“I finally had a chance to check out Made in Italy Bistro. I ordered a pizza and it was delicious and can't wait to go back for another one. The owners came by and said hello. Very nice! And friendly. I highly recommend this place. Also the prices were fair.“
“This is my favorite restaurant ever since I discovered it. The food is almost uniformly excellent. I took a chance on the swordfish this time, even though I gave up on ordering it in restaurants decades ago since they always overcook it, and it was perfect. We told them beforehand we were celebrating a birthday, and they brought out a plate of several little desserts, artistically arranged. And since they cancelled my reservation a couple of weeks ago due to having to make some kind of repairs, they started the meal with free bruchetta. On all days except Friday and Saturday, there's free corkage. But the best thing about it is the lovely ambiance and friendliness of the entire staff. I can't praise this place highly enough.“
“First time here since they first opened two years ago. Fast service! Have an “A” rating in the window. Very clean! Many menu items. Italian to Mexican! Customers coming in while we waited for our order seemed to all be on a first name basis with a small community feel. Lots of fist bumping going on! Lol Seemed everybody knew each other by their first names. The chicken burrito that we split was good. A customer who was already there eating her lunch when we arrived, got up and went out of her way to let the owner know that she really enjoyed her fish tacos ??. She said they were excellent! So may have to give those a try next time! Great place for a quick bite! Catering seems to be offered.“
“They make a chicken piccata that melts in your mouth. And the tiramisu is the best I've ever had and I've had it all over the world again, it melts in your mouth. I live in SHERMAN OAKS and I would drive to Malibu anytime to eat here.“
“Fantastic little deli. They have lots of homemade Italian family favorites like guanciale, or hard to find Italian foodstuffs. But the real delight is for under $10 they have the best sandwiches in town, hands down. I get the six inch Italian Deli sandwich anytime I'm around for lunch and it's always the perfect amount of food and a great sandwich for the money.“
“Very good ? pizza options, all on a thin crust, and several pasta options. They also serve beer and wine, but they have no ice for sodas. Nice to have a good place to go for pizza that is somewhat unique from the standard places. Nice to have this in Moorpark's Target center. We will return.“
“Great experience all around. Very attentive service and excellent food. We ordered shrimp and salmon dishes that were very tasty. Also tried the tiramisu and it was so creamy and fresh. We all had a great time w happy hour wine deals. Great place for family or intimate dinner. Will be back.“
“We always enjoy sitting on either patio and the heater lamps made it very comfortable. Our server was very pleasant and provided excellent service. The bus staff is always courteous and professional. The charcuterie board is a favorite of ours and is beautifully presented and delicious, especially the honey, a nice touch. My son always orders the steak, which is consistently cooked to perfection. A wonderful dining experience except for the table next to us which was conducting a loud FaceTime call , rude and lacking in consideration for others around them. Didn't stop us from enjoying our wonderful meal and great service.“
“V's restaurant in Malibu is a hidden gem boasting a vibrant ambiance. Their menu offers a wide variety of options, and the appetizers are particularly delightful, showcasing the chef's culinary expertise. It's a must-visit spot for those seeking a flavorful dining experience in Malibu. The hospitality of the staff further enhances the overall dining experience, making guests feel welcomed and well taken care of.“
“Carrara’s is one of my favorite places to go to! It’s one of the most authentic Italian cafes I’ve been to out here. The coffee is so good and the pastries don’t just look pretty, but they’re actually delicious. Everyone who works here is so nice and goes above and beyond! I wish I knew everyone’s names but from going there as often as I do I can honestly say Tallin, Danica, Alir, Sarah and really just the whole staff is so sweet and they make you feel so welcomed! Alir makes some of the best lattes I’ve ever had and Tallin decorates the foam on the lattes and the desserts in a beautiful way! I love everything about this place and would highly recommend :)“
“After trying a few pizza places in the area… We’ve believe we found the one! The pizza is flavorful -the sauce is flavorful. The meatball sub has good sized meatballs and is well flavored. There is something for everyone in this world and this place is for us!“
“I am impressed every time I have ordered from them; while I know the owner on a personal level, it does not affect how I feel for the business! Local business, local love; I recommend them any chance I get. They please in both food quality and their attention to service.“
