“Thai Thyme is cozy Thai restaurant that specialize in authentic Thailand cuisine. It’s located in Monrovia. They have vast selection of food and drinks at a reasonable price. Interior looks charming with high ceiling and exposed brick. Atmosphere was relaxing.

We have walked passed by Thai Thyme for years but never hand a chance to check-in until tonight. Because it tends to be packed due to its popularity. Anyway, after we perused their menu; I ordered a Chicken Pad Won Sen, Spring Rolls, iced tea and water. The noodle was tasty, moist and flavorful albeit a bit salty. Similarly, spring rolls were delightful. Drinks were good.

Staff were very attentive, engaging and respectful. Prices were fair and competitive. Atmosphere was relaxing and has a good vibe. Overall, it’s a nice Thai spot in my favorite town of Monrovia. I recommend you visit.”

“If you have not had the chance to dine in at Girasol, I highly recommend it. The chicharon with guac is a must as a starter, make sure you get some of the spicy sauce. As for a recommendation for a meal, well you have to come in and try. We loved the chilaquiles, the carne en su juego, the menudo, and the breakfast burrito. If you have a sweeter taste, the French toast, the pancakes and the crepe are awesome. But as mentioned before, you just have to come in and try everything.”

The waitress kept checking on us. I recommend this place if ur in the SGV it’s close to the freeway (210) a hole in the wall that gives high maintenance and caliber restaurants a run for their money. “We've been regular customers of the Monrovia Blaze since the first opened for business over 10 years ago. It's by far our favorite Blaze location. The pizza is consistently very good and cooked to just the right char. What really sets this location apart from the others is Marco, the store manager. He always greets us with a smile and engages us in nice conversation and demonstrates the unique ability to motivate his employees and leads by example. I've seen him doing every single job in that place at some point or another and always wearing a smile. He is a great assest to the company. Keep up the great work!”

They have good lighting, a larger modern menu board with a great selection. They had light hearted music playing and a big tv to watch the Dodger games. I was surprised to see Birria on the menu so had to get that for sure! I think I will may this my goto spot a couple days a week so I can eat better for less and no dishes to wash.”

“A gem in the city of Monrovia. It’s in a small plaza next to a laundromat, near a liquor store and across from another taco stand—this taco stand across the way doesn’t serve fish tacos. This place has a good variety on their menu, but the prized item is their fish tacos. Quite tasty and delicious with green or red (for the more spicy palettes) salsa. A good place to stop off for a snack or meal. Great and friendly service, especially from Mario.”

“We were very hungry, ordered delivery. I didn't know they delivered. The pepperoni pizza was good, good taste, good crust. The antipasto salad was good, although not really an antipasto. I ordered the meatballs and thought they were great. They came in a dish with marinara, onions, green peppers. The marinara was very flavorful. I put the garlic bread to good use by thoroughly cleaning the dish to get all the marinara. Less expensive Than ordering from Domino's, and much MUCH better. We've always like this place.”

“I was craving Korean bbq but bowl style and this spot was nearby.

I ordered their marinated short rib bowl and I added extra proteins of spam, an egg and chicken with no rice, all salad. It was a phenomenal lunch overall. The flavor was definitely there. It was definitely pricey after I added all the extras, but still worth it.

I’d definitely come back here again to try their other menu items.”

“We have been going to Boba Box since it was still doing the soft opening. We drive about 15-20 mins just to come here. My family found a new boba place that actually accommodate everybody drinking favorite. I don’t have to drive to Rowland Heights for Half And Half then go to West Covina for BYOB and OneZo. Then go to Dunkin Donuts for Matcha latte. Boba Box is amazing and drinks always comes out the same taste every time. Just the right coldness and amount of toppings. Keep it up the good work.”

I usually get a #5 beef/chicken combo, extra veg, teriyaki and curry sauce on the side. It's a lot of food so I try my best to eat half for 2 lunches. Their ice tea is good, most places tend to have a dish rag taste.ive been going there for over 30yrs and it's always the same delicious quality. Unlike fast food chains that charge more and more with quality dropping every year.

Not your typical walk in and order or go through the drive thru, it was more of like a small stand that you can drive by, or you could walk up to, but they had outdoor seating. It seemed like it'd be a great place to hang out. Unfortunately we couldn't stay, because we had a busy work schedule while we're were there. But maybe in the future, if I find myself in the area, I will definitely go back and "take a load off fanny" and hang out.”

“I knew by the look of the place that they would have great fried zucchini which I saw on the menu. Sure enough, I got a SMALL order, mind you, not a large and I was definitely surprised at how much there was. You can see by the photos. Not only was there a large amount of zucchini but it was very long strips, longest I've ever seen. Thought it would take at least 8-10 minutes to complete the order, but got it within 5 minutes .

