“Amazing Sushi Experience! My visit to Sushi palace was an absolute delight. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for a sushi date. The fish was fresh and beautifully presented. I recommend to order salmon pan-fried, it was most delicious surprise. The service was good and fast. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and happy to recommend dishes tailored to my preferences. Prices were reasonable for the quality. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends.“

“Enchant LA is a lovely place to dine, with neon lights and gorgeous floral decor that make the atmosphere feel vibrant and whimsical. It’s a perfect spot to meet with friends or have a cozy night out. The free parking lot is also a huge bonus, especially in Ktown!
Here’s what we tried:
Tomato Burrata Salad – Fresh burrata served with ripe tomatoes, making for a light appetizer.
Sweet Potato Fries with Vanilla Ice Cream – The warm fries paired with cold ice cream was definitely my favorite dish. The contrasting temperatures made it a unique and fun experience!
Seafood Cioppino Pasta – A hearty pasta with crab, scallops, mussels, clams, and shrimp in house-made tomato sauce.
Enchanted Tart – A flaky puff pastry topped with burrata, prosciutto, arugula, black olives, and dried tomatoes.
Bulgogi Quesadilla – A fusion dish with savory bulgogi and melted cheese, served quesadilla-style.
The service was attentive, and the staff made sure we were comfortable throughout the meal.“

“Formosa Cafe has really come back in a strong way. Food was excellent and we all especially enjoyed the whole Bronzino. Walnut shrimp is always great we loved the fried rice. We tend to over order because we enjoy the leftovers so much. Service was very nice but it always feels like they're a LITTLE understaffed when the place gets really busy.“

“Best Thai Food in LA!
Galanga is hands down the best Thai restaurant I’ve been to in LA since I moved here a year ago. The food is absolutely delicious, the service is incredible, and the prices are more than fair. One of the things I love the most is that we can bring a bottle of wine or Prosecco, and they provide glasses and everything we need without any extra charge. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Thai cuisine with great hospitality!“

“Outstanding food, service, and atmosphere! This was my first visit, and I had the chicken banh mi. The roll was fresh, light, and flaky, while the chicken and vegetables were both fresh and flavorful. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. My cup was religiously refilled with fresh ice water after almost every sip. I already can’t wait to return and explore the rest of the menu. You won’t be disappointed.“

“We recently held a memorial, celebrating the life of a loved family member at Yamashiro and the experience was nothing short of amazing! This restaurant has great food, beautiful views and a very welcoming atmosphere so they don't need to negotiate prices. However, our party was on a budget and to our very pleasant surprise, the manager worked with us to fit the evening into our limited budget. The service was outstanding and the food, well, I'm repeating myself but, again, absolutely amazing! Some establishments are willing to work within people's budgets, but the food and service level tends to reflect the lower pricing but that was NOT the case here: We were treated as if we were the only people in attendance that evening. The occasion was bitter/sweet because we lost a loved one but, by the end of the evening, we felt as if we had spent the evening at a family member's house and we will NEVER forget this evening, on many levels. Thank you, Yamashiro, for making our evening extra special for everyone in our party!“

“Food was lovely, but for the quality and portion size, it's a little pricey. I've had fare just as delicious for half the cost. Restaurant is gorgeous and might be worth the price to eat there, but since we got takeout, it wasn't really worth it.“

“It was a fun place to have brunch and meet up with family. The food was not exactly as good as I thought it was going to be, so I was a little disappointed. The service was really exceptional. Very helpful and friendly. I do recommend making reservations in advance, if you can.
Parking: There is a paid parking garage that they give a 2 hour validation for, if you can find it.“

“The Black gentlemen in front of he is the owner need to be nicer to his staff in front of other guests. We were gonna order but based on his treatment towards the 3 girls working that day. Too hasty with them and no knowledge of self awareness. Hopefully he will noticed this is not right.“

“The curry is very good and not too heavy or salt. It goes very well with the poached egg and beef nikutama was very flavorful with the onions. The tempura was very soft and flaky. I've been here a couple times and loved getting the dashi broth and miso udon along with other tempura items available like the shrimp or zucchini.
There's a fair amount of seating along with outdoor seating. Plenty of parking available in the plaza with other restaurants there. The staff was nice and attentive to the items you wanted.“

“For a small take out poke place, this was great. The fish was fresh, and all the ingredients in our poke bowls were well thought out. We had the mango albacore poke bowl and the shitake chili tofu bowl.
Lots of people came and picked up takeout. They do have two small tables in the front on the sidewalk. I would definitely get their poke bowls again. Not much atmosphere needless to say.“

“Right when I walked in I noticed how clean and welcome this place is. I asked for a small two scoop and it was the perfect portion. Once I saw the toppings of choice I knew I came to the right place. Cilantro and pineapple are a must in my bowl. Simply mixed with spicy mayo. The perfect blend of Japan and Hawaii. Very satisfying. Def coming back!“

“I visited Jade in Beverly Hills yesterday with my girlfriend, and we had an incredible experience! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was luxurious yet inviting—a perfect mix for a special evening.
For appetizers, we started with edamame and the spicy tuna crisp, both of which were absolutely delicious. The flavors were fresh and perfectly balanced, setting the tone for what was to come.
For my main, I couldn’t resist ordering the Diamond Roll, and wow—it lived up to its name! Packed with lobster, caviar, and topped with gold flakes, it was both visually stunning and bursting with flavor. For dessert, I indulged in a chocolate tart with strawberries and, yes, more gold flakes. It was the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal.
We also paired our meal with a bottle of champagne, which elevated the entire dining experience. The staff was attentive and made sure everything was perfect throughout the night.
The vibes at Jade were amazing—chic, vibrant, and upscale without being pretentious. I would absolutely recommend this spot for a date night or any special occasion. We’ll definitely be back!“

