“Everything we got here was absolutely delicious and authentically crafted. My party of 4 got a feast of food. One I recommend is the Pad Mango as it is something I have never seen on a menu elsewhere. The Massaman curry was probably my second favorite and the Samosas too!To me everything seemed to have a medium spice to it, so be cautious and ask if you can't handle spice. Good lighting for a nice dinner and great service. We live across the bay but will definitely be coming back!“
“Hands down. This is worth all the good reviews.I recently moved to the Bay Area and was looking for a new Thai place to call my favorite. I'm super glad I came to this one!I had the spicy fried rice, and they were all coated well with seasoning. For those who like spice, although this dish is categorized as spicy, it isn't. It's more like a 3 out of 10 for me.All good. Just ask for chili sauce! My partner and I had the mango sticky rice as well.Portion is small but really good if you aren't trying to roll out of a restaurant!I loved that they fried and salted the mung beans on top of the sweet rice. Together with the semi sour mango, the flavor profile is great!Definitely recommend giving it a try.Price is fair for the portion, and the flavors are well done!10/10! Will be back.“
“Upon entering, the setting was cozy, dimly lit, and there were modest decorations. The waiter bowed and greeted us with a friendly smile. Though they were the only one serving, so it was slightly slow; understandable though. They were still very polite and helpful. Food was light, healthy, and tasty. Samosas were probably the healthiest samosas I've ever had. We also ordered the Pad See Ew (vegetable) as well as brown rice with sweet and sour veggie chicken, which were both sooo delicious. It was fairly busy on a Saturday at 7pm...almost a full house. Overall, great experience. The food tasted and felt like exactly what a body needs! So tasty and healthy. Prices were also fair. I would definitely recommend this place.“
“I was introduced here by my relatives and thought the food was decent; however not exceptional enough to fully rate as a 5 star. Despite this, it is a solid restaurant to eat at. I got the coconut curry but thought that it was too rich and too salty. Best to bring a friend or crowd to share with.“
“This was the best Thai food I ever had. It was sort of like Chinese style on the portion size of each dish it's sharing dish. Fried fish was my favorite it was very delicious, it's must have! It has sweetness to it, it balance out. The spicy fish soup was very spicy but it's spicily good! I asked medium spicy but it still pretty spicy so if you cannot handle the spiciness don't get medium level, get lower level for your comfort. The chicken was also pretty good, with their in house peanut dressing, paring very well together. I got the Chai Tea. Their food overall is great very delicious. The server is good, but little bit of English barrier but that's no issue at all that is also mean the food is good. And it was!“
“The food was pretty good, the ingredients were fresh but the prices where high. So overall, while I appreciate this restaurant option in our neighborhood, the price will probably keep me from coming back again. We got the chicken wings (excellent flavor), pad Thai with shrimp (pretty fresh, though lacking excitement), Penang Curry (our least favorite dish because its consistency was more of a soup than a curry), and mango sticky rice (we liked it although it didn’t seem authentic as the mango was hard and tasted more like an apple than a Thai mango). The total including tax and tip was $92.Kid-friendliness: High chairs for kids. Hand wash sink outside of the restroom.“
“I've been coming here for years and the food has always been delicious. I would always recommend coming here to eat because their takeout is always less quantity than what they have when you dine-in. The lunch meals are always a perfect proportion and their dinner never disappoints. There is a plethora of vegetarian options and they are very accommodating to fit dietary restrictions.“
“My go-to for Thai. I've only ordered takeout, but I do it every 1-2 weeks whenever I get a craving. The larb is especially delicious! So spicy and so good. We also enjoy the curries. I think the portions and prices are reasonable for the Bay Area.Parking: Parking lot is kind of cramped“
“Ordered Thai ice tea, yellow curry and pad kee mau and both were absolutely delicious. This is my 8th or more time coming here and this place beats the best Thai restaurants in the Bay Area. Family owned business and they keep the food bar high. Highly recommended!“
