“Great atmosphere and lots of food choices. They use fresh ingredients, and the dishes have rich, aromatic flavors. Their spice level is no joke! (Coming from a rural area with limited Asian cuisine options, we’re used to “medium spicy” meaning barely spicy and “level 1” meaning no spice at all - so pardon me lol.)“

Service was always friendly upon pickup, and I rated the atmosphere five stars b/c it's a no frills place that concentrates on making tasty pies for pickup and delivery. #priorities Our family grew up there in the '80s and '90s and had no idea Alitalia had existed, but I'm grateful we know now and relieved that my parents have an easy option for lunch/dinner. (The pesto pizza with chicken was also very tasty!)“

“Very comfortable place to be in. Everyone was relaxed and you could hear the staff in the kitchen communicating getting the orders out. They have good lighting, a larger modern menu board with a great selection. They had light hearted music playing and a big tv to watch the Dodger games. I was surprised to see Birria on the menu so had to get that for sure! I think I will may this my goto spot a couple days a week so I can eat better for less and no dishes to wash.“

“A gem in the city of Monrovia. It’s in a small plaza next to a laundromat, near a liquor store and across from another taco stand—this taco stand across the way doesn’t serve fish tacos. This place has a good variety on their menu, but the prized item is their fish tacos. Quite tasty and delicious with green or red (for the more spicy palettes) salsa. A good place to stop off for a snack or meal. Great and friendly service, especially from Mario.“

“If you have not had the chance to dine in at Girasol, I highly recommend it. The chicharon with guac is a must as a starter, make sure you get some of the spicy sauce. As for a recommendation for a meal, well you have to come in and try. We loved the chilaquiles, the carne en su juego, the menudo, and the breakfast burrito. If you have a sweeter taste, the French toast, the pancakes and the crepe are awesome. But as mentioned before, you just have to come in and try everything.“

“I love this place, the family is so incredibly nice.
I usually get a #5 beef/chicken combo, extra veg, teriyaki and curry sauce on the side. It's a lot of food so I try my best to eat half for 2 lunches. Their ice tea is good, most places tend to have a dish rag taste.ive been going there for over 30yrs and it's always the same delicious quality. Unlike fast food chains that charge more and more with quality dropping every year.

I ordered their marinated short rib bowl and I added extra proteins of spam, an egg and chicken with no rice, all salad. It was a phenomenal lunch overall. The flavor was definitely there. It was definitely pricey after I added all the extras, but still worth it.

“Oto-Oto is exceptional in every way. The food is fantastic and considering the quality, reasonably priced. The presentation of the food is beautiful without being over the top. The staff is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and timely without being intrusive. The chefs are professional trained sushi chefs. The atmosphere is lovely, warm, and interesting-- note the giant bonsho (bell) hanging from the cool, high open ceiling and the display of bottles at the bar for example. It is quiet so you can hear yourselves talk. It stays busy without ever feeling cramped or rushed. If you look at the clientele, you will know it is a top-notch place because they are locals and people who keep coming back time and time again -- the staff recognizes and remembers them and there are warm exchanges between them.We often get take-out and one night I sat and just observed the interplay of staff -- it was like watching a beautiful dance as they wove in and out -- making drinks, taking orders, delivering food, and the chefs with hands flying as they made dish after dish and without breaking stride, they smiled through it all - it was better than watching most of what is on television. We love Oto-Oto in every way and highly recommend it.

Double Shrimp brown rice and spring mix cucumber pineapple kale edamame and cilantro spicy mayo and sweet chilli sauce and it’s straight perfection! I added avocado and all the nuts toppings and its super refreshing crisp and fresh! Best part is you feel good after eating this amazing food! I’ll definitely be coming back for more!“

“I’ve been eating here since I was in high school a long time ago . The food has always been amazing and has always been perfect. They are always accommodating to the food and they have such fast service as well . Truly a hidden gem ! They’re red bean buns are AMAZING!! Perfect softness ! Additionally they’re Hawaiian BQQ mix, Hawaiian BQQ chicken , and Hawaiian NQQ beef are ALL SO GOOD!! Also their spam musubi is SOO AMAZING (my personal favorite) .
