“This is our favorite sandwich shop in Mill Valley and frankly one of our favorite sandwich shops we’ve encountered even while living in SF for nearly 10 years. Sandwiches are a dime a dozen but the best sandwiches have the right bread, right amount of moisture vs dryness, high quality deli meat, and that certain set of ingredients that you’re not quite sure why it’s so much better than other sandwiches with the same ingredients. That is ABSOLUTELY Antone’s East Coast Sub Shop!! My husband and I go almost every weekend, it’s such a treat for us. I’m actually getting hungry for it as I write this review 😅

Also, the owners are the sweetest people ever who clearly love their shop and the community. I was running late to their shop before closing hours and they sweetly left my sandwich out front for me with my name on it bc they knew I was going to arrive after they closed up shop. I also saw a bunch of cars try to get a sandwich but were too late after hours, so clearly this is a local favorite!“

“I was hungry. They fed me. Mom and pop shop right next to the water. Wonderful place to enjoy breakfast or lunch. I got the Avacado toast and to be honest it wasn’t fantastic but it was not bad. It was a better option than fast food when looking for a place to eat on our road trip. I would like to try some other things on the menu before saying the food is good or bad. But overall the place is really cute and I enjoyed the experience“

“One of the best cookies I’ve ever had. My friend bought one to share when we were hanging in the panhandle and after one bite I knew I had to get my own, or two! The perfect combination of chocolaty buttery morsel goodness. Can’t wait for the next time I’m nearby and can get my chocolate chip cookie fix.
The sandwiches are incredible too, such a delicious novelty, and the service was so friendly and personable. Big fan.“

“Not a lot of tables in here and we definitely caught the lunch rush. The people running the little restaurant were very nice and we enjoyed the food. It's not cheap, but with four adults and only three entrees and a salad, we got literally two meals worth of food, each. Lots of leftovers.“

“The Ham & Cheese Deli was my target all along once I realized I've never been here before. I made a special trip here from Napa just to see for myself the quality of the meats, cheeses, produce and breads. And.. I'll tell you, the Ham & Cheese Deli lived up th the hype!
I aways judge a deli with the simplest of ham sandos, it was 5 ☆☆☆☆☆'s and they didn't even try! Amazingly Delicious!“

“There was limited seating, but what they lacked in that department they just kept loading up the meat on my sub! Got the #1 Italian large on sourdough, and 8 inches was plenty because that boy was thick. Very highly quality meat and fresh veggies, highly recommend for anyone in the area who’s looking for a great sandwich.“

“I ordered the ciabatta breakfast sandwich with all the toppings with bacon and it's honestly one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had! The bread was toasted very well and it was nice and crispy, the bacon was flavorful and caramelized, and the other ingredients were very fresh. “This place is so underrated, what a gem in an unassuming place! I had the chicken banh mi and the bread was fresh and had the perfect amount of crunch and the flavors were great. I come from SJ and although I wasn’t say it was the most “authentic” banh mi it was so good and did not feel like a heavy meal. The chicken rice soup had so much umami, would honestly be a treat and I’ll probably crave the cozy comfort of it when I’m sick.

There are a few seats inside and out but seems like a quick pickup and takeout place which works for me! We had the food inside last time though and service was so sweet. They were very attentive even when they were filling orders :)“

“Stopped by B&B and had an amazing bánh mì. The owner was super friendly and welcoming, and you can tell he really cares about both the food and his customers.

The sandwich was huge and packed with fresh ingredients. I also loved hearing that he doesn't carry ingredients over from one day to the next, so everything stays fresh. That attention to quality definitely shows in the taste.

“I visited Oink & Oscar with some coworkers recently for a team lunch. Some of us are local and some were visiting, but it was everyone's first time at O&O. Fortunately, there wasn't a conference or large event happening at Moscone Center, so it was pretty quiet when we arrived - no line to order and just a few people waiting for their food.

I was relieved to see how easy they made the ordering process. With all the sandwich customizations available, they keep it simple by having you fill out a paper order sheet yourself. I decided to keep things straightforward and ordered the first sandwich on their Favorites menu: Oscar's Wild. It was really tasty, and the portion was generous - definitely shareable, especially if you add chips or a different side.

For non-meat eaters, there are also vegetarian and vegan options, which is a plus. Since it was such a nice day, we took our sandwiches to-go and ate at Yerba Buena Gardens nearby. (There are also some outdoor picnic tables available in Yerba Buena Lane if you prefer to stay.)

“I never imagined I’d describe an egg salad sandwich as decadent, but this one is that! The sandwich has three slices of pillowy side and fresh milk bread. In between are generous layers of a creamy tasty egg salad. The eggs are terrific and the mayo adds a velvety texture without feeling oily. There’s nothing extraneous. This one is better than the amazing egg salad you find in the ubiquitous Seven Eleven’s throughout Japan.“

Salads are the strength, the Greek and the chipotle chicken especially, and the California melt and the bagels with lox cover the rest. Weekdays only, eight to three, so it is a work lunch spot. Two more locations on Mission and New Montgomery. Thank you for the quick, good lunches. Five stars.“

“A “Must Stop” for lunch! The best sourdough bread I’ve ever had. Wanted to go back and just order a bunch of bread to take home and spoil the family. The perfect crispy crust and then soft chew center with lots of wonderful savory sourness. I had the Ham & Pastrami. Perfect fresh ingredients. Everything you want in a deli sandwich at a reasonable price. Lots of selections so I’m heading back for future yummy bites. Excellent personal service.“

“The barbecue chicken sandwich is great. Comes with cilantro, carrots, cucumber, pickled radish and chicken. All served on a soft , yet crunchy french roll. This place is not to be missed. Around 11 dollars for a good size sandwich. A deal, and a delicious lunch meal. A few stools to sit on in the windows, or take it to go.“
