“Excellent visit. Early in the day, I had the Ahi Poké bowl. The fish was very fresh, tasty, and fantastic. Being right on the ocean I expected the quality of the fish to be top notch. I was not disappointed. My dish was freshly made at the time of order, rummy, the presentation was top notch, and I was immensely pleased. “Ordered the BBQ Chicken pizza. We were pleasantly surprised. Delicious pizza out of the brick oven. Seating is typically outside in the garden, but we were all wearing shorts, so we opted for the bar upstairs. There we got coffees and beer.
Service, well you are given a beeper when your pizza is ready.
The atmosphere upstairs was so nice. Playing 60’s-80’s music.“

“My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary at Trillium on Aug 11 and it was one of the highlights of our experience in Mendocino. The hostess that night had an amazing bouquet of flowers waiting for my wife at our table. She was incredibly thoughtful and my wife can’t stop raving about them. Next, the service was welcoming, exceptional and timely. Finally, the food was prepared perfectly. And the star of the night was the coffee! Wow. Thank you to the staff for creating a wonderful atmosphere and experience for a special milestone in our lives!“

“I enjoyed every meal of our dinners at Ravens. The food is creative, delicious, and attractively presented. Most nights my daughter and I each got a small plate, followed by a large plate. One night we even indulged in dessert. The food is rich in vegetables and many other healthy ingredients, and is low oil and not fried. Our favorite small plate was the kale stack, and favorite large plate was the sea palm. As we roamed nearby parks, we were quite attuned to all the sea palms growing on rocks near shore. Ravens sources their sea palm locally, so we might have been looking at someone's future dinner. The portions are generous, and every night we took enough food back to our room for lunch the next day.“

“Went here with my family on a Friday afternoon. I had the Tijuana taco and the quesadilla. All of our food was excellent. There are good gluten free options. Though all food was good and all meat was a caliber above, the Tijuana taco meat was really good. The plates also didn't skimp on cheese and lime as topping. Highly recommend this little nook“

“Cafe Jaavy is a lovely little place with delicious food, coffee drinks and smoothies. I love the panuchos and get them every time I am in Fort Bragg. My husband loves the breakfast burrito and the chorizo breakfast plate. This place is popular, so don't be surprised to have to wait to get a seat, but it us so worth the wait. Very friendly and attentive staff. We are headed to Fort Bragg this week and we will be visiting Cafe Javvy as soon as we can after we arrive.“

“Overtime Brewing is by far my favorite brewery in Fort Bragg. Recently, my husband and I made the 2 1/2 hour drive just for their beer (of course we had to get a few crowlers to go). Totally worth it!“

“This is my second visit here in the past couple months. Visited this past Saturday during dinner time and was able to place my order quickly with friendly staff and helpful service. Had a large order of breadsticks, pizza, sandwiches, and pasta; everything came out to the table hot, at the same time, and delicious! The staff is very friendly and all smiles making for the perfect environment to bring the family and have a great meal! Both visits did not disappoint. Will definitely be back during my next visit to the area as it is becoming a family staple on our trips to Fort Bragg.“

“KUDOS to the staff of La Playa!!! Not only was the food DELICIOUS but the staff so very friendly. We had a large group of 40 with most being youth. The staff were so patient with our group and bottom line were just amazing. I have experienced our group with larger restaurants and La Playa blew them out of the water - the food and service top notch! When my family come to the area La Playa will be a stop for sure, and should we bring our youth group back this will for sure be on the agenda! “This place was perfect for us as we were looking for seafood. The staffs were super friendly, the food wait wasn't long, and the food was spectacular. My daughter ordered Shrimp Scampi, my mom ordered Chicken Fajitas, and my husband and I ordered Brazilian Seafood Stew which was delicious,full of flavors, perfect balance of seafood, veggies, and rice. All 3 dishes were super good. The desert was also really good, flan! I highly recommend this place if you're looking for local food.“
