“I’ve been to a lot of boba shops, and this is one of the few that keeps me coming back. The drinks are consistently good, the prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes, and the staff always go out of their way to be helpful and accommodating.
What really stands out is how willing they are to customize drinks. Every time I’ve had a special request or wanted to tweak an order, they’ve been happy to help. That level of customer service is becoming harder to find and makes a big difference.
Prices are great! The Thai Tea Blossom was great and tapioca is always on par. The Vietnamese coffee with the Thai tea is my favorite. The ingredients taste fresh, the boba has great texture, and the drinks are made with care.
More than anything, this place feels like a business that genuinely values its customers. Great drinks, fair prices, and friendly people. It’s become my go-to boba spot, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a local place to support.“

“Regardless of how many new boba places will open up, TP Tea will always have a soft spot in my heart. My first TP Tea experience happened at their Cupertino storefront and I remember how crazy and wild the line was for that grand opening. It’s crazy to think there’s over 5 locations for the Bay Area now. Woohoo!! Now, onto the drinks! I am a HUUUUGE fan of their wintermelon Tieguanyin tea. I know, it’s a simple drink that’s really hard to mess up, but for some reason, the way it’s brewed at TP Tea reigns supreme in my eyes. I also like the touch of Tieguanyin tea. Fun fact: I never knew or heard of Tieguanyin until coming across TP Tea! If you like a blend of aromatic tea notes with a hint of sweetness from wintermelon, I cannot recommend this drink enough. However, if you’re in the mood for a milk tea, I highly recommend the strawberry milk tea! It has a nice blend of milk and fragrant tea, with the acidity and sweetness of REAL strawberries. And if you really wanted to make any drink a winner, you’re going to want to add QQ noodles in your drink! I don’t know what makes it so good, but it’s definitely chewy and fun to have in your drink. I also find it a unique boba topping compared to the other boba shops in town. Got myself a wintermelon Tieguanyin tea and Sunshine ice tea for my BOGO drink! #TPTeaBayArea #TPTEA“

“We mostly order the matcha storm in this location. But I personally love it. So far one of the best matcha within OC . Especially with the pudding its very nice. My kid loves the strawberry milk tea too. The spot is not too crowded and a lot of parking. They also have lots of promos so dont forget to signup.“
“Ambrosia Tea is easily one of the best boba spots I’ve been to. The shop is super clean, which already sets it apart, and the overall vibe is really welcoming.
One of the coolest parts is the claw machines, they’re actually winnable. I ended up winning on my second try, which never happens, so that alone made the experience memorable.
The Thai tea was excellent, really authentic and true to how it should taste, not overly sweet or watered down like some places. You can tell they care about quality.
Also, a huge plus, they let me split my drink, which is something not every shop is willing to do. Small detail, but it makes a difference.
Overall, great drinks, fun atmosphere, and solid service. Definitely coming back.“

“I’ve tried a lot of boba spots in OC, and Umacha really stands out. I ordered the matcha mango and wasn’t sure what to expect, but it ended up being one of the most unique drinks I’ve had in a while.
The matcha is smooth and high quality, and the mango adds just the right amount of sweetness and freshness without overpowering it. It’s super balanced—not too sweet, not too heavy—just clean and refreshing.
The texture was on point too, and everything tasted fresh. You can tell they actually put thought into their drinks instead of just loading them with sugar.
The shop itself is minimal and clean, with a really chill vibe. Service was quick and friendly.“

“Tucked inside the Irvine Marriott, YNK Speakeasy is a cozy, stylish hideaway that feels more like an upscale living room than a bar. I came with five friends to celebrate my birthday, and we ordered just about everything: Smoked Old Fashioned ($21), Cactus Club ($18), Chakai Kyushikis ($27!), Momoe ($27!), Airbuzz ($18), Whiskey Sour ($18), and Smoke & Mirrors ($18). We also grabbed churro bites and a cookie skillet, which were tasty finger food options.
The drinks? Fantastic. Creative, well-balanced, and worth the hype. But with some cocktails priced at $27, the prices are on the steeper side, even for Orange County. That makes YNK a “special occasion” stop, not your regular Friday night spot.
The vibe is intimate, with comfy couches and high-tops, and the staff was warm and welcoming. One even shared that the menu rotates every few months, which is reason enough to return.
✅ Pro tip: Make a reservation for evening hours.
✅ Parking is paid, but the bar validates—bless them.

