“I recently tried Mala Town 麻辣烫, and it was a fantastic experience. The best part is being able to customize your own bowl — you pick exactly what ingredients you want, from fresh vegetables and tofu to different meats and noodles. Everything tasted very fresh and the variety of options was great.

The broth was rich, aromatic, and perfectly spicy. It had that authentic Sichuan-style mala flavor — numbing, fragrant, and deeply satisfying. You can also adjust the spice level, which makes it great whether you prefer mild or extra spicy.

The staff were friendly and the service was quick. The restaurant was clean and well organized, making the whole experience very comfortable. It’s a great spot if you’re craving authentic Chinese comfort food.

“Food here is quite balance regardless of what you get. For example if you order a bento you get a good healthy portion of the protein, plus rice, plus the remaining half being tasty vegetables like pickles or broccoli or a salad. Price is reasonable too.“

“Lived here for ages now but never stopped by here till today.
Only got their chicken, blackened and spicy but both were solid. Also potatoes and rice as the sides which are normal.
For chicken at least their pricing is pretty solid so worth a visit.“

Firstly we were very happy to go to a full vegetarian Asian restaurant. The food tasted good. The only complaints is that the quantity is really less for the money we pay. The plates they serve us to eat the food is really small. The menu describes the dish in a certain way but do not have some ingredients. For eg: Pad thai did not have the bean sprouts, the thai sizzler mentioned pineapple rice but we got a plain basil rice or something of that sort. The person who waited our table was really sweet but a bit forgetful. He brought out the wrong dish to the wrong table. He took forever to get the food for some customers. But I could clearly see he was trying really hard. So hopefully the service gets better :)

PS: A special mention to the people who own and work there at the restaurant. My mom and I were a bit scared when we saw a homeless as we exited the restaurant. We went back into the restaurant and the manager and people working there immediately came out, asked if he tried to harm us or if we have to call the police, made sure we got into our car safe. Thank you guys :) Looking forward to visiting th restaurant again :)“
