“My experience at Dave's hot chicken was good. The staff are extremely friendly and social and the atmosphere is warm and exiting with amazing outdoor seating. Me and my peer got a soft drink, fries, tenders, and a chicken slider all of them extra spicy. Extra spicy is like a 7/10 for me (my spice tolerance is kinda mid but better than the average). The fries and chicken were crunchy but the food is quite greasy. Chicken is heavily seasoned. We went finished the food at around 1 pm and our stomachs started hurting. Its 10:35 PM right now and my stomach still hurted. Both had an irritated stomachand I had to take medicine for the pain to go away. Overall, would reccomend to people that can take the spice and are enjoyers of heavily seasoned and greasy foods. However, people who cannot tolerate spice, grease, and HEAAAVILY seasons foods should not come here. Praying for anyone who's stomach gets upset by this chicken ?‍???“

“Amazing, fresh, flavorful food. I've always had a great meal here...lunch takeout and also catering for a small party. I highly recommend all of their kebabs, the mujadara platter and the fattoush salad. The owner is soo nice, always gives me a bottle of water when I pickup my order.Today, I got the fattoush salad, grilled chicken breast kebab, and the ground beef kebab. The kebabs come with some nice accoutrements...pickles, pepperoncini peppers, and cucumber. Soo delicious.This place is a neighborhood gem.“

“I came in with my friend. I was in the mood to something new I've never had Egyptian before. The chef was so helpful she gave me most excellent recommendations the lamb melted off the bone and chef even suggested to put the molokhia on the rice which was the best suggestion the rice was delicious blend of grains and the molokhia brought the flavor out. The entire dining experience from the greeting to the food was sublime. Furthermore the falafel was divine. Perfectly blended flavors and fluffy on the inside crunchy on the outside. It was in a word, heavenly.“

The LAGHMAN hand pulled noodles with stir fried peppers and beef has a wonderful flavor and the noodles are very springy, you can even see the slight difference of thickness which proves they are hand pulled. the PEARLED NOODLES are kind of like a chopped version of the LAGHMAN - spoonfuls of beefy and chewy noodle goodness, kind of like a rich pasta dish! I would recommend all four of these dishes, they are the perfect size and amount for 5 people.Dessert: their BAKLAVA is one of the best I've had, lots of layers that shatter through to plenty of pistachio filling, nutty and not too sweet like a lot of other baklavas! Delicious end to a delicious meal :)So glad they're in the area and will always recommend this place to friends (or take them here!).“

“This place is fun. The gyros are piled full of meat. I have visited twice now. The people are nice and the place is clean. The only odd thing is that my fries tasted like fish. I noticed that they offer fish and chips, so you might want to keep the fries and fish in separate deep fryers.“

I just love the wonderful combination of flavors and fragrances from the tropical spices used in the cooking. Additionally, the owner Lily is very friendly and attentive to all guests. “Food came out very fast, customer service was on point, the host was very friendly and talkative. Host suggested the spicy noodles which turned out to be great! I had to ask for more water while eating the noodles but they were really good. Noodles were medium heat, I don’t think I could handle “hot” and I like spicy foods. I had the fried cauliflower, spicy noodle dish with tofu, white rice and garbanzo bean dish, and the Prata dish, everything was very well made and had great flavor. Service was quick and friendly.“

Do yourselves a favor and order the hand-pulled noodle dishes! The Mongolian Beef was also good. The stuffed bread was a bit bland for our taste (I am Iranian and we have some amazing breads...). “My wife and I found the place by googling halal fish and chips decided to give this place a try and very glad we did. The menu was excellent we had chicken and waffles and fish and chips everything was delicious. The brewed African coffee was excellent, only wish we had a few more days to try out everything on the menu. The brothers were warm and friendly to us. “Great Halal Persian place located in Pasadena! Great location , fast service and best of all great food ! Ordered a variety of kabobs , lamb shank , hummus , rice. excellent taste nothing was dry and perfectly grilled. My favorite was the lamb shanks , followed by the kobbideh skewers. Can recommend enough !“
