“Excellent visit. Early in the day, I had the Ahi Poké bowl. The fish was very fresh, tasty, and fantastic. Being right on the ocean I expected the quality of the fish to be top notch. I was not disappointed. My dish was freshly made at the time of order, rummy, the presentation was top notch, and I was immensely pleased. “Unique pizza combinations and seasonal specials in a cute spot in Mendocino. Lot of outdoor seating in their garden with beautiful succulents. Wouldn’t recommend purchasing soup since it comes in a to-go plastic container. A must visit place with reasonable prices and generous portion sizes. We ordered 2 pizzas for 2 people and ended up eating it for dinner too, so order judicially.“

“My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary at Trillium on Aug 11 and it was one of the highlights of our experience in Mendocino. The hostess that night had an amazing bouquet of flowers waiting for my wife at our table. She was incredibly thoughtful and my wife can’t stop raving about them. Next, the service was welcoming, exceptional and timely. Finally, the food was prepared perfectly. And the star of the night was the coffee! Wow. Thank you to the staff for creating a wonderful atmosphere and experience for a special milestone in our lives!“

“I enjoyed every meal of our dinners at Ravens. The food is creative, delicious, and attractively presented. Most nights my daughter and I each got a small plate, followed by a large plate. One night we even indulged in dessert. The food is rich in vegetables and many other healthy ingredients, and is low oil and not fried. Our favorite small plate was the kale stack, and favorite large plate was the sea palm. As we roamed nearby parks, we were quite attuned to all the sea palms growing on rocks near shore. Ravens sources their sea palm locally, so we might have been looking at someone's future dinner. The portions are generous, and every night we took enough food back to our room for lunch the next day.“

“La Palapa is a wonderful spot for fresh, flavorful Mexican cuisine with excellent service. I tried the fresh ceviche cooked in lime juice, and it was absolutely delicious—the fish was incredibly fresh, and the produce was crisp and vibrant, making every bite refreshing and perfectly balanced.

One detail I really appreciated was the variety of hot sauces available at the tables, allowing guests to customize the heat and flavors to their liking. The guest service is outstanding; the staff takes the time to explain the menu thoroughly and makes great recommendations.

They also offer a special menu with a wide variety of options, including excellent vegetarian choices, and gluten free which is a huge plus. Overall, La Palapa delivers great food, welcoming service, and a thoughtful dining experience. I highly recommend it and look forward to coming back. 🌶️✨“

“Cafe Jaavy is a lovely little place with delicious food, coffee drinks and smoothies. I love the panuchos and get them every time I am in Fort Bragg. My husband loves the breakfast burrito and the chorizo breakfast plate. This place is popular, so don't be surprised to have to wait to get a seat, but it us so worth the wait. Very friendly and attentive staff. We are headed to Fort Bragg this week and we will be visiting Cafe Javvy as soon as we can after we arrive.“

“Called in a pizza for pickup, and they text you when it’s ready. We arrived right after they boxed it, so everything was hot and fresh. The people couldn’t have been nicer, and the food couldn’t have been more flavorful. Every part was great, but I especially enjoyed their sauce, and they truly cover their pizza with toppings!!! We left feeling like we found the best deal in town. You’ll get your money’s worth and then some.“

“This is my second visit here in the past couple months. Visited this past Saturday during dinner time and was able to place my order quickly with friendly staff and helpful service. Had a large order of breadsticks, pizza, sandwiches, and pasta; everything came out to the table hot, at the same time, and delicious! The staff is very friendly and all smiles making for the perfect environment to bring the family and have a great meal! Both visits did not disappoint. “KUDOS to the staff of La Playa!!! Not only was the food DELICIOUS but the staff so very friendly. We had a large group of 40 with most being youth. The staff were so patient with our group and bottom line were just amazing. I have experienced our group with larger restaurants and La Playa blew them out of the water - the food and service top notch! When my family come to the area La Playa will be a stop for sure, and should we bring our youth group back this will for sure be on the agenda! “Loved the Tom Kha Gai chicken coconut soup. From the low price I expected a cup or small bowl but instead was served a large Bistro bowl with at least a pint of wonderful soup. Thr dinner special tonight was ribeye steak dinner $27. The Pad Thai was delicious and a large portion. I'll be going back again real soon.“
