“Great burgers, shakes, and pies, when you get the craving. This place is great, they are open late, it's clean, food is made fresh to order. The head guy Cesar is great, always friendly and aims to please the customer with a smile. I wish more places had helpers like this. If you're in Moraga, stop in.“

“Everything I had exceeded my expectation including curly fries. Bulgogi burger was intriguing but I had to try classic cheeseburger also.

Both were SO GOOD. Cheeseburger was rich, smoky, cheesy goodness with drizzling au jus just about every bite. And bulgogi burger… omg it is amazing. The sweet sautéed onion and then meaty saltiness with crunchy French roll. I took so many bites and wanted more. It’s pretty good sized burger too. I normally leave some buns when I eat burgers or sandwiches, but bun to meat ratio was on point.

Also, I couldn’t help but notice how spanking clean this place is despite looking nostalgic old school establishment. Tables, countertops, salt and pepper shakers, floor, chairs, ketchup spouts, etc all clean. No stickiness, no dust, no dried sauce.

Full of locals, attentive and personal service to everyone dining here. I’m not a local here but it’s worth coming back for.

“I tried the double burger which is half pounder with caramelized onion and dill pickles. Every ingredients make a fabulous harmony in my mouth and the tater tots were “THE FINALE” I’m gonna come back for the Warriors Breakfast burger which has sunny side up egg on burger!!!!!!! And cheese curds!!!! Gotta check this place frequently. Love can’t describe this place, I wanna gate-keep this place.

“I have heard about this restaurant from friends so I went to try it, it is a sit-eat-and-go place I have tried the Persian burger and it taste good it looks like a kafta kabab taste. As a Lebanese and food lover I was impressed with the hummus the taste was good but the Tabboule didn’t meet my expectations because you shouldn’t have cucumber and lettuce as also it needs more lemon juice.
It was a nice experience, and I would go again if got the chance.“

“If you are interested in old school burgers where you can still order medium rare, and the burgers actually come medium rare, this the place. The burgers are huge and of high quality beef. The price includes fries, but I like the fact that with a very small upcharge I was able to sub 1/2 sweet potato fries and half onion rings, also very good and made to order. Finally, their milkshakes are great. I took one star off for atmosphere, but that’s because there was a basekball game going on and was a bit loud; however the other patrons were watching the game so I can’t really fault them. The guy that runs the place is always so friendly and appreciative of my business.“

“When you order 3 whole pies online and pay in full at that time, 6 hours prior to your pickup time, then you arrive to find out they don’t have one of the flavors you ordered - it’s not right. Someone could have called and said they were out of that particular pie. They had plenty of time to let me know (6 hours) but I had about 3 minutes in line to pick out a replacement. Disappointing. I will say that the pies were delicious even though we didn’t get the one we initially ordered.“

“OMG this place is good! I’m usually not excited about a grill but do get excited about cheese and boy does this place have cheese in spades!

I got the MeltBurger because I couldn’t resist the oozing cheese in the picture. The burger looked just like the picture and tasted amazing! Juicy and full of flavor!

My wife got the Mac Daddy which, honestly, doesn’t really sound all that doo - carbs on carbs but it was SO GOOD! A great cheesy flavor and then bacon to boot. Yummy!

We topped our meal off with the garlic parm fries that were perfectly cooked and generous amounts of Parmesan on top and garlic throughout!

I highly recommend.

“I almost didn't go in because it looked like a hole in the wall on the outside. But I walked in and found that it is one of the cleanest restaurants I've been in for its size. They did not have gluten-free buns, but the cook made a fantastic lettuce wrapped burger. I'm really glad I went in. The food and service are all great!“

It was a fresh, well put together cheeseburger, not big and heavy, greasy, or sloppy like other burgers out there. I didn't feel guilty about eating this. It came with fries included. The fries were nice and hot. Wait time was a bit longer than expected, but the end result was a delicious meal. The restaurant and kitchen appeared to be very clean. Staff was friendly and kept me updated on how much longer the wait would be.“

“Delicious but somewhat expensive burgers in the Gourmet Ghetto that is in North Berkeley. Barneys is a small chain of hamburger restaurants that are primarily in the Oakland Berkeley area. We didn't know, but now we do.

For perspective, a Barneys burger costs $17.50, but it's a really good burger. Burgers are cooked to order with very good quality beef. Fries, onion rings, and other sides are ordered separately. Whereas the burgers were excellent, the onion rings and fried vegetables (their version of tempura) were on the oily side. Keep this in mind.

Their menu is expansive, and they offer salads and other items. We stuck to the burgers.

Service is friendly and efficient. Parking can be challenging, but there are metered spaces about a block away near Safeway.

The restaurant is clean and well maintained. The shiny sign out front gives a slight indication of the pride they take in the establishment... or maybe we're just being too generous.

In any case, on a nice day, try to snag a table on the patio and bite into a juicy, well crafted burger..all while soaking in the liberal elite vibe of North Berkeley It's a nice experience.“

We also got the cheesecake strawberry and oommggg it was so good I loved it, we got one slice which was $10 I think that’s a bit pricey compared to other cheesecakes.“
