“Every time I visit GK Pastry in Mountain View, I usually get the jalapeño cheddar bread (so satisfyingly good, toasted or not), but this time I tried the tomato cheddar bread—crunchy exterior, soft and chewy interior. Awesome toasted. My other go-to is the chocolate jar cake. The chocolate they use is delicious, not too sweet. This time I had the mixberry jar cake. A nice, change-up. Never disappointed. Definitely try and support this local bakery! They opened a new location in Los Altos, too.“

“First time ordering from this place. Ordered a Black Forest cake for my niece birthday. Hands down the best eggless in Bay Area! Had the perfect sweetness & texture. Wanted to take just a bite but ended up finishing a whole piece! Will buying again.

“Overall, I liked the “macarons“ at this cute little take away counter. I use the quotes because these are not your classic macarons. They’re like macarons on steroids – bigger creamier, and semi-open-faced. These confections are good in their own, right - rich, creamy, and not too sweet. I tried the tiramisu flavor. But don’t come here looking for a classic macaron, which has a crisper cookie base and a chewier, more flavorful filling.“

“I highly recommend this donut basket for everyone that need a jump start. Great wonderful service friendly people always asking about your day. Makes me feel like home. Amazing coffee delicious donuts with a lot of goodness.

“I love this place! My husband and I are vegan, and they were very knowledgeable on what to suggest which there are many options. Also amazing customer service and of course deliciously authentic indian food! P.s. I don't have any pictures because we always dive in as soon as we are served. Lol“

I asked for my coffee to be adjusted twice (adding milk and then reducing the sugar), and the staff were incredibly patient and friendly about it. They were so helpful and made sure I left with exactly what I wanted. Really appreciate their attitude and kindness!“

“CASH ONLY SERVICE! Classic Hong Kong bakery with all of the classic baked goods made by the owner who has been here for MANY years. The lemon cake is moist and tasty! Almond cookies have that familiar flavor and crunch. The red bean sesame balls are my favorite!“
