“GO BEARS!!! ? we stopped in after a long day on the river and the place was packed from walk to wall. we were worried we weren’t going to be able to grab a seat but luckily the group in front of us left and moments later a huge table fit for my group opened up, in other words, the stars aligned!! we all ordered different things. two folks honing in on the mac daddy hamburger and myself and another getting the banh mi salad. friendly staff. great food. highly recommend

“Super charming resort on the Russian River. Loved the kayaks available to use. Views are great and plenty of places to sit, sip and enjoy. Rooms are updated and clean with very small bathroom in room. Be patient with getting hot water for the shower. It takes a while but is done when it arrives. Restaurant was really good.“

“I called ahead to see if it was alright for Drakes to hold a cake for me for a day which I was told was fine. Upon arrival, the hostess made me feel like I was a massive burden informing me that they in fact don't do that but they could be so kind as to do it just this once. They even went as far as to ask who I spoke to like I was making this up. If you're in the business of hospitality and you're going to accommodate me anyways why do you need to make me feel like a burden. I'll probably never ever want to eat there again. Despite the food being great, the hostesses hospitality entirely turned me off of ever staying at Drakes or dining there.“

It was clean at 2:30 in the afternoon and they get business, today's Saturday. The bathroom was clean, which is hard to find these days, I mean really clean. Here is a big one, no flies. I don't put this in my rating factor but the your gal working here is drop dead beautiful which brings back the nostalgia thing. Oh to be young again. The prices are great, the food good and hot. “Wow! What a gem! If you are looking for outstanding chowder, you have to try Ginochio’s Kitchen. Best chowder we have had in California. The owner is a sweetheart who knows everything about the town of Bodega Bay.
Huge parking lot with lots of spots. Clean restrooms. Food comes out quick and piping hot.
We finally got to try their breakfast burritos and they did not disappoint. Huge and filled with delicious pulled pork.

They catered a 100+ event, connected me with local vendors such as florist and musicians; they know how to adjust to budget constraints at the same time they have a vision to make your event as impactful and amazing as you want it to be. Daniel (Pen-for-Rent owner): "Five years after Tisza -- pronounced TEE-sa, one of our all-time favorite restaurants -- left its former location in Windsor, my wife and I finally checked out its beautiful new home in Healdsburg. To our delight, we found that Chef Krisztian Karkus and his wife Alena (who has now moved out of the back of the house to charm guests as a friendly, attentive hostess/waitress) have made their restaurant's tastefully appointed new incarnation even better than we remembered it. What makes Tisza special is not just the wonderful food, drink and ambience but the sprinkling of rare (in California Wine Country) offerings on its menu, including mouthwatering Central and East European delights -- schnitzels, goulash, spaetzle, potato dumplings, wild mushrooms and, OH YES!, apple strudel -- reflecting the couple's background (he's Hungarian and she's Czech). While we didn't manage to sample everything that tempted us in this first of what will surely be many return visits, we'd be remiss if we didn't single out for high praise the house-smoked salmon with dill mustard sauce, pickled mustard seed and crème fraiche served over potato latkes. We think this fabulous starter might be more aptly named "salmon ambrosia." (If anyone can transform a fish into food for the gods, Krisztian's your guy!) This place makes some really unusual and delicious flavors like coriander raspberry and honey rose cardamom. I also loved the texture of the ice cream; it's light and not overly creamy or sticky.“

I went for brunch this morning, sat on the outdoor patio overlooking the lake with ducks on it and a fountain surrounded by rolling greens as a watched golfers, planes overhead leaving the airport, just super relaxing. Had the Eggs Benedict and give that breakfast a 10 for sure. A great place to eat, relax and step back from everyday stress. My family and I have done lunch and dinner there as well as are always impressed. Definitely a little hidden Sonoma County gem.“

“My friend and I shared a wine tasting which consisted of three small glasses of tasting size. You get to pick the three wines that you want. Not a huge selection., but works. We decided to eat there and I got the crabcakes which were pretty tasty a spicy sauce on top, and there were bell peppers and with the crabcakes. My friend got salmon with the skin was very crispy which he likes but the inside was too rare and he had to ask them to cook it more. It came back, still a bit too rare, and we fed that to the seagulls….The couscous salad that came with it was the best thing of all. I would not run back there but if you’re hungry and in that exact area, it’s a convenient place to grab a bite to eat. They have a couple of different patios outside, and the staff was very friendly. The one remark my friend said was that if they’re going to leave the salmon that raw like they said they usually do, they should ask people how they like it cooked. He loves sushi, but it was too rare for him being that it was salmon. It was a great day to get away from the high heat of Sonoma. We went from the 90s to the 60s wearing a jacket. He had never gone by the school house from Alford Hitchcock The Birds, so we did that on the way out.“

My only regret is that I don't live nearby, so I can't come here 3 times a week. If you told me I could golf at Augusta for the same price, I'd do it, but I'd still love Northwood more.“

“We hosted our son's Rehearsal Dinner at Hop Monk Sebastopol and it was perfect. The food and atmosphere were great, and the staff went above and beyond to help us celebrate the wedding couple. Lindsay was very cooperative about having me drop off decorations and centerpieces which they set up while we were at the rehearsal. I especially appreciated all of the staff recognizing what an important night it was and doing everything in their power to make it special. I would happily host another event there.“

“We love this place! The food is ALWAYS good; the service is always good, and we love that there is always a good band playing and we get to dance! Our first waiter was Ben and oh how we loved him so we always asked for him when we would go in. Sadly, Ben moved out of the area but then we got Danny! Another fantastic server and now we always ask for her! Can't vouch for the other servers but my guess would be that they are all good! Susie is the owner, and she is wonderful! She always mingles with her guests and even gets many of them up dancing! I hope she knows how much her regulars appreciate her! I'm so glad we found this place because we do not live out there. We live in Santa Rosa, and I must say it is always worth the trip out there for a great evening!“

“This place is outstanding! I had the Mexican mocha. It was so creamy and delicious. I’m literally asking myself why I go to SBUX. I had the big breakfast burrito. Was enough for me and my daughter. I love that they grill the burrito. Reminds me of home. (Texas) We had black iced coffee. Very good flavor. Hot chocolate was so good too. My husband had the 2 sunny side up eggs on sourdough. We love coming to Guerneville on the weekends to kayak. And now we have an excellent coffee and breakfast stop! Thank you ladies, for a wonderful experience. Will see you again, real soon.“

Stumptown however… AMAZING pit stop. My wife and I stop here every time we’re in the area. Currently sitting down for our second time in two days as we enjoy a getaway to the river.

Food is on point. I don’t drink but they have excellent NA options (especially for a brewery). AND I know the beer they make is good too because I used to drink it years ago.

Wings are a delight. As someone who grew up not far from Buffalo NY, these are as official as wings can get in California.

Today we had the pork tacos and they were SO GOOD.
