“I’ve been to a lot of boba shops, and this is one of the few that keeps me coming back. The drinks are consistently good, the prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes, and the staff always go out of their way to be helpful and accommodating.
What really stands out is how willing they are to customize drinks. Every time I’ve had a special request or wanted to tweak an order, they’ve been happy to help. That level of customer service is becoming harder to find and makes a big difference.
Prices are great! The Thai Tea Blossom was great and tapioca is always on par. The Vietnamese coffee with the Thai tea is my favorite. The ingredients taste fresh, the boba has great texture, and the drinks are made with care.
More than anything, this place feels like a business that genuinely values its customers. Great drinks, fair prices, and friendly people. It’s become my go-to boba spot, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a local place to support.“

“We love trying Boba when we visit different cities. Decided to give this place a try as it was very close to where we were staying. The decor was very cute and the staff was friendly. I ordered the Lychee fruit tea with boba and it did not disappoint. The brown sugar boba tasted fresh with the perfect texture. “Regardless of how many new boba places will open up, TP Tea will always have a soft spot in my heart. My first TP Tea experience happened at their Cupertino storefront and I remember how crazy and wild the line was for that grand opening. It’s crazy to think there’s over 5 locations for the Bay Area now. Woohoo!! Now, onto the drinks! I am a HUUUUGE fan of their wintermelon Tieguanyin tea. I know, it’s a simple drink that’s really hard to mess up, but for some reason, the way it’s brewed at TP Tea reigns supreme in my eyes. I also like the touch of Tieguanyin tea. Fun fact: I never knew or heard of Tieguanyin until coming across TP Tea! If you like a blend of aromatic tea notes with a hint of sweetness from wintermelon, I cannot recommend this drink enough. However, if you’re in the mood for a milk tea, I highly recommend the strawberry milk tea! It has a nice blend of milk and fragrant tea, with the acidity and sweetness of REAL strawberries. And if you really wanted to make any drink a winner, you’re going to want to add QQ noodles in your drink! I don’t know what makes it so good, but it’s definitely chewy and fun to have in your drink. I also find it a unique boba topping compared to the other boba shops in town. Got myself a wintermelon Tieguanyin tea and Sunshine ice tea for my BOGO drink! #TPTeaBayArea #TPTEA“

“Decided to stop by here after going to the LA fitness to get some business done. As I previously stated, there are many different types of tea places here in OC. Still, I'm glad I stopped by, since it's been a really hot summer, I really enjoyed that this place offers nice cold and refreshing smoothie type tea drinks with boba! I ordered a mango type and was very satisfied. The staff were friendly and professional. Interior and exterior are clean. Parking is spotty at best because they share a public parking lot with many different businesses including the gym. Still I am very happy I stopped by and will be returning very soon.“
“Ambrosia Tea is easily one of the best boba spots I’ve been to. The shop is super clean, which already sets it apart, and the overall vibe is really welcoming.
One of the coolest parts is the claw machines, they’re actually winnable. I ended up winning on my second try, which never happens, so that alone made the experience memorable.
The Thai tea was excellent, really authentic and true to how it should taste, not overly sweet or watered down like some places. You can tell they care about quality.
Also, a huge plus, they let me split my drink, which is something not every shop is willing to do. Small detail, but it makes a difference.
Overall, great drinks, fun atmosphere, and solid service. Definitely coming back.“

“Tastea is one of my favorite stops for tea and boba.
They always make the drinks fresh and I really like that they create different drinks all the time for something new to try.
The service is quick and friendly. You can order on the ap, kiosk or in person. In any case they make your drink pretty quickly and there is hardly a wait.
This location is small. They have a bench to wait but no tables.“

“I’ve tried a lot of boba spots in OC, and Umacha really stands out. I ordered the matcha mango and wasn’t sure what to expect, but it ended up being one of the most unique drinks I’ve had in a while.
The matcha is smooth and high quality, and the mango adds just the right amount of sweetness and freshness without overpowering it. It’s super balanced—not too sweet, not too heavy—just clean and refreshing.
The texture was on point too, and everything tasted fresh. You can tell they actually put thought into their drinks instead of just loading them with sugar.
The shop itself is minimal and clean, with a really chill vibe. Service was quick and friendly.“

“This is one of my favorite boba/sweet treat/dessert spots in OC. My favorite is the tropical mango dessert bowl, I’ve truly never had anything like it. The sago will totalllllllly satisfy your sweet treat craving. The drinks are really good as well and the staff are always so friendly and kind. My only tip for them is to serve the dessert bowls chilled!“

