“My friend was hyping this place up so I decided to see if he spoke some truth to his statements. It didn't disappoint, but it didn't hit it out of the park either. Interior is very presentable. Clean and new. There are a lot of choices to pick from, but you get a limited quantity per category. You have their base, two base toppings, two scoops of protein, five toppings, two sauces (unfortunate), and then two sprinkles. The taste of the fish by itself is okay. Sauce is really good though. I was surprised at how much it was (about $3 more than what I'm used to paying) but their portions are very generous. I could not finish my bowl in one sitting when I always do. Hopefully the next time I come back, I'd find my go-to recipe!“

“Great Burger & Fries! Interesting setup, you go to the bar to order for food & drink, and then wait for the puck to go off. It must've been 1/2 pound.burger, it was huge, with a fresh bun, delicious. Came with the works - lettuce, tomatoes, raw onion, pickle. Next time I'll ask for fried onions or get the pizza. The pizza had a delicious flavor and fresh ingredients. The chicken strips were juicy and flavorful. “I visited during a company outing host by a local corporation. We were treated to aspread that allowed a taste of almost everything on the menu. The descriptions are accurate, and the ingredients all tasted fresh. I would definitely bring friends and family there on a personal trip.“

“I can't believe I've lived around this bar for decades and never visited until now. They look closed and a bit obscure, and it's a bit hidden in a small, dark corner of a small complex. But check this! - Friendly, cute bartender. I was digging her tattoos, too! - Good service - Adequate music, where it's lively but you can still talk - Large selection of whiskey and beer - Friendly patrons I've been to dive bars where the patrons look extremely sad (think Barney & alcoholics in the Simpsons). Even though this was our first time here, the DJ who was running karaoke greeted us and asked if we wanted to participate (we were happy to just hang out, but next time for sure). My husband enjoyed his Blue Moon with a fresh orange garnish and my vodka soda was nice and strong. The place was clean and they had decor up for the holidays. Would come back for sure!“

If you are looking for a sit down style restaurant with table service, this might not be the place for you. “Went for the weekend to San Jose to watch the 49ers game and we decided to pick Javi's as our bar for the night. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. We can tell everybody there were regulars, but no one treat it us like outsiders. We had a blast we got to talk and laugh with some regulars. We had so much fun that We forgot our credit card. Lisa went out and beyond to contact me to let me know. I already thought she a was wonderful bartender but she blew my expectations. We definitely want to go back when ever we are in San Jose.
