“Great atmosphere and lots of food choices. They use fresh ingredients, and the dishes have rich, aromatic flavors. Their spice level is no joke! (Coming from a rural area with limited Asian cuisine options, we’re used to “medium spicy” meaning barely spicy and “level 1” meaning no spice at all - so pardon me lol.)“

“If you have not had the chance to dine in at Girasol, I highly recommend it. The chicharon with guac is a must as a starter, make sure you get some of the spicy sauce. As for a recommendation for a meal, well you have to come in and try. We loved the chilaquiles, the carne en su juego, the menudo, and the breakfast burrito. If you have a sweeter taste, the French toast, the pancakes and the crepe are awesome. But as mentioned before, you just have to come in and try everything.“

“Very comfortable place to be in. Everyone was relaxed and you could hear the staff in the kitchen communicating getting the orders out. They have good lighting, a larger modern menu board with a great selection. They had light hearted music playing and a big tv to watch the Dodger games. I was surprised to see Birria on the menu so had to get that for sure! I think I will may this my goto spot a couple days a week so I can eat better for less and no dishes to wash.“

“Alitalia Pizza is literally the only place we pick up pizza! The crust is delicious as is their sauce and fresh ingredients, definitely different than your average pizza. They also have many other options and we often order a salad on the side. Their salads are large and always, consistently fresh. They don’t cut corners and the owners and staff could not be more accommodating and delightful! Great local business to support and a hidden gem if you have not tried it!“

“A gem in the city of Monrovia. It’s in a small plaza next to a laundromat, near a liquor store and across from another taco stand—this taco stand across the way doesn’t serve fish tacos. This place has a good variety on their menu, but the prized item is their fish tacos. Quite tasty and delicious with green or red (for the more spicy palettes) salsa. A good place to stop off for a snack or meal. Great and friendly service, especially from Mario.“

I usually get a #5 beef/chicken combo, extra veg, teriyaki and curry sauce on the side. It's a lot of food so I try my best to eat half for 2 lunches. Their ice tea is good, most places tend to have a dish rag taste.ive been going there for over 30yrs and it's always the same delicious quality. Unlike fast food chains that charge more and more with quality dropping every year.

“This restaurant serves a lot of dishes I had never even heard of! I tried the Khao klook ga-pi (fermented shrimp rice bowl) - definitely took a chance there but it was absolutely delicious! “I was craving Korean bbq but bowl style and this spot was nearby.

I ordered their marinated short rib bowl and I added extra proteins of spam, an egg and chicken with no rice, all salad. It was a phenomenal lunch overall. The flavor was definitely there. It was definitely pricey after I added all the extras, but still worth it.

The thing is I messaged a week ago on Insta and they held my spot. When we arrived we were treated like royalty .Food and wine was amazingly accompanied with great hospitality. “Really enjoyed the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup with the chewy Knife Cut noodles. Staff were friendly and attentive. Order came out quickly and fresh. I counted at least five beef chunks in my bowl, which is just awesome! I also ordered the Honey Lemon Tea, which was refreshing and just right (not too sweet). Seating/atmosphere was comfortable. Overall a great place to have a nice bowl of beef noodle soup in the area. Will definitely be returning often!“

“Oto-Oto is exceptional in every way. The food is fantastic and considering the quality, reasonably priced. The presentation of the food is beautiful without being over the top. The staff is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and timely without being intrusive. The chefs are professional trained sushi chefs. The atmosphere is lovely, warm, and interesting-- note the giant bonsho (bell) hanging from the cool, high open ceiling and the display of bottles at the bar for example. It is quiet so you can hear yourselves talk. It stays busy without ever feeling cramped or rushed. If you look at the clientele, you will know it is a top-notch place because they are locals and people who keep coming back time and time again -- the staff recognizes and remembers them and there are warm exchanges between them.We often get take-out and one night I sat and just observed the interplay of staff -- it was like watching a beautiful dance as they wove in and out -- making drinks, taking orders, delivering food, and the chefs with hands flying as they made dish after dish and without breaking stride, they smiled through it all - it was better than watching most of what is on television. We love Oto-Oto in every way and highly recommend it.

They are always accommodating to the food and they have such fast service as well . Truly a hidden gem ! They’re red bean buns are AMAZING!! Perfect softness ! Additionally they’re Hawaiian BQQ mix, Hawaiian BQQ chicken , and Hawaiian NQQ beef are ALL SO GOOD!! Also their spam musubi is SOO AMAZING (my personal favorite) .