“Rooster Tea had a nice selection of teas available. Their drinks were really sweet here, especially the fruit teas. I should have gotten 50-75% sweet. The drinks were better after I diluted the milk tea with milk and the fruit teas with 3x water.
* Taro Coconut Milk Tea (non caffeine) 4.5/5 - This was a very nice drink. It had a strong, smooth taro taste which I really liked. The coconut milk was pretty understated, and I didn't really taste it.
* Strawberry Hisbiscus Tea 3/5 - This was a sweet drink, but the flavors didn't really come through. 100% sweet was too much for me and I had to add more water to make it drinkable.“

“Taty's has a lot of unique drinks that you can choose from. I liked everything I got the second time around. I would come back here.
Tip: Don't get crystal boba. I got this the first time and it was very dense and didn't taste good. Drinks are just right in sweetness. Get at least 75% here and don't go too low.
* Ube Matcha Latte 4.5/5 - This was tasty, though I wish the ube flavor came across more. It was very understated. I got Osmanthus Mochi Jelly addon and it was yummy, a cross between a grass jelly and mochi texture with a light sweetness.
* Mini Breadsticks 5/5 - These were like crispy banh mi. I like that they were protein-packed with pork floss and pate.
* Popcorn Chicken 5/5 - Crispy and delicious popcorn chicken. Their spicy level may be a bit high as I ordered mild, but it was more like a medium (maybe it was just the seasonings being concentrated at the top).
* Pink Guava Strawberry Tea 5/5 - Very refreshing and sweet drink, hint of guava and strawberry, not strong taste.
* Blended Oreo Brulee 5/5 - Creamy, eggy, sweet goodness. It was a real treat. Your mouth is like Oreo-land with bouncy egg custard.“

“One of my favorite tea shops in OC.there are many tea shops available to choose from in Orange County, however I like the options offered at this place. I've stopped by here a lot over the years and I really appreciate the decor, the staff are always friendly welcoming and professional. The interior is clean as well the extior. Although their main focus is on the teas, they offer a wide variety of snack foods. I've seen that this place also serves as a study location for many students. Parking can be tight at times, still I love stopping by when I get a chance and will continue to do so. I happily recommend this place for all to visit.“

“Best matcha I've ever had in my life and I'm not even joking. had a beautiful strawberry matcha with real strawberries not just syrup and super rich and earthy dark matcha that was not grainy. despite the line being outside the door, it moved quickly. while im not the hugest fan of minimalism, the inside was very nice. my drink was around $7 which is the usual price of a matcha.“

“Was craving for some soft sweet tofu and they have special deal here for it on Sunday. Also got some Tofu & pennywort juice too. Parking is fine since it is a big complex plaza with good size parking. The place is open space, clean, and spacious. Small but enough for several high tables for dine-in and several tables/chairs outside. Nice & varies choices menu. Staff are nice and friendly. The drinks are nicely mixed and refreshing, the tofu is great & also refreshing with the syrup and coconut milk. Just simply yummy.“

“I've been visiting Krak Boba locations for a few years now. More and more are popping up around OC. I've been to this location a couple times now.
Parking: Free parking lot. There's a medium/large parking lot. Finding a parking spot can be easy.
Ambiance/Environment: They have a small space with limited indoor seating. Not sure if they have ac, but every time I visit, it’s always warm inside. I visited around the afternoon, and it wasn’t too busy but there was consistent foot traffic.
Service: You can either place an order at the kiosk or at the register. Majority of customers placed their orders through the kiosk. Throughput was quick after order.
Drinks: My go-to is usually the Seaside Green Thai Tea, but this time I got the Jasmine Milk Tea. I always get crystal boba from Krak bc they’re pretty consistent with its texture and flavor. Their milk teas are also really good, their fruit teas are fresh, and their coffees are strong. Make sure you shake your cup well if you add cold foam. Their cups have a plastic seal.
Pricing: They have their own rewards app with points, coupons, and promotions. Highly recommend downloading the app. You can also conveniently mobile order.“

You're able to adjust sweetness level of the drinks according to your personal taste as well which is nice. Decent parking available but limited during rush hours. “I really love it here. Even when busy the people are so helpful and patient. The drinks I’ve gotten so far have all been delicious and delicately crafted! My favorite is the dirty matcha! “We stopped by Gotcha Fresh Tea and loved that they have both drinks and snacks, so it was easy to satisfy every craving in one stop!
We ordered the Paris Milk Tea, Mango Smoothie, Watermelon Slush, Popcorn Chicken, and Mozzarella Sticks. The Paris Milk Tea was rich and smooth, while the fruit drinks were refreshing and perfect for a warm day. The popcorn chicken came out hot, crispy, and full of flavor, and the mozzarella sticks had the perfect cheese pull.
The shop was clean, the ordering process was simple, and our food and drinks came out quickly. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to whenever we're in Costa Mesa! 😋🧋🍗“