“One of my favorite Thai restaurants to go to! This place has incredibly reasonable prices and food quality is really. Food portions are really big and they taste really good. I usually get BBQ Chicken Dinner. It comes with shrimp fried rice with their special sauce. The place is really nice too though they should start replacing old lightbulbs with new ones. It’s pretty dim here, but doesn’t really change the fact that this restaurant is good for eating. Staff are very friendly when they use simple greetings to say hi to customers.I honestly bet that everything there is good based on foods I had here. Definitely will come back for more!“
“Ordered :Pad kee mow : 4/5Thai fried rice : 5/5Spicy fried rice : 6/5Will order again : 5/5 , absolutely. This is currently our favorite thai restaurant. This place is simply amazing for its fried rice, they are the best fried rice we have ever had, and even when we order them gluten-free and vegan, they are miles better than any other place.Hands down our favorite thai place to eat. Downside is that their fried rice are so amazing, we have never had other dishes at this place. The only caveat is that this is small place with limited staff, so if it gets crowded especially with takeout orders, the wait can be pretty long. We had come here on mother's day and it took around 50 minutes for our food to arrive, so best to come here on off hours. Also, the portion is kind of small. Most other places we have leftovers, but the portion size here is about 30% less that the other thai places we have visited.“
“Nice little spot on El Camino, I enjoyed the decor of the booths. Netted Prawns were a good appetizer, Tom Yum was O.K., Pad See-Ew was very nice, Green Curry Halibut was my favorite, Tamarind Prawns were interesting, Panang Curry Chicken was spot on. I'd say 4.5, gotta round up... I did go back the very next day?.“
“I’m not sure why some people have posted poor reviews, but this place is great. It’s a small seemingly family owned and operated restaurant. The woman taking orders is very busy but still kind and thoughtful. I have celiac disease and a severe fish allergy, so eating out is always a challenge. The food was so delicious, spicy and flavorful. I didn’t have any reaction and will be returning often.Dietary restrictions: Celiac, fish and seafood allergies.“
“The food was ok first time going there and definitely trying a second time to see if it changes my mind to great. all restaurants have there bad days so I’m giving it a second chance server was nice and friendly and brought air water and drinks right away .“
“Came here yesterday for a work lunch. We were on a time crunch and we let them know. All our dishes came out quickly and were DELICIOUS! I got a seafood stir fry that was amazing, with fresh scallops, mussels, fish. My coworkers got fried fish which was perfectly cooked. Service was outstanding - very attentive. We are already talking about going back!“
“A good Thai cuisine place. Nothing special and an average thai food. The lemongrass lamb was amazing and the Tom kha soup with Shrimp was also yummy. The pineapple fried rice served in actual pineapple was quite nice presentation. They have enough parking and not busy on Sunday dinner.“
“I’m glad I decided to try Tommy Thai! I picked up take-out for a party of 6, and everyone had good things to say about the food. Ordering through their website was straightforward, and the dishes were ready exactly when I wanted them. I got 5 dishes (two curries, two noodle dishes, and a fried rice) and it was more than enough; the portions were flavorful and truly generous. Plenty of vegetarian options, too!“
“Pumpkin curry? . I have never had Pumpkin curry but now it's one of my favorites. My gosh! It's savory, well-balanced flavors. It tasted like sweet potato but better.I had seafood added and with white jasmine rice, made the meal exquisite. I don't know how this was prepared but hats off to the Chef! This meal ?.“
“Everyone in our group loved their food. I recommend their curry dishes (Mussaman & yellow curry), spring rolls, ginger tea, and roti with cashew sauce appetizer.Vegetarian options: Our party had a vegetarian who noted the variety of vegetarian options on the menu“
“Love the big bowl of beef combination noodle soup. It was very flavorful. The service was great. I came on a Sunday at lunchtime. There was no wait, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I was even reminded of a free Thai iced tea with a yelp check-in. Good iced tea too.“
“The food is super delicious! Especially the samosa and mango sticky rice ?? the service staff was very kind and friendly but there weren't enough people for the crowd that was there so it was difficult to get help. But the 2 people there definitely did their best and were lovely.“
“The space at this location is smaller compared to the original Amarin Thai, and the menu offers a more limited selection of street-style dishes. On a Saturday afternoon, we had no trouble finding a table. We decided to order the Panang curry with rice and the Pad Kee Mao with Tofu. Both dishes were delightful, and the service was prompt.“
