Blame covid for the price increases and there are sign posted to make you aware of the increase. it's the best food and most reasonable prices in town. if you cant afford a 11 dish then don't buy or complain about it. “Everything is amazing perfect place to bring your vegan friends or loved ones. We are from Austin we were visiting friends this was amazing we had the garlic noodle and the veggie medley. Thai tea and Vietnamese coffee all vegan with a slice of pandan cake. They also have jerky and a few other snacks you can buy. Just go here everyone is friendly and helpful with allergies as well“

I had the best experience at Tabu Shabu! I sat out on the patio with my dog and it was absolutely perfect—comfortable, welcoming, and such a great vibe. I ordered a glass of wine and started with the cucumber appetizer and edamame, both super fresh and full of flavor. The highlight was the salmon bowl with rice…so delicious, perfectly cooked, and so satisfying. The service was friendly, the food came out quickly, and they made me (and my pup!) feel totally at home. I think everyone came out at some point to visit with me and my pup. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food, a relaxing atmosphere, and a dog-friendly spot for a drink and apps (cant do hotpot outside, but still worth it).“

The flavor doesn’t get to the beef and beef was pretty plain. They put a lot of vermicelli in this pot so basically very little soup. The other dishes we got are cold dish cucumbers. It was fresh but the portion was small, as expected. Sliced Beef and Beef Offal in Chili Sauce was a lot of hot oil but the beef was very hard. The oil has a very strange taste to it. I had a lot of Sichuan food many places. I can’t describe this flavor, kind of not fresh but stale taste. I am surprised with the dish quality I got as the reviews are really good. The dessert of tofu pudding was good. But not to the extent that it’s super amazing. Overall 3-4 stars.“

“My curiosity was rewarded. I had the 4 garlic wing, fries special, $11, and it was delicious. I didn't realize a Vietnamese- style chicken wing even existed. The meat was very tender, and one of the drum sticks was about the size of a squash ball. The fries were separated from the chicken, and very nicely and crisply fried.

“The bill was $168 for 4 dishes+2 beers+ 1 hot tea pot + 1 hot water pot. We had 4 people for dinner. The ripped off is $20 for the 1 hot tea + 1 water pot(charge $5 per person). The manager credited back only 1 time favor(not second time in the future) of $10 for hot water pot after i complained that we ordered 2 beers for drink. It was ridiculous since a bottle of beer only $3. We will not go back to this place again. New customers please stay away from this restaurant. This restaurant's food is not that good and ripped off.“

“Houston Location: We arrived at our reservation and waited 10 minutes for the hostess. Once seated, we were uninstructed on how to order. Sushi chefs explained the process. Our waiter arrived 10 minutes after, taking our drink order. The app arrived before the waters, followed by the drinks after we ordered and received the sushi. The manager noticed us looking for our waiter but was often in the corner on his phone or socializing with the hostess. The sushi chefs were also on their phones while making the sushi, which was unhealthy. Despite the germy seasoning, the food was amazing.“

“A hidden boba shop that just happens to serve pho and other food options. They don't specialize in pho and only have one variety (prime rib pho), but it slaps and is jam packed with meat! Only 10 bux and comes with a free small drink of your choice.

Unfortunately I had to deduct a star for lack of consistency. The pho ranges from amazing to just average, and I suspect it depends on the time of day. Try to come in the mornings.“

“We just had our mandatory Hmart food court date this weekend and tried out KZ Mori. For $19 we got the Mix Katsu Combo with Curry served on the side. The tray came with miso soup, cabbage salad and katsu sauce! Pickled radishes were at the counter for self service as well! We were there late afternoon so the wait for food was quick, about 10 minutes before our order was done. Portions are huge, we ended up sharing the entree between the two of us! Light batter on the katsu slices, with such a good crunch to each bite! The chicken tasted a tad juicier than the pork but overall each bite was a great compliment to the curry! Definitely a great stop for a good deal and a great lunch!“

“Friday 4th of July Lunch at Chao Nieu 35 with my sister. Ordered 2 dozen oysters Vietnamese style sauces and escargot butter garlic sauce and filet mignon with glass noodles. Delicious and great price for $1 oyster.

Service staffs were nice and friendly however very limited in English. Be sure to bring your own translator.