“worth the hype! I’m super picky about my matcha so I didn’t have high expectations but the double matcha (matcha cream) is heavy on the matcha flavor. I got 50% sweet and it’s a perfect balance. House coffee is also very flavorful and sweet (like traditional Vietnamese coffee). Also saw that they would add a shot of coffee if the flavor isn’t enough for you. We went on a Sunday around 8am and there were no lines but a few people coming in and out. We’ll be back!“

“I ordered the đậu xanh rau má (mung bean pasted with pennywort leaves) with half sweet and it was alright. The mung bean paste tasted old and plain, it slumped together and they didn't add much of it in the drink either. The taste of the leaves on the other hand is good, smell like the leaf itself not the artificial. So I can only give them 3pts. When I walked in the place was empty and they were all in the back , they didnt see or hear me w my friend walking in. I had to call them out to take my orders. The place also need a quick clean too“

“Right after the Sanrio store, we came here for drinks. They had a few specials. Buy 6 drinks, get 1 free. Buy 1, get the same drink for $1. Or buy a drink and pay x for dessert.
I wanted two different drinks so none of those deals worked for us. I ended up with Uji Matcha Milk Tea and it was so bold, strong, and earthy. I loved it. Kept me wired all day.
The kiddo got strawberry yogurt and she loved it. We loved it too. It was fruit creamy and refreshing.“

The menu has many different kinds of drinks.
Fresh tea is $4.50 and includes simple options like Assam black tea, jasmine green tea, and oolong tea.
Flavored teas are $5.25. They have many fruit flavors like peach, passion fruit, strawberry, lychee, mango, pineapple, kiwi, grapefruit, winter melon, and kumquat.
Milk tea is also $5.25 and there are lots of choices such as signature milk tea, taro milk tea, Thai milk tea, matcha milk tea, chocolate milk tea, honey milk tea, strawberry milk tea, lychee milk tea, mango milk tea, peach milk tea, passion fruit milk tea, brown sugar milk tea, vanilla milk tea, hazelnut milk tea, and Hokkaido milk tea.
Fruit juice drinks are $5.25 and include aloe vera drinks with flavors like kiwi, honey, passion fruit, peach, lychee, and grapefruit.
Yakult or yogurt drinks are $5.50 with flavors like green tea, passion fruit, lychee, mango, peach, strawberry, and grapefruit.
Lattes are $5.25 and include black tea latte, jasmine green tea latte, oolong latte, matcha latte, and taro latte.
They also have coffee drinks for $5.25 and slush drinks for $5.95, like strawberry, mango, passion fruit, taro, and matcha.
You can add toppings for $0.85 like golden boba, coconut jelly, grass jelly, coffee jelly, rainbow jelly, egg pudding, aloe vera, or sea cream. Crystal boba costs $0.95.
Sweetness: if you order fruit tea, it’s better to choose 50% sweetness. Even at 50% it can still be a bit sweet.

My mom is picky yet she very much enjoyed her boba drink. The place offers the same drinks as their other locations and our entire process went very smoothly. Their boba was fresh and we didn’t have to wait too long. I highly recommend their Sweet Frozen Bliss drink series since they include various toppings and are all so delicious!

The place is located in Bristol Marketplace so it should be a breeze to find a parking spot. They have a decent amount of seating and offer a mobile kiosk to order from which is convenient. 🤌🏻