“We visited Siamese kitchen yesterday for dinner. Spring rolls were good not oily. Pad kee maw was spicy and flavourful. Coconut ice cream was good too. The dishes were a little pricey but may be because of inflation.Overall service was quick and good, tasty food and nice ambience.“
“My family loves the food for takeout it’s our go-to for dinners as well as parties, and my husband and I love to go and sit at the bar. Sushi is excellent, prices are very fair and chef always has a surprise for us. Big big fans of Asya!!!!“
“I had the most amazing experience here! The ambiance is nice, the food is great and service was fabulous. I visited on a day that included a blessing. It was so enlightening to be eating a meal as the monks prayed. It felt so amazing in their presence. There are no words to explain the atmosphere, you had to be present to really feel it. I had the yellow curry and Thai iced tea. It was very good. I felt really blessed to experience this amazing opportunity. I would definitely recommend.“
“Solid spot for Thai food, great location on University Ave and very comfortable clean ambiance. Lots of seating both indoor and outdoor and really attentive service. Got seated as a party of 7 immediately for a Tuesday dinner. Decent portion sizes, got the pad see ew chicken and it was very filling. I got spice level 4/5 which I would probably say is a typical medium spice level.“
“Our family favorite for local neighborhood Thai food. The service is great, food is tasty. My brother will order his panang curry chicken. Great sauce which you put over rice. We like pad Thai or pad see ew beef depending on the day. We also mix it up with a small broth: tom yum or tom kha with squid. We have curry puff (kind of like an empanada) as well as moo yang (BBQ pork). You can order sticky rice, jasmine or brown rice to go with the meal. Do not leave without sharing a fried banana with honey.“
“This restaurant is consistently amazing!! It’s difficult to pick a favorite dish since their curries and noodle dishes are so spectacular (and I also highly recommend the mango fresh rolls). Beyond the food, everyone that works here is INCREDIBLY kind and friendly. It feels like a family restaurant and makes you feel like part of the family! Go eat lunch or dinner there right away!!“
“If you're a fan of Thai food and you haven't tried the pad Thai at Thai house, you're missing out!Noodles are cooked perfectly and have just the right amount of chewiness. The sauce they use is packed with a bunch of flavor. It's a wonderful balance of sweet sour and savory with a touch of heat to give it a little kick.If you're in the mood for something delicious, be sure to give it a try!“
“The food was actually really flavorful. This place only takes credit card and you have to use a kiosk to order, they do not take your order for you. You can tell most people order online in advance. It did take a little longer than I expected to get my food as there is no seating inside, only outside. So you have to just stand there until it's ready - it was about 10 minute wait and there were 3 people ahead of me. So it's not going to be a fast in and out like a Chipotle.Overall the food was really good with average/medium sized portions. I would recommend this to others if you are in the mood for some Thai!“
“Who isn't all about an aesthetically cute place serving great food? Getting together with my friend, we decided to meet at Farmhouse Kitchen, a place we both enjoy! This was my first time at their Menlo Park location and aside from the space everything else is similar--Instagram-worthy decor, elegantly styled dishes, and warm service. The interior is quite spacious with booths and tables for small and large parties. There's also an outside patio, though the CalTrain is right across and quite loud. We were taken care of throughout our meal by the hospital and friendly workers, without it being overbearing. The thing about Farmhouse Kitchen is that they know how to make their dishes appealing to both the eye and mouth. Dishes include traditional and non-traditional Thai foods. My friend and I both had the Yellow Curry with Tofu and a Side of Jasmine Rice. Though we weren't asked for the spice level, the curry was sweet and flavorful with a lingering spice. It was on the runnier side and I wish we did get more rice to enjoy it to the full extent. Portions were decent and we had leftovers--but note that dishes are on the pricier side. Farmhouse Thai Kitchen provides a cute and creative Thai cuisine dining experience. They have multiple locations around the Bay. Their Menlo Park location is off Merrill Street with limited street parking in the area. This is a place I enjoy going to occasionally but wouldn't seek out.“