“Some restaurant menus make me feel good, prompted by good ingredients, spotless floors and a staff that understand that it’s as hard to keep a customer as to create a new one.Other places, and you probably know of a few, offer a lot of pastas and entrees, or maybe a few signature dishes that make a place unique, but disappoint when overpaying for a lower experience. I wish them well. But some restaurants surpriseme. I just had lunch at Basta, in Agora’s Whizzin Market and gotta say I’m surprised, and a little miffed.Sure the staff are great with each one genuinely happy I came in. They even smiled. The atmosphere is open, inviting, warm and has a great combination of Mexican blues, warm tones, and wrought iron.I’ve never been here before as Whizzin Market is a little out of the way for me.But in spite of all the reasons it should have all been in the feel good category, my lunch went another direction.I had originally thought to order one of the bowls which cater to veggie, meat, or fish prefs. The Jidori Chicken Bowl seemed my speed which I asked about. My server, Cruz asked if I wanted the roast chicken or the bowl?Roast Chicken is my comfort food and I lost my mind for a beat. Then committed a classic amateur restaurant goer move:The panic order.“Roasted, please,” I heard myself say. Cruz refilled my coffee and disappeared. The dice now rolled, I waited. The chicken was good. No, not just good, but magnificent. So good I felt a mix of relief, surprise and annoyance. None of this was directed at the staff, Basta’s management, or the even the poor chicken.First, being from a small town in Indiana originally, I’ve eaten chicken at least 23x a week since 1970 and I’ve never tasted chicken like this. From the light golden sauce to crispy skin, it was ideally cooked and served immediately. I had no idea. No exaggerating.Second, that this lunch in terms of price point is a super value. Check the menu when you stop in, but you’ll find Basta a wonderful value for the level of care and attention to it all.All that to say, I’m so mad I haven’t been here earlier. Regardless of the distance, it should have been on my list.Consider yourself warned you may feel the same.Parking: Get here early if Canyon Club has a show.“
“A client took my boss, and the hole crew out to dinner at Rusticos an Italian restaurantIt was excellent. You could tell the food was created by a real chef. Every bite was excellent. I had the salmon.I was impressed by everything they served . 5***** ratingWe loved our dinner“
“From the moment I walked in I was impressed with this quaint little Bistro. Great atmosphere, great service and INCREDIBLE food. Best wedge salad I've ever had. I had the Filet with mushroom sauce which was exceptional, tender and seasoned to perfection. The mushroom risotto was AMAZING! I also sampled the Blackened fillet with pepper corn sauce and the ribeye with mushroom wine sauce. Hands down the best food and service in Simi Valley and their prices are very reasonable. Beto's is located on Sycamore...You will love it!!“
“We tried D'Amore's Pizza in Thousand Oaks for the first time, and we loved it! We dined in and ordered the family sized baked ziti, a regular sized meatless Italian salad, garlic knots with marinara sauce, and a large canola for dessert. The ziti was rich and cooked perfectly and tasted so good! The family portion was way more food than we needed for 2 adults and a child, though. The regular size would have fed us all.The meatless Italian salad was fresh and included romaine lettuce, mozzarella cheese, olives, tomatoes, and pepperoncinis. The Italian dressing was served on the side and it was all delicious.I ordered an 805 draft beer, which came in a cold glass. So good! The canoli was rich, creamy, crispy with a bit of chocolate drizzle on the plate. It tasted authentic and really good! The prices at D'Amore's Pizza are very reasonable, especially considering that we had a family portion of ziti for $24.I highly recommend you try D'Amore's Pizza for an authentically delicious and reasonably priced Italian meal.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian menu options are plentiful.“
“I love coming to this Presto Pasta Location in Simi Valley. I’m a delivery driver and I work in many cities but every time I’m in Simi I always save my appetite so I can stop here and get me a Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and a garden salad. The place is always clean and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. Food is great and I always chose to dine in. Thank you and keep up the great service!“
“I ate admin amici's and I thought there was a lunch special but $13 for scapega and meatballs very good but not even garlic bread or a soft drink to go with it are you kidding me I've never had that experience before with meatballs spaghetti they always give some garlic bread or drink something cheap cheap cheap cheap cheap you're lose in business you lost mine better off at domino's and You know so I bought a loaf of garlic bread that was like $4 so I paid $17 for a spaghetti and meatballs and some Gallic bread are you kidding no no I mean not worth it Cheap cheap cheap bike you're not gonna stay in business there's plenty of other places you get a lot more for your money and it's just as good if not better“
“It's really beautiful if you're on a date. The outside seating is lovely. It's fine dining-ish, but they don't really follow the rules. I was a party of 4, and they cleared 3 of my friend's plates as I was still eating!! Then proceeded to drop a dessert list. Rude.“
“Definitely a solid Italian place, and has great ambiance. They give free appetizers which is nice, and the bread and olive oil is tasty as well. My spaghetti bolognese was bit salty to my disappointment, but I liked my husband's carbonara a lot. It's a very tight space so I recommend getting a reservation ahead of time. Parking is difficult too, but there's some easy spots on ventura blvd.“
