“Siam is a wonderful, family run restaurant on El Camino Real in Palo Alto. It became one of our favorite family restaurants during the pandemic shutdown and we still order from there at least once a month (more likely every 2 weeks). My wife and one son are vegan, and there is plenty for them to choose from. She very much likes the Rama made with tofu and extra spicy. The Tom Khar soups (coconut milk) come with chicken or with vegetables and tofu. Curries are extra good. I always end up with a yellow curry (with chicken or seafood or calamari) and red curry with beef.

Moreover the couple that runs it are very friendly and accommodating. Two thumbs way up on this one.“

“We went here and had the most amazing tom kha soup. Like in my lifetime I've eaten a lot of Thai Tom kha soups, but this one tops all of them. We are planning to come back a million more times for their soup. It had the sweet, it had the sour, it was the perfect ratio for everything. I'm still reminiscing about it.

We also had other dishes and they were great, packed with a lot of flavors except the cucumber salad which was bland and not so exciting.

“This is a nice Thai BBQ place. We got Phad See-Ew with chicken, Chef's Special Seafood Combo Plate which came with Shrimps, scallops, mussels, squid. Fried shrimp & fried calamari, with a chicken fried rice. Everything was good except I felt the fried calamari and fried shrimp had to much breading on them we ended taking some of the breading off. Overall everything had good flavor, also the prices listed online are not the correct prices in store.“

“We visited Siamese kitchen yesterday for dinner. Spring rolls were good not oily. Pad kee maw was spicy and flavourful. Coconut ice cream was good too. The dishes were a little pricey but may be because of inflation.Overall service was quick and good,tasty food and nice ambience.“

“This is probably one of my new favorite thai places in the bay area! I went here with a friend and an acquaintance, and left with two and a half friends! There is both indoor and outdoors seating, and the servers are so friendly and nice. He overheard us discussing what to get and recommended the Pumpkin Curry and told us it’s definitely sharing size. We decided to get it and omg. I’m usually a pad see ew girlie but maybe I should convert. The pumpkin was so soft and sweet, and the portion size was MASSIVE. 🎃

They put a good amount of chicken, and the other waiter even told us to order less rice. Theyre really told us how to oder perfectly! I will be coming back again, I have to put everyone else on this. Yumyumyum!!!!“

“We are vegetarian, and we had such a great meal! They modified the yellow chicken curry with tofu, and they were nice enough to clarify with us that we didn't want fish sauce!

It was really tasty. The flavors were there. Give this place a chance. It's often missed in PA, but we'll be coming back again for the awesome food!“

Had we known that the pad kee mao didn't come with tofu we would have asked for it, so next time we will, but that's nitpicking. Very fast service, noticeably so. Location great for those in San Mateo or Foster City (and this restaurant is much better in my mind than Sweet Basil, I'm sorry). The pad kee mao dish was huge and we had to take home half of each plate (we got two, next time one will be enough, but we took it home and plan to enjoy later)“

“I enjoyed the food and service. This was my second time and we ordered different items each time. Not disappointed at all! My review is mainly because of their courtesy. We had lost our keys and called them enquiring about it. They called up their servers from the previous night and actually called to let us know that they didn’t have it!!!! How nice is that! “Loved the vegetarian options and there are a good number of them. The spicy veggie fried rice and chuchee tofu curry were both amazing. They were very flavorful and had good amounts of tofu and veggies (and babycorn). Medium spice was good for me. I also tried the crispy corn, it tasted good but wasn't very crispy probably because of takeout.“

The owner, Branden, was extremely generous and kind and made a special delivery to our event, after closing hours. Each tray was generously filled, and we had an abundance of food. I will definitely order from them again. It was a pleasure working with Roost And Roast and I highly recommend them!“
