It's different enough from what you'd get at a restaurant, and very delicious! We're longtime fans of their pad see ew, pad Thai and (in particular) their khao soi, which they unfortunately run out of sometimes so come early! The staff are very friendly and happy to accommodate pure veg food requests as well.“

“I was born and raised in the Bay and only just recently heard of Pacifica Thai Cuisine. Which is my only regret! How did I not know about this place sooner??

The food was outstanding! We learned it was more traditional, prizing home-cooked tastiness over flashy culinary delivery.

The service was a delight! Everyone was so kind, warm, and friendly and made sure we left with full bellies. And as a little bonus, they gave us plenty of treats to try at home!

The atmosphere was super cute and cozy, without being overly flashy. It was clean, and gave us everything you'd want from an awesome local find.

Chicken satay is nice, the shrimp in sleeping bag app was also really yummy.I ordered the house noodles and this was a great quantity and came out nice and hot. Had we known that the pad kee mao didn't come with tofu we would have asked for it, so next time we will, but that's nitpicking. Very fast service, noticeably so. Location great for those in San Mateo or Foster City (and this restaurant is much better in my mind than Sweet Basil, I'm sorry). The pad kee mao dish was huge and we had to take home half of each plate (we got two, next time one will be enough, but we took it home and plan to enjoy later)“