We also ordered chocolate shakes. The 4 of us agreed, they were wonderful! Very chocolatey, unlike fast food, which always ends up being a lot of vanilla ice cream with very little chocolate sauce. I'm sure the shake had chocolate ice cream and chocolate sauce, which for a chocolate lover is heaven . Runs neck to neck with Bun N Burger's fantastic shakes. Cost slightly more but well worth it. When your shakes are heavy to carry, you can assume that they are very creamy and yummy.

Lots of variety on menu, something for everyone it seems. Any type of food, from Gyros to Shrimp Tacos, with an tasty sounding Avocado BLT thrown in (ABLT). (Having that next time I'm here♡.) We could smell the onion rings frying from outside and it was very alluring. I believe they serve breakfast all day also.

But I digress , I should say a little about the restaurant itself. KInd of vintage interior, diner from the '50s type look. Sparse decor but that lends to the look . Pretty shade of blue, which made it stand out. Very clean. You place & pick up your order at the counter, you may have to stand in line. The line moved quickly when we were there, 2 registers with staff at each. Previously with my disability, I wasn't able to sit without cushion of some sort. Seating here in both chairs & booths is hard, no cushioning, which is the only complaint I have. Decent amount of seating for its location. Located in small center with shops, they're in the corner with shared parking lot. Plenty of parking during the day when we were there.
Casual, friendly, polite, both staff & other customers. I think that says a lot about a restaurant, if customers are satisfied, they are smiling & friendly, too.

“I was visiting with my Mom the other day, and we were looking for a place to get a quick bite to eat. I am very glad we stopped here! They have a lot of choices, and we both ordered the mixed Hawaiian BBQ meals. It arrived in a disposable container, and it was full to the brim with meat, rice, macaroni salad, and vegetables. So delicious, and enough for both of us to take home for dinner. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are very generous, and most of all, delicious!”

“This is one of the most efficiently run Starbucks I've been to in a long while. The baristas are all friendly and the tables/chairs/countertops/floors are all clean and bright. Even the restrooms are super clean. The service was fast and the coffee tasted just right.

The only negative thing (which I didn't deduct stars for Sbux itself, bc Starbucks cannot control) are the one-off rude customers who hog multiple seats/tables near the outlets along the wall, preventing others from access to the outlets.

If Starbucks would power the center and window-side tables, this would literally be the best Starbucks ever.

Vegetarian options: There are multiple options for vegetarians. Just ask.

Parking: Lots of open free parking.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are ADA parking spaces and ready access into the cafe. There it's a dedicated ADA table, but often used by others, but there are many other tables that have enough space to accommodate a wheelchair.”

“I wanted to write a review of the arepa I had!It appears to be that there is no set location for this food vendor, but their business is registered at the Monrovia City Hall because they sell at the Farmer's Market on Friday evenings.Firstly, really delicious!My arepa had shredded beef, with panela cheese, mixed veggies, and maduros (fried banana).Soooo good!Real authentic arepa.The shredded beef was seasoned perfectly, warm and juicy, but not overwhelming nor drenching. The panela had a good al dente rubber feeling to it, which was not hard and not too soft. Alongside the fresh spinach and lettuce and warm starchy fried banana slices. Everything within a warm maize dough bread.It's all sooo good!5/5”

“I can only report on the al pastor tacos. Beautiful little Street tacos with big flavor. I was so proud of myself because I ordered in Spanish for the first time and didn't break character and I got exactly what I ordered.

My favorite part about this truck is it has a little stand-up bar I can eat at, as well as some little stools. I like to stand when I eat.

They also have a wide array of condiments including hot sauce, pickled veggies, onions and cilantro and my favorite, the pickled onions and orange habanero. I like It Hot. 💥🌶️🔥

And as an added bonus he always tosses in a roasted jalapeno and white onions. They're beautifully sweet and caramelized and the jalapeno is delicious.

I always ride my f800gs there and leave it parked in front of the truck. I walk up into the shops in the shopping center to walk off my food. It's nice to have a local Taco truck.

“As Wendy's is a fast food chain restaurant, there is a different scale to rate them against. In the area I usually go to Wendy's because the food is consistent and the drink machines have all of the options available and not 5 of the 35 (not necessarily 35, but the selections are all available). This was the first time they didn't have tea for iced tea which I usually get so I assumed that the delivery of the product was the problem. I had a bacon assist go burger which was good and lemonade which were good. The speed of service meant the meat wasn't cooked to order but already cooked, however it didn't taste like it was made quite awhile ago and kept for hours in a warming oven. I will go back again and hope to see the tea next time.”

The chicken fingers are always hot, crispy, and perfectly seasoned. The Cane’s sauce is addictive—I could dip just about anything in it! The toast is buttery and delicious, and I always ask for extra. Staff was friendly and quick, even during the lunch rush. Great spot for a quick, satisfying meal. Highly recommend!”
