My first TP Tea experience happened at their Cupertino storefront and I remember how crazy and wild the line was for that grand opening. I know, it’s a simple drink that’s really hard to mess up, but for some reason, the way it’s brewed at TP Tea reigns supreme in my eyes. I also like the touch of Tieguanyin tea. Fun fact: I never knew or heard of Tieguanyin until coming across TP Tea! If you like a blend of aromatic tea notes with a hint of sweetness from wintermelon, I cannot recommend this drink enough. However, if you’re in the mood for a milk tea, I highly recommend the strawberry milk tea! It has a nice blend of milk and fragrant tea, with the acidity and sweetness of REAL strawberries. And if you really wanted to make any drink a winner, you’re going to want to add QQ noodles in your drink! I don’t know what makes it so good, but it’s definitely chewy and fun to have in your drink. “Decided to stop by here after going to the LA fitness to get some business done. As I previously stated, there are many different types of tea places here in OC. Still, I'm glad I stopped by, since it's been a really hot summer, I really enjoyed that this place offers nice cold and refreshing smoothie type tea drinks with boba! I ordered a mango type and was very satisfied. The staff were friendly and professional. Interior and exterior are clean. Parking is spotty at best because they share a public parking lot with many different businesses including the gym. Still I am very happy I stopped by and will be returning very soon.“

“I’ve tried a lot of boba spots in OC, and Umacha really stands out. I ordered the matcha mango and wasn’t sure what to expect, but it ended up being one of the most unique drinks I’ve had in a while.

The matcha is smooth and high quality, and the mango adds just the right amount of sweetness and freshness without overpowering it. It’s super balanced—not too sweet, not too heavy—just clean and refreshing.

“Located next to Vừa Khó Bo is this tea shop. It had a self kiosk to place your order and two employees in the back.

They offer fresh tea, milk tea, fruit tea, smoothies, coffee, cheese foam and matcha.

I couldn’t decide between banana matcha latte or pandan matcha latte. I went with the latter. It’s made with whole milk and the matcha is ceremonial grade with pandan flavor. Not too sweet and the matcha was not bitter or grassy, it was perfect. I would return to try the banana matcha. They only have one size cup to offer.“

“Rooster Tea is a charming little tea shop in Costa Mesa with a lot of personality packed into a small space.

The first thing you’ll notice is the huge rooster mural right when you walk in. The shop isn’t very big, but it’s beautifully designed with lots of thoughtful details that give it a cozy and welcoming vibe.

The woman behind the counter was incredibly bubbly and friendly, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.

We kept it simple and ordered a Jasmine Green Tea and a Strawberry Cloud Matcha. Both drinks were refreshing, well-balanced, and made with quality ingredients. The jasmine tea had a clean, fragrant flavor, while the Strawberry Cloud Matcha was creamy, lightly sweet, and a fun twist on a classic matcha.

“Airoma had the best matcha. It’s so tasty and it’s probably the only matcha place that my boyfriend craves matcha. There was a little bit of a line that wraps around the corner but it goes by pretty fast. We got the pandan matcha ($7.50). The store itself is small and only one bathroom. It can be kind a loud but I still see people study there. The drink comes out quick. Make sure to stir your matcha. Tastes so good!“

Parking is fine since it is a big complex plaza with good size parking. The place is open space, clean, and spacious. Small but enough for several high tables for dine-in and several tables/chairs outside. Nice & varies choices menu. Staff are nice and friendly. The drinks are nicely mixed and refreshing, the tofu is great & also refreshing with the syrup and coconut milk. Just simply yummy.“

“Taty's has a lot of unique drinks that you can choose from. I liked everything I got the second time around. I would come back here.

Tip: Don't get crystal boba. I got this the first time and it was very dense and didn't taste good. Drinks are just right in sweetness. Get at least 75% here and don't go too low.

* Ube Matcha Latte 4.5/5 - This was tasty, though I wish the ube flavor came across more. It was very understated. I got Osmanthus Mochi Jelly addon and it was yummy, a cross between a grass jelly and mochi texture with a light sweetness.

* Mini Breadsticks 5/5 - These were like crispy banh mi. I like that they were protein-packed with pork floss and pate.

* Popcorn Chicken 5/5 - Crispy and delicious popcorn chicken. Their spicy level may be a bit high as I ordered mild, but it was more like a medium (maybe it was just the seasonings being concentrated at the top).

* Pink Guava Strawberry Tea 5/5 - Very refreshing and sweet drink, hint of guava and strawberry, not strong taste.

* Blended Oreo Brulee 5/5 - Creamy, eggy, sweet goodness. It was a real treat. Your mouth is like Oreo-land with bouncy egg custard.“

“Ding Tea is a boba tea chain with various locations. This place we went to is located in Westminster. The menu had a lot of items to choose from, with both drink and food options available. We got 3 drinks and they were a bit hit and miss. The staff was nice and friendly.