“It is very good authentic Italian food. I’ve had a couple of meals here and they both tasted great. However, they don’t have a very large menu and there were only a few things on the menu that sounded good. It’s also one of the few places I go where none of the appetizers sound too appetizing. It’s not that I think the food will taste bad, it just doesn’t excite me and make me interested in ordering it. The staff is very attentive and helpful. It’s a great restaurant, I just wish they had more things in line with my tastes.“
“Italian restaurant located in Westlake Plaza & Center in Lake Sherwood.Visited at 6pm. Since it was daylight saving time, we were guided outside to the terrace while it was still daylight.Clam chowder was delicious. The Caesar was also delicious with the sweetness of fresh romaine lettuce.I didn't really like the pasta or shrimp, but I do recommend the hazelnut gelato.“
“We have eaten here many times, and the food is always delicious. However, this time we had a reservation and we still had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. After salad and appetizers it took almost and hour to receive our entrees. We all ordered pasta dishes and they were over priced and very small portions as well. My son ordered the Lobster special pasta and the pasta portion was child size! There was also a 35.00 corkage fee, which is a little high for a restaurant trying not to be pretentious. This experience reminds us of why we don't eat here that often. The food is delicious, which is probably why we will find our way back eventually!“
“The servings are big. My toddler shared a meatball and spaghetti. The food is great service great. The atmosphere my feel a little closterphobic because of all the art and seating. I was able to fit a small stroller through the isles. Great for adulting.“
“Hands down the best pizza in Thousand Oaks! The staff is fantastic and it smells great when you walk in! Smells like an old school pizzeria! It's clean and inviting, they welcome you like family! I ordered a large pie with pepperoni, sausage and meatballs, a large antipasto & cannolis! All extremely delicious, portions are generous! Will definitely recommend & will absolutely come back! Gracci Mille!“
“What a find this restaurant is! The sandwiches are wonderful. The Greek salad is a favorite. The bread is so fresh and tasty that sometimes we go there just to buy the bread. All their desserts are so good and come in glass containers that you can keep and reuse. The Italian sandwich is a favorite as well as the beef dip. A small is enough for me and my husband with some leftover.“
“I’ve been to Boccaccio’s many times on a Saturday night for dinner. For my birthday, 5 of us had dinner & sat in the back area above the lake. Service was slower than usual, and our food was luke warm when served. My eggplant parmigiana wasn’t cooked all the way, and also luke warm. Overall we all enjoyed our dinner, but felt we were in the land of the lost , we’ll come back, perhaps just an off night??Vegetarian options: Eggplant parmigiana-pasta primavera, apple walnut salad, pasta with basil & tomatoesParking: The parking lot is huge, plenty of spots, not many handicapped spots that we saw. Can easily use a wheelchair or walker into the restaurant.“
“The best Marinara sauce I have had on the west coast! So vibrant and full of flavor! Its not scorched! No bitterness from overcooked tomato sauce! Thank you! The chicken Marsala is divine...so smooth. The Chicken Picasa nice and tender. Tiramisu to tempt the tastebuds...superb. Service is spot on and very attentive. Look no further...this is it!“
“Finest Italian food you have ever had. Pizzas are amazing, their pastas are made fresh, and their fried chicken is out of this world. I get an antipasto salad and my wife gets a pasta meal and we split. And, they make their own bread piping hot and it's just a famous and popular place.“
“Absolutely amazing place!! The vegan menu is delicious and full of lots of different items like vegan pizza, vegan eggplant parm and vegan bruschettas and many more. The restaurant is beautiful and the service was amazing. We will absolutely be coming back!“
“Wow! Everything was amazing from service to food. Such friendly, attentive and accommodating staff. Very welcoming. The sandwich I had was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had---Ellie's special. And finally, the location and vibe was perfect. Near antique shops and a farmers market.“
“A beautiful distinguish place with exelent and tasty food. The house cavernet glass of wine was delicious. On the other hand, the customer services were much less than what i was expecting for the type of place we were in. At some point, i will say it was kind of rud from almost everyone how approach us.Im sure I'll give them another chance to change it to a five-star.“
“This place is great. Food is delicious, filling, good portions, vegetarian options and more than fair price. Pizza is fresh. Tasty French fries. Mediterranean food on point. Kids games and prices are reasonably priced. Top notch service. Food is made fresh to order so it takes no more longer than any other restaurant. Will be coming again.“
“So far we have twice been to fattes doing a pickup order, grabbing the 2 large 3 topping pizza deals for just over $30! To be able to feed my family of 7 with quality, fresh made pizza at this price is a diamond in the rough type of situation.Fattes is a small mom and pop type of location, so unless you are a small party or solo, you may be interested in their delivery or pickup options as seating will be limited.Don't let that deter you though, the staff at the front are young but they are quick and courteous taking orders and getting you out the door, making sure to offer you parm and crushed red pepper packets before ya go. Drink options are all canned and bottled from 12 oz. can all the way up to 2 liter with a decent selection to round out your pizza night.New return customer earned! Thanks Fattes!“
