server's attention but they were soooo nice when they attended me. Not the best Thai food I've had, although I'm not a good guide for identifying Thai food authenticity. That said, the Pad Thai was not pleasing to my palette. Personally, it was too salty.
I do like that they their happy hour ends at 8pm on a Friday night, which is pretty late compared to other restaurants, and they are open late as well. Pad Thai -$17 + $4 to add chicken“

“Fancy restaurant with extremely courteous, personable and friendly service, who informed us about the levels of spiciness. We really enjoyed the meal and the starter salad was extremely delicious and spicy, despite the fact that we got the “not spicy” version. The large main courses (Pad Thai and drunken noodles with pastrami) were unbeatably fresh and delicious. It is very crowded and too loud and shrill inside for our taste, but you can sit comfortably and quietly outside in the evening! Absolute recommendation!
Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options.
Dietary restrictions: Some dishes are labeled as gluten-free but are not celiac disease-compliant.“

“I was looking for a quick lunch while I was out walking my dogs. I was craving Thai food and stumbled upon this place with a few small tables outside. The staff were really friendly and even brought water out for the pets. The menu is extensive and I appreciated the photos of each dish because it helped me order new items I haven’t tried. The food came out quickly and was really good. I recommend!
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options and clearly labeled dishes
Dietary restrictions: Plenty of options on the menu and made to order noodles
Parking: There’s a valet that’s $3 for 90 minutes but there’s also free 1-hour street parking nearby
Kid-friendliness: Would recommend - extensive menu
Wheelchair accessibility: All one level“

“I grabbed a couple of entrees for my friends and me before a matinee at the Pantages, and I was too excited to even take pictures of the food—something that rarely happens! But let me tell you, this place is a hidden gem. The service was quick, the chicken was incredibly tender, the garlicky rice was full of flavor, and the portions were huge. We’ve been to Savoy many times, but my friend said, ‘This is the best Hainan chicken rice I’ve ever had.’ Heng Heng is definitely a must-visit whenever I’m in town!“

“Classic Thai Restaurant, and the food is always delicious!
It was a reasonable price, with a nice portion and fresh ingredients. I asked for Mild, and they nicely accommodated my request.
I can never get old with the roast duck in red curry, and we started with the duck salad, which has lots of flavorful nuts and herbs.“

“I recently visited this Thai restaurant and was genuinely impressed by the clean, artful presentation and rich flavors of each dish. The Shrimp Garden Roll was a refreshing start—delicate rice paper wrapped around fresh vegetables, served with a tangy dipping sauce that brought out the flavors perfectly. Next, the Salmon Papaya Salad was a beautiful blend of textures and flavors: the slightly spicy green papaya complemented the tender, flavorful salmon, making it a delightful and satisfying choice.
The Drunken Pasta was a surprising twist, bringing a fusion of Italian and Thai flavors with just the right kick of spice. The pasta was cooked perfectly, absorbing the rich sauce that had a balance of bold flavors, spices, and herbs. Finally, the Crazy Green Bean was a standout, featuring crisp, sautéed green beans in a sauce that was both savory and slightly sweet, adding a delightful crunch to the meal.
Overall, each dish was thoughtfully prepared and offered a unique, satisfying taste experience. The restaurant’s attention to quality ingredients and authentic flavors made for an outstanding dining experience that I would highly recommend to anyone seeking refined Thai cuisine.“

“Farmhouse kitchen is the best Thai restaurant I’ve ever had. On top of the food being great and delicious, the presentation makes you want to order everything from the menu. Chef Bo was so nice to come out to our table and all I can say is she was a very nice, young & talented person. She even made me a special dessert for my birthday. Thanks Bo❤️ I highly recommend this place if you want an authentic, excellent and delicious food. In addition, the place is so full of life. The decor is amazing! I can’t wait to go back and try some of the fancy drinks and dishes on the menu.“