“I recently visited this Thai restaurant and was genuinely impressed by the clean, artful presentation and rich flavors of each dish. The Shrimp Garden Roll was a refreshing start—delicate rice paper wrapped around fresh vegetables, served with a tangy dipping sauce that brought out the flavors perfectly. Next, the Salmon Papaya Salad was a beautiful blend of textures and flavors: the slightly spicy green papaya complemented the tender, flavorful salmon, making it a delightful and satisfying choice.
The Drunken Pasta was a surprising twist, bringing a fusion of Italian and Thai flavors with just the right kick of spice. The pasta was cooked perfectly, absorbing the rich sauce that had a balance of bold flavors, spices, and herbs. Finally, the Crazy Green Bean was a standout, featuring crisp, sautéed green beans in a sauce that was both savory and slightly sweet, adding a delightful crunch to the meal.
Overall, each dish was thoughtfully prepared and offered a unique, satisfying taste experience. The restaurant’s attention to quality ingredients and authentic flavors made for an outstanding dining experience that I would highly recommend to anyone seeking refined Thai cuisine.“

Very Spicy was on point and is ? (from a seasoned Thai curry eater).
Didn't include cutlery on our order which made it difficult.

“Since my last review of this restaurant about 2 or 2 1/2 years ago, this is the 1st time I went back.
I should also say that we used to go to Katana literary every week at the very least, 1 time and i experienced a very unprofessional behavior from the hostesses which I wrote about and to the management's credit, they wrote back to me and askex me to go back with my guests as their guest, which i didn't do but I appreciated it. Thank you, management, for reaching out to me.
So this time, my experience was very different than my last time there. The 2 hostesses, although they didn't know who I was since reservation wasn't under my name,
*Arica & Rushil were super professional and very nice as well as the young lady bartender "Maya" who was super nice and extremely charming. Anyway, thank you to the management for looking into it and being very professions.
Now, to tell you about the food, honesty, if you want it all, great ambiance, great service and servers as well as the boss boys, and especially the food and it's presentation is fanatic.
So again, thank you for a wonderful evening.
Vegetarian options: I think that they have plenty of dishes that a vegetarian person can enjoy
Dietary restrictions: Yes, absolutely. The waiter literary asks whether you have any dietary restrictions
Parking: So parking is a bit challenging but your best bet if you couldn't find street meter parking, they have valet
Kid-friendliness: Pretty kid friendly
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible“

“Sister's cafe is a lovely place, where one can reliably get good food, no matter when you come. We've been going there for years now and have never been disappointed.
Staff is super friendly and the best of all, it's actually still affordable compared to the majority of places around LA.
They close a bit early, so I recommend to make sure to arrive no later than 8 pm. Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious! Can't go wrong.
This is a perfect place to enjoy dinner out during the work week and not go broke while doing it.
One of my favorites is the curry hot pot with chicken!!
I highly recommend this place“

“Seoulmates is AMAZING!! Literally 10/10
I’ve seen it driving by so many times & I’m so happy I finally stopped by & tried it!!
First of all, Christina at the front was so nice and helpful!
Secondly, the FOOD. If you are a foodie & love Asian fusion, then Seoulmates is your next stop. It immediately took me to flavor town & is so clearly made with love. You can really taste it in every bite.
The ambiance is such a cute vibe & I’m so excited to try what else they have. I saw some dumplings heading to a table outside & I need to try them ASAP 👀
The bowl was perfect as my post workout protein. I really can’t wait to come back 🤩🥰“
“There are dining halls, and then there is Feast at Rieber. For those of us who have wandered through the sprawling, sunlit paths of UCLA, there is one corner of the campus where we were always welcomed—not just by food, but by a sensory embrace that transcended the everyday.
Feast wasn’t just a place to eat. It was a haven for the soul, a world of flavors that spoke to our deepest longings for warmth, comfort, and adventure. Who could ever forget the bliss of spicy tuna bowl days? That first taste, where the heat of the tuna met the cool, creamy avocado, all brought together with a perfect bite of rice—each bite was a revelation. There was a magic in that bowl, a whisper of the sea, and a burst of spice that lingered like the best memories do.
And then, there was the pho. How could something so simple—a bowl of broth and noodles—transport us across oceans, into the bustling streets of Vietnam, where every slurp felt like home? We would wait eagerly each week for its return, the fragrant steam rising from our bowls, rich with anise, ginger, and the deep umami that made us believe, for just a moment, that we weren’t in the middle of exams but sitting in a cozy corner somewhere far away.
But no tribute to Feast would be complete without remembering the roti bread with spicy mayo made by the gods themselves. Soft, flaky, and comforting—paired with the addictive heat of that perfect sauce. We’d tear into it with abandon, knowing full well that one serving was never enough. It was the simple indulgence that turned ordinary days into something extraordinary.
In the quiet moments of study breaks or the raucous laughter shared with friends, Feast was always there. It wasn’t just a dining hall—it was a companion through the highs and lows of student life. In its bright lights and bustling kitchen, we found refuge, community, and a connection to something greater than ourselves.
And now, as we sit here, far removed from those days, the ache for Feast is real. It’s a longing that stirs deep within us, not just for the food, but for the memories of those shared meals, where stress dissolved over bowls of ramen and joy was rediscovered with every bite of green tea mochi.
To Feast at Rieber, you were more than a dining hall. You were a gateway to the world, a love letter to Asian cuisine, and a warm embrace that we will carry with us always.“