“We are visiting fromChicago. So far the best pizza I have had! We created our own- sausage, pepperoni, pineapple, onions, peppers. It was sooo delicious! The veggie salad was delicious as well and a big portion. I highly recommend it if looking for a good pizza“
“Took some older ladies from my neighborhood for lunch on a day it was raining. Pizza Cookery had fresh food and marvelous service. In fact when our server found out that 2 of us had birthday’s she gave us a free dessert and we had already paid and we’re getting ready to leave. What a fun day to celebrate there. Needs a little redecorating/update and I had a rough time finding it as it’s stuck in an office park next door to a Hotel. But totally worth the time!! Loved it and will be back. ?Dietary restrictions: Had enough options for my vegetarian diet.“
“We had a great time yesterday!!!Excellent place to spend a pleasant moment with the family and the kids can play in the Arcade!!! We all left happyThank you ? ? ? My daughter had a nice birthday, the food was very delicious and the workers were very friendly.. I am going to recommend it ?? ? ? ?“
“Great food for dinner. Wonderful discovery. We knew desserts were extraordinary but had no idea they served lunch and dinner. What a sweet surprise. We came in on a celebrity chef night as well. A great meal!4 stars on the atmosphere only because it doesn't feel warm and cozy. A bit cafeteria- ish feeling for a sit-down meal.“
“We had shared salad breadsticks and lasagna that was excellent. The waitress was great and kept a attentive eye on us. The only thing that bothered us was screaming kids in both booths in front and behind us so next time we will ask to be sat someplace else which I'm sure will be accommodated!“
“Very homey and clean pizza place. Perfect stop after a game of ball. I bring kids and adults here every 5-6 weeks after a game. We order pizza in advance so by the time we get here it is ready. Every employee is helpful and warm. They know us now and that makes experience even better. Pizza is always fresh and very testy! We tried cheese, bbq chicken, mushroom and pepperoni. Every slice was gone!!! You can order to go, get your pizza picked or, like us, have it there. A few tables are available outside and there is plenty of parking! We highly recommend this Neighborhood Gem!“
“I ordered two thin margarita pizzas and chicken wings for my son’s sleepover and it was a big smash hit. “He’s a genius “ they said. The pizza is super thin, with exotic pizzas like Bel Air or Getty pizza. Great pasta, salad and beer and wine too. Casual and fun atmosphere. Highly recommend. Family owned. Support a small business.Parking: Spots out front“
“Food is delicious food, and the service is great, but it's just a little pricey for what it is...Dietary restrictions: Easy for dairy & and gluten-freeParking: It's a strip mall, next to a Ralph's so there's plenty of parking“
“GABRIEL IS THE BEST GENERAL MANAGER I HAVE EVER MET. The incredible enthusiasm he carries and the CARE he has for all of his customers. They’re not even his customers they’re his family. This man deserves a raise. Thank You Gabriel and your team for an amazing experience. I live in Oxnard but this makes me was to drive all the way out here just for the experience.“
“I love Palermos. Their red wine is really yummy! The new owner is great--friendly and welcoming. I love the herbs they have planted out front. Their spagetti and meatballs is our favorite!Parking: Plenty. Easy.Wheelchair accessibility: The front door is street level.“
“Today was just lunch. Amazing pizza and always perfect. We often have lunch & dinner there. We always have a good meal - usually take out, so I really look forward to sitting at a table, just once.Vegetarian options: Pasta, salads, veggies...Parking: Crowded but always a spot.“
“New ownership and the food is excellent. New items available and very affordable pricing. The minestrone, lasagna and pizza were a hit. I will definitely be back. Everyone should give them a try. It is owned by the son of Paola and Sandro who owned it years ago.Kid-friendliness: Owners are very nice and friendly.“
“Came in at 3:45p and sat at the bar, super nice bartender, let me order off the dinner menu which didn't technically start until 4, so was happy. Ordered the Stracciatella (sp?) From the mozzarella bar which is grilled ciabatta topped with Fig spread, burrata, and Prosciutto that they formed into roses. Everything was beautiful and delicious ? A new favorite spot!“
“Wanted some tasty food at a good price for my daughter and I. The server was very positive and enthusiastic, the food was really good. Had an alfredo dish and a carbonara dish after a bunch of salad... loved it. To top or off, for $6, we got a spaghetti dish to go. Though to beat.“
“This place is amazing, some of the best pizza I’ve had from amicci’s. The inside is updated and looks awesome as well, the owners are awesome people and deserve the support of Simi Valley. I suggest everyone try this place out. You won’t be disappointed.“
“First time I order here was for my daughter birthday party that was being held at Kids World. I have to say that I'm a bit picky when it comes to new places especially when you are feeding others. I order pizzas, salads and wings. It was all delicious. Everyone was saying how great the food was and there were no left overs lol.“
