“We’ve got two pour over - Ethiopia and Rwanda. Both had a slightly acidic taste and delicious! The pastry, cinnamon bun, was so good. Soft and not overly sweet. Very tasty. It felt like European-style bread. Despite only two seats available, we still enjoyed our coffee on site. Staff was very friendly.“

Booked Liberation Foods to cater the appetizers and buffet-style meal for my 90-person wedding in May 2025. Conducted a tasting prior to booking which was helpful to identify menu items. Also liked that tasting fee was credited to overall bill.

Due to venue constraints, opted to have food dropped off the day of the event in lieu of prepared onsite. When there was a mix-up with one of the sides, catering staff quickly returned back to the venue with the correct item. Would definitely recommend for your catering needs and I will definitely book with them in the future!“

“We hosted a baby shower for 65 people, and Ben was incredibly responsive and attentive throughout the whole process. He made setup and pickup so easy — we felt completely taken care of.

The food was fantastic — friends were still raving about it weeks later! We really appreciated the variety of options for different diets: salmon, fried tofu, and fried chicken. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and so well-prepared. And I also loved the biscuits: so flaky and buttery.

The portions were generous without being too much– we had just the right amount of leftovers, which speaks to both how good the food was and how well Ben calibrated the number of guests.

We hosted 165 people at a family home, so there were plenty of quirks that the team had to work around-- cooking for a large group with a satellite kitchen, hosting cocktail hour at a barn on the backside of the property that required a long carry, etc. and they were beyond exceptional in every way. Everything from the menu creation, to the thoughtfulness in working with us to create our perfect specialty cocktails, to the professionalism and proficiency of the bar staff, to the gorgeous dinner service and late night chocolate chip cookies and was expertly executed, beautiful and delicious!
