“Had a nice evening at Dominicos on the lake this evening. My wife and I had reservations and were fortunate to ask Kory for a patio table which he accommodated. Michael took us to our table and was very kind and professional. Pedro came by with our bread and water and said hello. He is one of the hardest working individuals at the restaurant. Eddie our server came by and took our orders with a bottle of Austin Hope and bread to start. My wife ordered a chicken breast salad and I had the chef's special stroganoff which was amazing. Unfortunately my wife's salad came out 30 minutes after my stroganoff which was a cardinal sin in the restaurant business and we mentioned it was not acceptable. Eddie apologized and we also had Steven, the GM, come by and also apologize and ensure the salad would be out shortly. The salad was delivered, of course after I ate my entree and Steven dropped off and apologetic gift certificate for an appetizer during our next visit. We also ordered an additional beef stroganoff plus an order of meatballs to take home for tomorrow. We undertake things happen and it's certainly nice to see the restaurants busy again but a party of two receiving their entrees 30 minutes apart is not conducive with quality service. I am guessing the chef either misplaced the order or overlooked the obvious and we hope next time we will not have such issues as the restaurant is very good and in a fantastic location. Michael also came back around and stated he was concerned about this mishap and would look into this. As a retired government administrator and former restaurant manager in my college days I expect the simple things like entrees being delivered at the same time to be in sync with quality service and dining. We will be back and see if in fact this was an isolated incident. Good food and ambiance plus. Start with the cashier, I really can’t say I ever had anyone serve me with a better attitude than the guy who helped me and I say right by the register and he kept that amazing attitude with all customers. At first I had 3 chicken tacos from the taco Tuesday deal (which I might say isn’t cheap, but quality costs) which were surprisingly good because I don’t love shredded chicken. The chicken was so good I decided to get an asada one as well just to make sure they really are as good as it seems. They crushed it, asada taco came to over 7$ after taxes and it glad to say I’ll be happy to pay that price anytime anywhere to get that same taco!”

The dining room is clean, and even the men's restroom was immaculate. Nothing kills an appetite faster than walking into a restaurant bathroom that smells like dirty mop water. Not the case here.
Our server was extremely attentive. Move your dish an inch and it was cleared before you even noticed. That kind of service matters.
Honestly, I struggled to find a single negative thing to say about the food or the experience itself. So I want to be clear: if a neighbor asked me where to find good, close sushi in Ladera Ranch, I would send them here without hesitation.
But there's something I've been thinking about since walking out, and maybe other people feel the same way.
Half the fun of a sushi bar has always been the connection. Knowing your chef. Picking up a conversation where you left off last time. The kind of familiarity where you end up buying your chef a drink because that's just the relationship you've built. It's one of the things that makes a neighborhood sushi spot feel like a neighborhood sushi spot.
That experience doesn't exist here. The chefs are skilled and clearly focused, but there was no eye contact, no conversation, and from what I observed, heads buried in phones between orders. It felt almost like a policy. And maybe it is. Maybe that's intentional. But it's a noticeable absence.
The food doesn't even have to be perfect for a place to earn that kind of loyalty. Some of the spots people drive across town for built their reputation on the relationship as much as the rolls. I miss that.
So: great food, great service, spotless restaurant. Absolutely worth going. I just hope someday the sushi bar feels like a sushi bar again.”

What everybody calls professional staff with great service, is actually the PERSIAN HOSPITALITY which no Persian restaurant would last without it. Even when you are waiting for your takeout order, they offer you complimentary tea while you wait. Persian moms take their cooking seriously and if the food at a Persian restaurant doesn't meet their high standards, they wouldn't load up the whole family to go there for family dinners and catered parties.”

We have always loved Five Guys and missed the one that used to be near our Dana Point home. We happened to be near this MV location after my husband’s doctors appointment nearby. We went in and started to place our order. I thought to ask whether the buns had sesame seeds on them. It’s a small issue for most of us but for my husband it’s a now serious no-no health issue. I thought I would need to cancel the order. But the young woman taking our order spoke with the manager. She came back and suggested we use two bun bottoms! Perfect solution! “I’m vegan and I was so delighted to see that they had Vegan 🎾 🌱 Chia pudding for breakfast. It’s all organic 25 g of protein and it’s absolutely delicious. It taste like tiramisu. They have other flavors as well but I got there right at seven when they open and the girls greeted me with a smile, answered my questions about milk alternatives, and what ingredients were in the syrups. I’m very picky and they accommodated my every request with super helpful spirits, I will definitely be coming back here and making this one of my stops.

“I would like to share my positive experience with the two Barista's Aaliyah and Brooklyn that were working, kind professional, and very sweet. The coffee was super fresh Brooklyn took the time to explain Gregory's coffee beans process which I thought was really cool. The girls seem to have pride in their work- It showed!”

I would say the hot level is not overly hot compared to some other culture restaurants. Okay to give it a try if you usually go only up to medium spicy. Food wait was reasonable.”
