“Wife and I stopped after a long drive up the coast from San Francisco on a Sunday.

We were seated right away by a member of the friendly staff. Bar tender was quick to help us. My wife ordered a chicken wrap with sweet potato fries and I had an Angus burger with sweet potato fries.

The food was out quick and was fantastic. Prepared well and tasted excellent. The whole experience was great. Staff was attentive and kind. I would stop here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!“

“Excellent visit. Early in the day, I had the Ahi Poké bowl. The fish was very fresh, tasty, and fantastic. Being right on the ocean I expected the quality of the fish to be top notch. I was not disappointed. My dish was freshly made at the time of order, rummy, the presentation was top notch, and I was immensely pleased. We returned for dinner and the experience was more of the same. My wife got the vegan ramen and I got the spicy wings. Yep, goodness to go. We ate while watching the sunset“

The best part of the occasion, though, is a truly lovely garden where one eats on tables spread over the landscape. The surroundings create a memorable experience.“

“My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary at Trillium on Aug 11 and it was one of the highlights of our experience in Mendocino. The hostess that night had an amazing bouquet of flowers waiting for my wife at our table. She was incredibly thoughtful and my wife can’t stop raving about them. Next, the service was welcoming, exceptional and timely. Finally, the food was prepared perfectly. And the star of the night was the coffee! Wow. Thank you to the staff for creating a wonderful atmosphere and experience for a special milestone in our lives!“

“I enjoyed every meal of our dinners at Ravens. The food is creative, delicious, and attractively presented. Most nights my daughter and I each got a small plate, followed by a large plate. One night we even indulged in dessert. The food is rich in vegetables and many other healthy ingredients, and is low oil and not fried. Our favorite small plate was the kale stack, and favorite large plate was the sea palm. As we roamed nearby parks, we were quite attuned to all the sea palms growing on rocks near shore. Ravens sources their sea palm locally, so we might have been looking at someone's future dinner. The portions are generous, and every night we took enough food back to our room for lunch the next day.“

“Cafe Jaavy is a lovely little place with delicious food, coffee drinks and smoothies. I love the panuchos and get them every time I am in Fort Bragg. My husband loves the breakfast burrito and the chorizo breakfast plate. This place is popular, so don't be surprised to have to wait to get a seat, but it us so worth the wait. Very friendly and attentive staff. We are headed to Fort Bragg this week and we will be visiting Cafe Javvy as soon as we can after we arrive.“

“Called in a pizza for pickup, and they text you when it’s ready. We arrived right after they boxed it, so everything was hot and fresh. The people couldn’t have been nicer, and the food couldn’t have been more flavorful. Every part was great, but I especially enjoyed their sauce, and they truly cover their pizza with toppings!!! We left feeling like we found the best deal in town. You’ll get your money’s worth and then some.“

“KUDOS to the staff of La Playa!!! Not only was the food DELICIOUS but the staff so very friendly. We had a large group of 40 with most being youth. The staff were so patient with our group and bottom line were just amazing. I have experienced our group with larger restaurants and La Playa blew them out of the water - the food and service top notch! When my family come to the area La Playa will be a stop for sure, and should we bring our youth group back this will for sure be on the agenda! “We called to reserve a Ladies Night. Small gathering of local women to reconnect. The Wharf was ready for us with a section reserved and a cute little Ladies Night drink menu. Above and beyond in service all the way around. The manager Terrie was amazing!“
