“Cannot say enough great things about our experience working with “the cake sisters.” They made the most gorgeous cake for our daughter’s baptism. Not only was the cake stunningly beautiful, it was also delicious. All of our guests raved about it and said it was one of the best cakes they had ever eaten. (We ordered the confetti cake with vanilla Bavarian and strawberry layers — to die for!) The service is also exceptional. I planned this party from across the country with very little knowledge of the area/local vendors. Cheryl was delightful to work with and so helpful and accommodating. I sent her some of my favorite cake inspiration photos, to which she replied that they could do all of them!! They are obviously super talented. I was on my way to my friend son's 1st birthday party when my two tier cake collapsed midway (the weather was sooo hot and I was driving fromRiverside to Sherman Oaks)!! I was desperate to just find a plain cake and looked for a nearby cake shop and found this place. The three ladies that was in the store was so nice and made the cake for me IN 30 MINUTES!!! I did not expect them to make such a beautiful cake with such time, how much more if this is not rushed!!! “We absolutely love Susie Cakes. Every cupcake and cake that we have gotten there have been so delicious. The chocolate flourless cupcake is probably my favorite, it is like biting into a chocolate pillow.Today we tried the candy cane cake, champagne cupcake and mimosa cupcake. The candy cane cake is chock full of candy cane pieces. The mimosa had a light orange flavor and the champagne cupcake had a very light flavor in the frosting.“

Very cute shop, service is excellent, presentation of cupcakes is excellent and they taste great too!I haven't tried their made to order cakes yet.They opened in 2013. “New ownership since the last time I stopped by a few years ago, but happy to see someone move into the spot. More of a classic panederia now vs the modern Mexican that was there before, but still very good. The new owners are definitely “mom and pop”, very hard working and very friendly. They didn’t have what I was looking for, which were the mini churros with dipping sauce for my office mates, so I tried a few other options and everyone seemed to love what I brought in. They gave me a card and said I can pre-order anything I wanted, including the mini churros sans dipping sauce as well as other mini versions of their regular pastries. Will definitely be back!“
“What an absolute gem this shop is. We had our wedding cake made by Pastries by Nancy & oh boy it did not disappoint. When we had to go try cakes from different vendors, all we could talk about was the cakes from this shop. The owner was also very helpful & knowledgeable about the cakes & what could & wouldn’t work. I remember being most excited to have cake at the wedding more than the other parts of the wedding! We love their cake so much we are going to come back for a slice every year on our anniversary.“

“Amazing cake! Ordered a birthday cake for my mom…berry shortcake. It was beautiful, moist and delicious. I left it out a little over hour and a half to allow it to get room temperature. I was instructed todo this to bring out moistness and flavor. Definitely worked. All the guests loved it.“
“Great ice cream! Cold stone never fails on providing great service, however staff here is very very low. Probably just one or two people are serving, so expect longer wait times than usual if there’s a lot of people. Other than that, staff is friendly and do their best to be efficient and quick. I notified that they support local business, if you buy a pizza nearby (business on flyer) you’ll get a discount there at cold stone upon showing receipt.“
