“This review is just for the Sichuan Hot Chicken which I've eaten twice. Overall it's pretty good, but it's not great, and I really want it to be great. In concept this is a really thoughtful and well-executed sandwich. It has great veggies and really crisp, juicy chicken. It reminds me of what I had in the night markets in Taiwan. The breading is good too, although I feel it could be a bit thicker.

Where it falls short for me is in flavor. The Sichuan spices are there, but they are overpowered by the sheer amount of chili powder and salt that the chicken is breaded in. I was looking for more in the sauce as well - honestly maybe just adding more sauce would accomplish that. If I could get more of that peppercorn flavor, less salt, and more sauce, I think it'd be a 10/10.“

There was a problem in transit with two of the products. Customer service was top notch. Sent replacements right away. Ethical and amazing company.“

“Went midweek last week for lunch, first time. The falafel wrap was just outstanding. Big, moist, crunchy enough, savory. The gyro wrap was tasty but overall should have been better. The gyro meat was grey, skimpy portion, and it was chopped into cubes so the sandwich did not hold together enough to eat without it falling apart. The pitas are just right. Great easy-on-the-wallet addition to Montclair and we'll definitely go again for the falafel and to explore the rest of the menu.“

“I give the highest caterer recommendation to Ikaros To Go (catering by the team that ran Ikaros restaurant). They planned and managed a very delicious memorial dinner for us for approximately 75 guests. The customer service and food were excellent - our menu included roasted salmon, vegetarian mousaka, rice, Greek salad and garlic bread, plus dessert of Baklava and sugar cookies which everyone also loved. They also handled dinnerware, water, lots of set up and clean up, soft drinks and pretty bottled Greek waters for the tables. They were extremely considerate, thoughtful, flexible, organized and reliable. Ikaros to Go went above and beyond and made our event very special. We are very grateful - Thank you Ikaros to Go!“

“We’re guaranteed an excellent experience every time we go. It used to be a special occasion place for us but now it’s a must go for any out of town visitors (or on those days where we just want everything to go right). The food alone is so good and perfect every time, but it’s really the experience that makes this. I’ve never seen a restaurant run so well. “We had a good time here. The cocktails were tasty and the food was pretty ok. Wife liked her fish entree and the olives appetizer. I found my burger (and the bun) to be a little dry and not especially flavorful but not terrible. I enjoyed the ice cream with olive oil and sea salt, it was one of those surprisingly good combinations.“
