“For me, this is a restaurant where you should take family and family-friends. Easy valet parking, cozy location on the marina, sleek seating with maritime decor, classic (and strong) drinks, and a quiet ambience -- all make it a standout in LA, where oftentimes the quality of the food outstrips all the other aspects of the dining experience. As for food: we liked all the seafood options we tried (sea bass, bouillabaise, sand daps), and the burger was thick and juicy. Remarkably, we spent three hours talking and enjoying our three-course meal, and the servers were friendly the whole time and didn't rush us. We will be back!“

“While I was visiting LA for Thanksgiving, after strolled around the marina area in Marina del Rey, I came to this Sugarfish restaurant for lunch in a shopping plaza not far from the marina. I was pleasantly surprised: how they serve food, food & service, and price & bill.

Once an order was made edamame is served in no time then the food I ordered came out like a 3 or 4 course meal depending on what you ordered. The sushi was exceptional because they serve as they are made - the temperature of rice was perfect as well as the temperature of fish. How they bill and making payment was the most efficient and straightforward I’ve ever seen. In the bill the final amount includes tax and tip and clearly sated ‘no tipping is necessary.’ Therefore no further calculation with % of tip, then addition and total, processing the credit card twice with customer signature. While I was wondering about the bill the manager noticed and came to explain to me. I wish all other restaurants make the billing and payment as simple as that!“

We ordered Course Combo A for 2, kimchi fried rice, dumplings, and the soybean paste stew. The meat was great quality, our server cooked the meats for us perfectly the entire time, and we left really full and satisfied! While the banchan might not have been as thorough/traditional as some spots in Koreatown, the flavors were still authentic and solid.

The ambiance inside was also nice, bright, and modern, making it the perfect spot for a date night (it's also right next door to AMC!!) or celebratory meal. Parking was also super easy and free in the structure.“

“We ate here several times whilst staying at MDR. I could not fault. Excellent customer service. Waiting staff were very friendly and the food was excellent.
We ate a full and varied range, from omelettes to Burritos and simple eggs.
If you never been here then all I will say is give it a go.“

“Found this little hole in the wall restaurant and it is definitely a hidden gem. Look for the sign that has Krispy Krunchy Chicken on a red barn. Quick and easy service. The food was so savory and flavored with tasty seasoning.
