“My opinion best Hamburgers in Sacramento. Where else can you get a burger made from venison, wild boar, Wagyu, Bison, Camel or even Gator bites ? Exotic meats and great selection of craft beers owner is an awesome staff is great and the cook is on point. Oh and the fries are to die for 🤤. Definitely a must try if you are in the Sacramento area and love hamburgers and fries.“

“Had dinner here on 1-15-25 party of 3. Very good service. Espresso martinis were great! Started with artisan bread and Brussel sprouts. It was a little weird to have the pancetta on the side vs mixed into the dish but everyone agreed we really liked them. Then we had Dungeness crab arrabiata, duck fat seared scallops and the short rib. Favorite dish was the short rib! The arrabiata had a good variety of seafood but I wasn’t a huge fan of the squid ink tonarelli. The scallops we tasty just tiny and too few, so that was the least liked dish. Finished off with a flourless chocolate cake that was good. Next time we want the brie appetizer! I’d dine here again but it hasn’t moved into my top 10. We each had a cocktail to start and shared a modest bottle of Pinot. Out the door $400.“

“This is a great place to eat and drink! The atmosphere is upscale without the prices being out of control, at least for a business traveler, which I think is their primary audience. I wish they were more explicit about dietary restrictions on the menu, which is basically silent on this topic.“

“This place is a true gem! My husband and I have ate here twice now and we have NOT been disappointed. Our first time there he ordered a burger of some sort and I got the grilled chicken sandwhich in a lettuce wrap. Both were absolutely delicious. Our second time around he got the pesto crepe with fries, and I got the Mediterranean crepe with salad. We both agreed that my crepe was better, despite our love of pesto, but both were good. The fries and salad hit the spot as well, mostly because their ranch dressing is fantastic. Prices were definitely reasonable. I look forward to trying other things on the menu. Whether you want savory or sweet there's something for everyone!“

“I eat at Huckleberry’s at least twice a month, today however my experience was not good to the point that I did not leave a tip and feel terrible about that. I went in around noon on Sunday, I knew it would be busy. I signed in for one and was told it would be a 10 minute wait. I sat there roughly 10 minutes. Two ladies came in signed in. Apparently they knew one of the waitress and were seated a few minutes later even though I was there before them. A waiter then approached the hostess and pointed at the clipboard, the hostess told him she was not going to seat one person in a booth. So I approached the hostess that initially signed me in and inquired why the two ladies were given a booth even though I was there before them, she didn’t know and looked for the waitress who sat them. The waitress proceeded to move them to a bigger booth to seat me. I was very disappointed. I realize it was not right to leave a tip but customers should not be given preferential treatment.“

“Delicious pancakes. They were huge and very tasty I had plenty to bring home for later. I think I got about three meals out of it. The bacon was a bit unevenly cooked, some of it was very crispy some of it was kind of rubbery. This is a very popular local place always busy.“

“We came for the veterans day meals, but will definaly be come back, the foods is amazing with some of the best taste in the thai-mango salad it came with 6 shrimp. The burger was huge and was cooked to prefecture and tasted amazing. The wings were juicy and crunchy.
The staff was friendly and on top of everything!
Nate and Isabella were both friendly, great service and made us feel welcome.

They also have a dog friendly patio with a meal for the puppy, and it's a good meal.“

“We came by The Squeeze today and it was their last day in their current building. So sad that they will not be there any longer. However, they will have a food truck and advised us that if you search them on Facebook or Instagram they will provide more details about when the food truck will start to be available. The food truck will also be available for catering which I thought was awesome.“

“This place is soooo dope!!! We came in on a Saturday night and even though it was crazy busy, were immediately greeted and seated in a cozy booth. DJ was in the zone and had everyone dancing in the aisle and singing along to hip-hop classic bangers. Definitely a great and positive vibe. We were there for food though.

Had a tough time deciding what to order because everything looked tempting, but went with the CARRERA QUESADILLA and CHIMICHURRI STEAK SANDWICH for food and LYCHEE MARTINI for a cocktail or two. Portions were generous, gorgeously plated and not at all what you’d expect from late-night bar food. Steak was tender, cooked a perfect med-rare and all ingredients fresh and beyond delicious!!

Felt our business there extremely appreciated when Tony introduced himself to us as the manager/owner and told us about his vision to make THE SHOP even better. Asked for our feedback. These kind of interactions build regulars. We literally can’t wait to visit again.“

This truly feels like a hole in the wall but the inside is beautiful and intimate. What you'll see on a menu is a small fraction of what is truly available to you. That move quickly and diligently to get you settled and will make sure you get something you'll love. It will definitely feel a bit overwhelming at first trying to keep everything straight but trust your gut. They'll make you any drink you ask for and have a great selection of appetizers, main courses, and dessert.

If you want an intimate setting with polite, jovial, and knowledgeable staff and stellar food definitely give this place a try.

If you haven’t tried this place you need to check it out. It has perfect holiday season vibes. I have seen too many restaurants come and go from this location. I had the pasta and bread tonight, heavenly.  They ran out of cookies, so the owner couldn’t be nicer, he made me a beautiful & thoughtful oreo panna cotta. Dude. Yup, so good.

If you need a restaurant for a holiday dinner or brunch, I highly recommend this location. It has cozy indoor and outdoor seating with heaters for outside. Let’s keep their doors open this holiday season as we move into 2026.“

“I wish the shop was a bit bigger and the outside wasnt surrounded by trash and a unhoused guy just pees in front of the shop.
However it being a hole in the wall… best Damn chicken spot in Sacramento, and Yolo county. COUnTY not city.
Chicken is fried to perfection, the sauces are HOT as hell. Most important the BUN is warmmmmm ahhh. Soo good.“

“My partner and I found this place on a whim when our plans unexpectedly changed. Now we can't get enough! We drive over 40mins to get their chicken strips with fries often. They are the best we have ever had! The flavors are amazing, the ketchup here is to die for, and there is hardly anyone inside, so it's generally on the quiet side.
