“Ordered and paid for a latte and grilled cheese. After several minutes I was told they were out of grilled cheese. Said I could choose another option, which I did. It was around a $1 less, but no mention of a refund. Not a big deal, but should have been mentioned. Also, there was a homeless guy sitting in the patio area yelling and cursing to himself.“

“I like going to this specific location. They are very quick and very polite. Not crowded at all, which i like. Though they don’t have mobile order, but it is good since unlike other location, they have more employees and you get your order fast.“

The coffee? Exactly what I wanted. Hot, strong, and balanced with that caramel sweetness I come back for every time. I’ve been to plenty of Starbucks all over California, but this one keeps a special spot on my list whenever I’m in Malibu.
The interior is clean and modern with plenty of seating inside, and the outside patio is a nice bonus if you want to sit under the umbrellas and breathe in the ocean air just a few minutes away. The only thing that threw me off — there’s no restroom inside. Honestly, I didn’t expect that in a Malibu Starbucks. Not a dealbreaker, but surprising for sure.
Still, it’s all about the coffee and the service, and they nailed both. For me, this place is locked at ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.
