“Great spot for location, Friendly staff, delish bomb.com food, tried the kiki s tots w a bit of bbq sauce and the mango habanero sauce 😋🤤🤤🤤, only thing will ask for extra chicken on the tots, I paid a very reasonable price and it is worth to stop and try, and get your smog check while you enjoy.(Called in ahead of time for this pick up but they definitely have a menu to check out)

“I went with my nephews and sister in-laws. The place was clean, the cashier was friendly and super helpful and knowledable about the spice levels. I was scared and went with one medium and one mild. The medium wasn't bad at the all. I may try a medium and hot next time. I believe my nephews got super hot and the cashier told us that was around ghost pepper spice 😬 their mouths were burning 🥵 I wont go too spicy because then you cant enjoy your food and taste it. The little sliders are filling and comes with fries and sauce. It's delicious. And dont forget to order a drink! They do NOT come with the meals you order.... and their ice is AMAZING, small little crunchy ice.“

“I have been here before and enjoyed the food. Their po-po plate is great, lots of meat, not just bones. Today I ordered off menu for salt and pepper fish to go and lunch #5 general chicken. “Von’s Chicken in Rancho Cordova is such a great find! The chicken is always hot, crispy, and full of flavor — you can really taste the quality and freshness. The Soy Garlic and Original Crispy are my go-tos, but the Hot & Spicy hits the spot when you want a little extra kick. Don’t skip the baked chicken as it’s perfect if you want something lighter but still packing tons of flavor.

The sides and starters are just as good — especially the cheeseballs and sodduck sodduck. Portions are generous, and even the takeout stays crunchy and delicious.

The staff here are super friendly and attentive — they take the time to explain the different sauces and flavors, and it’s clear they care about their customers having a great experience.

Overall, Von’s Chicken is consistently excellent — fresh, flavorful, and served with genuine hospitality. Definitely one of my favorite go-to spots in Rancho Cordova!“

“I went around 6pm and got a leg and thigh and biscuit. The biscuit was hot, soft, buttery, flaky, sugary, fluffy diabesity (diabetes and obesity in one!) deliciousness and the chicken was hot, juicy, salty, tender, crunchy, krispy diabesity so definitely worth the $6 I paid! I look forward to eating again! It is in a gas station so takeout only but this is some seriously good chicken!“

My wife and I picked up (to-go) enough chicken for two (two thighs and two legs), two sides, two salads, two churros, four tortillas and plenty of (fresh-made) sauces. It's great tasting food and we left our dinner table feeling good unlike after eating something fried or even a burger. We WILL be back.“

“I’ve never been there in person, but I’ve ordered from them plenty of times—and the food is phenomenal. The portions are definitely generous (perfect for us thick folks!).
One small suggestion: adding a menu link to Google Maps would be super helpful. I’m always telling people about the food, and having the menu handy would make it even easier to put others on.“

“This location has the best fried chicken in the area. The food is always fresh and hot and crispy. Sometimes they run daily specials. As I’ve heard the staff say before “ we have whole foods quality with Walmart prices” this location really does have the lowest pricing. You can’t get a Freshly made chicken sandwich for 4.99 anywhere else.“

The chicken pieces are still the size of Cornish game hens (nothing new there 🙄) and was very disappointed with the potato poppers and apple pie poppers. “The lemon pepper chicken tenders were SOO GOOD. My fries were a lil too salty and a lil soggy. But that’s okay, maybe the straight cut fries are better. I asked for mango habanero on the side but it tastes a lil too vinegary(?). Not the best but not the worst. Overall the chicken was the best and the fries are meh.“

“I love this Chick Fil A. Have been going here for many years.
During COVID they underwent a renovation and the restaurant looks so unwelcoming now. I remember they used to have the Play Place and pictures of cows on the walls. This place used to have more personality and would stand other unlike the other fast food places.
Now it’s empty. And more expensive… how is fast food so expensive these days?!?

“We ordered 12 pieces of boneless chicken, half soy-glazed and crunchy. The chicken wasn’t dry and tasted good. Also, we ordered their chicken fried rice with soy glazed; the rice was flavorful, and my toddler ate a lot.

They have everything to go, but you can still dine in, they provide plastic utensils and paper plates if you happen to sit there. They have small wipes too. The restaurant was clean. The plaza has many parking spaces available.“
