“I recently had a 50th anniversary party in the Banquet Room, and I was very happy with how it all turned out. I reserved my date several months in advance and from several states away, never having been to the restaurant before. But the information online combined with other guest reviews really helped. The restaurant was very responsive to my inquiries and messages. Everything was clear and well communicated regarding the requirements for reserving the Banquet Room. The room itself is cozy with beautiful vaulted ceilings and tasteful art on the walls. It can accommodate 40 seated for dinner, which is close quarters but not uncomfortable. We were all close family and friends, so we didn't mind being close. The restaurant provided table linens and all plates, glasses, and silverware. They allowed us to come in a couple hours early to do some additional decorating, which we really appreciated! We chose the family-style Italian dinner, and it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious, and they were ready with more plates of food if we were even close to finishing one up. The bar drinks were very well made and good quality. The staff was attentive and accommodating and ready to help with anything. They were friendly and patient with our group. I really can't praise them enough. They even allowed us to play our own dinner music and some dancing music, provided we didn't disrupt the other guests, which we really appreciated! Over all, I would highly recommend The Vineyard for your next event. (The outdoor group event space looks lovely as well, though probably better suited for cooler weather months!)”

“We just happened to come across Ficklin Vineyards while driving through Madera and wow! We were so impressed. Chase is a fantastic member of their team: personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. As newcomers to Port wine, I really appreciated his approachable introduction to the different varieties and the attention to detail that goes into their winemaking. It made for a memorable and welcoming experience.”

“I would give it a 5 because the food is super delicious, freshly made and is authentic Oaxacan food. I had mole and it almost tasted like my mom's but not quite lol, I also had a memelita de tazajo oh my goodness it was the best to say the least. The reason I gave it a 4 because the waitress forgot to bring my toddler her food and never went to check if we needed anything else but it was ok I shared my delicious rice n beans with her. “Plethora of options for a quick pit stop, great if you have kids, some veg options — it’s a regular buffet so no vegan meat substitutes and stuff like that. For kids lots of fruits, cookies, desserts, even ice cream! Staff is very friendly and nice! $21.99 per adult and $12.99-14.99 per kid depending on age. I didn’t eat here because I was full but people from our group didn’t complain and kids were happy, I just wanted to point that they have decent vegetarian/vegan options if you need to eat.

After a number of visits I still keep going back for reasonably priced food that I enjoy, I feel am being transferred, or it would be on my restaurant lists as a place to go for dinner. The food is a bit to flavorful for lunch as the spicing would probably stay with me and some of my patients might notice it.”

“The waitress knew my tias style of noodles. Very patient, always smiling, everything is hot when it comes out. Does take a little long to get your food but it is so worth it. The portions are enough to feed two. I always have some to take home. Everything has a great crisp taste. Nice crunch on various appetizers, and their pot sticker sauce has a good kick. Love it! Definitely been my favorite place since I was a kid. 25 years later... still delicious.”

“This is my third time here and the quality of the food and service have been excellent every time. I’ve come during dinner rushes, and also during slower periods and it’s been such a pleasure every time. My favorite order is definitely the Village Chop Suey over chow mien. It’s loaded with delicious veggies, chicken, pork, shrimp, and a savory sauce all atop noodles. I love their house made chili oil so I was recommended to try the dish made medium spicy today and there’s no going back for me now. Absolutely delish, the perfect kick, depth of flavor, and freshness from the veggies. A favorite of ours is also the fried shrimp. Love this place and we will continue to return and support. “Let me tell you, if you’re looking for local, quick, perfect Mexican food, you should absolutely try this place. The staff are super nice, and are always super understanding when I adapt things on the menu a bit. On its worst day the food is still better than most of the Mexican food I’ve had, on a great day it’s literally unmatched. The tacos, burritos, alambre, nachos, machete, torta, literally everything is amazing.All of their salsas slap (guacamole, habanero, red and green.)
When I say it’s insanely good I’m not kidding, multiple of my friends from out of town ALWAYS want to hit this place up when they visit, it’s literally so damn good.

Pro tip: get the Al Pastor tacos on the homemade tortillas with everything (make sure to ask for pineapple and guacamole too)

If you're looking for Mexican fast food, then this is the place to visit!

While driving around in search of a quick bite to eat, we were craving Mexican food, and decided to give this place a go!

El Tibu Taqueria is a family owned, self-serve restaurant. The atmosphere is very relaxed and chill.

Service: The lady working at the cashier spoke both Spanish and English, which was nice since we can only speak English. Ordering food and drinks was very easy and fast.

In terms of the food, it was pretty good! If you order tacos, you can either get them cooked inside or outside. If you get them cooked outside, you pick them up at a little cute taco stand in front of the restaurant entrance. Overall, the food was DELICIOUS and filling, and the Hibiscus and Rice drinks were extremely flavorful!”

“Awesome burgers. My favorite is the San Joaquin Pastrami burger. Great chili cheese fries and even love the chicken salad. My daughter loves coming here for the milkshakes.

Updating my review as I've tried frosty queens in other cities. Food is still good but my biggest gripe is that they have to ask you if you want cheese on your burger which is an upcharge. I used to get their salads but now they are just using the shredded burger lettuce. My other complaint is that customer service varies from day to day. My order was wrong, chili was supposed to be on the side so my fries wouldn't get soggy by the time I got home but you can never get their attention at the counter. We also asked for my daughter's burger plain two times, but it came with everything on it.

Will give them another shot maybe or just come back for the desserts only.”

“Well, I’m not exactly a huge fan of Carl’s Jr., it’s a pretty in offensive establishment overall. I went there, not too long ago with my sister and it wasn’t all that bad. The employees were pretty laid-back and friendly all things considering and the food was served to us at a reasonable time. The classic chicken sandwich that I ordered was amazing all things considering, the buns were toasted to perfection. The chicken was juicy, and there was just enough pickles and mayo to satisfy me. The fries themselves were pretty great too, but they’re nothing to write home about, I would definitely recommend them nonetheless.

As for the environment, it’s a Carl’s Jr. so there’s not really all that much to write about there. Still, it was a pretty clean environment, and I got the job done overall. Still, I wouldn’t recommend frequenting Carl’s Jr. given its price tag and more of an occasional treat. Still, with that being said, I also recommend people to buy milkshakes, which are absolutely stellar.

Parking: So I do want to make it clear that there is free parking at this establishment and it’s actually quite spacious all things considering. Even if this Carl’s Jr. was incredibly busy which doesn’t happen all that much, I doubt you’re ever going to run out of space to park in.”

“We owned a very popular pizza parlor for 18 years. Everyone raved about it. Today we tried your pizza and wings. I have to say my wife and I finished a large Bulldog and small order of wings. Both were very good. If I can tell you the dough is a little thin so add more weight to make it fluffier. Next add more seasoning and Oregano to the sauce and put a little more on the pizza to make it less dry. Improving the quality and charge a little more will drive more customers.”

Got some pho, Vietnamese style chicken curry, it's actually pretty good. Some Thai tea, egg rolls and a Vietnamese sandwich. The sandwich looks great but the sauce paste is lacking. Need a lot more.”
