“I’ve been coming to Chico pizza since age of 2 years old..I’m in my 50’s now…Chicos is the best pizza ever. I’ve tried many pizza places. It’s the same food quality and the building is exactly the same. I hope they don’t change anything from the ceiling to the walls because it will feel like a part of my childhood would leave. I’m upset because they close early now. I used to get a late night pizza before midnight on weekdays. Now they close at 930. I’m a very finicky eater and I tell anyone. If you want to get me food. You can never go wrong with Chico Pizza“

We hosted our Baby Shower here and they were so accommodating. It's a great location for a private party or a large group. Definitely recommend!

They do validate for parking - pull into the Aliso building lot by Arrowhead Brewery.

Try the squash blossoms, Lambrusco & spicy calabrese pizza. Everything is so yummy.

Highly recommend a reservation on the weekends - they get busy!

“OMG!! we came here before the Angus and Julia Stone concert (around the corner from the Orpheum Theatre) the last Saturday in June and what a cozy little joint this place is! We sat at the bar

Service was spot on, my wine was delicious (a Chenin Blanc) and the Bolognese Pappardelle was mouthwateringly good! The wine list consist of natural wines. Such a chill vibe in here but we were early in our reservations so keeping that in mind I'd say it might get busier the later the hour. Also be aware they do NOT take cash for payment of your meal. They do, of course for tips just not for the meal.

Not a lot of room in here so don't come with the thought of a romantic dinner for two where you can whisper sweet-nothings to one another without someone else overhearing hahaha.

Parking lot was well lit behind the building, it is shared with the Theater.

“A wonderful local place run by people who used to work at some high class places decided to run their own business. The sauces are great. They have specials all the time. I'm shocked how the prices are still low. Crowded even on a Wednesday.

“I would describe De La Nonna as an elevated pizza restaurant. As with most pizza joints, they serve up beer, salad and pizza, but this not your standard fare.

Start off with a craft beer, wine, or a fancy cocktail (or mocktail). Lots of choices to be had.

For starters, we ordered the market salad which had a fantastically light tangerine(?) dressing. The dressing on the ceaser salad was a bit heavy, but it was still tasty.

The eggplant caponata appeared to have been lightly fried and coated in a sweet and savory sauce. Very good.

As for the pizzas, all were insanely good. Each was like a pillowy soft deep dish pizza and they all came with the best crispy edges.

IMO the roasted mushroom pizza was the best — and I'm not a fan of mushrooms.

Prices are a bit higher than you would find at a typical pizza place, but again, these are not your typical pizzas. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere, chill.

Dietary restrictions: They were able to accommodate customers with celiacs.“

“Sat at the bar. Great atmosphere. One of the bartenders (seemed to be either mgr or owner) was great, but the other guy was new and not great.
The pizza was pretty terrible,*if* you know what good Italian pizza is. I could barely eat it - crust was not right, and there was so much cheese you couldn't even find that crust.
I'd visit again for the drinks, but never again would I try the pizza. Sad.“

“A fantastic night of dancing, great food, big band magic, all set in a grand ballroom that evokes a sense of grandeur and style. I cannot recommend this enough. We saw Lizzy and the Triggermen there, who blew the roof off. As for the food, the tuna tartar was delicious, the veal piccata and branzino were both excellent, and the desserts were surprisingly elegant and capped the evening perfectly. Drinks are not cheap, but they’re well made and generous. All in all, an evening of high style hard to match anywhere in LA, or New York, for that matter. Cannot recommend enough.“

“What a fantastic discovery. I was craving calzones and used to have a spot in Los Feliz which I would go out of my way for. After trying a few places which fell short of the mark in South Bay, I almost gave up on finding authentic Italian food locally. The search was worth it as this is now going to be one of my forever places to come on a regular basis. From the calzone, to the pizza, salads and even the Cannoli Siciliani Pistacchio, everything has been nothing short of amazing. “We had the DineLA menu. The corn gazpacho was wonderful, perfect for summer. Both the branzino and duck could use some more flavors. The chocolate sorbet was delicious! Nice dark chocolate flavor. Our server was excellent, friendly, helpful and attentive without being intrusive. The patio was nice and we very much appreciated the low volume music ...allowing us to have good table conversations without having to raise our voices.“

“Incredible atmosphere, excellent service. We sat at the window bar looking out into the street and it felt so inviting and wholesome. An experience I feel is rare among LA restaurants. The caprese was amazing, deliciously simple and decadent, and with the pesto on top . I had the mushroom carbonara and my wife had the caccio e pepe, both of which I can reccomend wholeheartedly. Also on thursdays there's a farmers market right across the street. Had a great time and we're excited to go back and try more of their menu. Shoutout to our waiter what a chiller.“

“I adore this amazing eatery. My favorite thing is the Ricotta & Orange Blossom Honey toast. The bread is crunchy, thick, grilled and fullof flavor. The extremely thick layer of high quality ricotta has such a delicate sweeness. Topped with toasted sesame seeds that add not only texture but a slight nuttiness that perfectly compliments the ricotta. And then the piece de resistance is the perfect drizzle of local orange blossom honey it adds the peefect end note to this lucious dish. I love eating there as well. Everyone is so friendly. The cooks are consistent and fabulous. It's so much fun just enjoying the sights and sounds of Fairfax while have the best pizza or various bruschettas they offer. The ambiance is half pizza joint and half Los Angeles trendy eatery. It's definitely one of my favorite places to dine.“
