“HI, I have to be honest. I was trying to find a way to contact Flappy Jacks as I have a proposition I think would be perfect for Flappy Jacks I have what is probably a bit of an unusual idea. Or maybe just a good idea. I know it is an unusual way to contact you but there was no email address. So I hope this works. I am from Columbia Missouri and I am visiting my Son, Grand Kids, and family there, just a few blocks to the East of Tustin. I am a musician, part time, and I like to street busk (play music on the streets) for grins. I noticed your nostalgic decor and your Elvis statues and the mural featuring the St Louis Arch, which is in Missouri on the Mississippi, of course, where I am from, and the 1930s, 40s and 50s nostalgia, and I wondered if you ever considered, or entertained the notion of having a little nostalgic live music, every now and then, perhaps even if only just once as an experiment. I just happen to play that old classic blues from that era, mostly, at least in this capacity, as Mr. Fletcher's One Man Blues Band. And I thought we might make a pretty good match up. As I said, at least, as an experiment. You can check me out at Facebook "Keith Fletcher, musician." Though most of that music is from my original music shows, and not my one man blues sets. I noticed you had a nice patio area where I could play outside and it might be a nice treat for your customers to have a bit of entertainment, just for a change of pace. They might really appreciate it since they obviously like your atmosphere. I don't play loud music. Unless folks want that, but I prefer to play soft. Or at least in situations like this. I've been the house band for BBQ joints and restaurants on several occasions. So I am familiar with the proper decorum. Mostly I was just looking for a little music adventure in CA within a walking distance of my Son's house, where I could carry a very tiny amp about the size of a cracker box, and my guitar to a gig. I thought maybe about just doing a street gig but saw your venue and something seemed to click. I hope you think so too. I estimate you are about a mile walking distance from his house and I only need an electrical plug. And probably some cool beverages. Like I said, I'm mostly in it for a small musical adventure, and so will play for tips, though, maybe you can pay me with free cold beverages, especially if it is hot, and maybe a sandwich or meal depending on how long I am there. It all looks delicious to me. If you find you'd like to host me again, and want me back, that might be possible over the week, and I may be back for the Christmas holiday. I might even be able to talk my Son into bringing the kids and family. Could be a total bust, or could be a very nice thing, but nothing ventured, nothing gained. Who knows? If it worked out well enough for both of us, you might even want to do it again sometime, Maybe even offer some kind of fee next time, if there is a next time. Life is an adventure. You / we, might stumble onto something good. If you would like to give it a whirl, what day and time would you think is good to catch a crowd? “I came with my friend for the prefix valentines dinner for a 4:45pm reservation, over all the ambiance was great and the check in staff were nice. I'm not sure if it was the busy evening ahead but sadly we felt extremely rushed throughout the evening. The mains came almost immediately after the appetizers and our server kept grabbing our plates asking if we were finished, almost picking them off the table before we had a chance to say no we weren't. Given the romantic setting, because we were two women we were suspecting maybe this is why we were given a little lackluster service and somewhat of a brush off. The server was very knowledgeable and accommodating despite the rush. The food was fine. We both had the filet, no choice of how it's prepared which I understand but each of our steaks were cooked differently which I thought was odd. The desserts were clearly prepared in advance but the creme brulee we ordered had almost no crusting on top. I think for such a busy event, these things are understandable but because we had such an early reservation before the crowd came in I was caught off guard by feeling rushed.”

If you're craving high-quality sushi without the hype or high costs, Daoni is a must-try.”

We ordered the Kung Pao chicken, house special chow mein, and the shrimp and pork spicy wontons each dish was packed with flavor and made with fresh, crunchy vegetables. Restaurant and bar have outside seating along the tracks but you can sit inside and still see the trains pass by. Some stop as its also a train stop (Orange). Our lunch was great. “My first visit to Nava Thai Cuisine was a delightful experience, guided by the staff's super friendly recommendations. Walking in, I felt welcomed, and the service was quick—my food was ready in just about 10 minutes, which is fantastic for a dine-in or takeout order.
The staff suggested a few favorites, and I settled on the Chicken and Vegetables with a medium spice level, and an order of the Fried Tofu.
The Fried Tofu was definitely a highlight. The portion was generous, and the texture was incredible—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and tasted almost like a savory donut! It was accompanied by two flavorful dipping sauces: a rich garlic dipping sauce and a vibrant spicy sauce, which elevated the dish perfectly.
The Chicken and Vegetables was tasty and the medium spice had a nice kick without being overwhelming. My only minor wish is that the portion size was slightly larger, as I found it to be a little on the small side. However, the freshness of the ingredients and the warm, friendly service more than made up for this small detail.
Overall, Nava Thai Cuisine offers a good experience with fantastic staff and standout dishes like their fried tofu. I would recommend this place, especially if you're looking for fast, friendly service and a great appetizer”

I've seen their business increase. The food is very good and competitively priced. Some comments I read earlier that it was overly priced they must go to Denny's a lot. The weekends get packed. Sometimes 1-2 hour wait for dinner. They have entertainment on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. They also have great Happy Hour specials M-F. I'm just another happy customer that has been coming in for years.”

“We first found Big Al's Pizzeria on IG. All of their pizzas caught our eye because of the unique flavors that they serve. We know that often times when you see something on IG and go experience a place in person it may not be as expected. That was NOT the case with Big Al's Pizzeria. WOW!! Can't even tell you how much they exceeded our expectations when it came to the flavors and textures that they deliver. You can tell that they use High Quality, Fresh Ingredients and take pride in their creations, especially with everything being homemade!! I know a lot of people say that it takes a while to receive their pizza but we can tell you IT IS WORTH THE WAIT AND CALORIES!! The combinations on their pizzas are next level and so fun and unique! The pizza dough has the perfect fluffiness, chewy texture and flavor. The wings WOW! Definitely in our top 5 of favorites! So crispy and flavorful! OOh plus the Brisket Sandwich and the bread they use... ufffff!!! Don't forget about Dessert! Even if you fill up on pizza you better at least take a slice home with you because IT IS WORTH IT!! “Wow, what an amazing chorizo breakfast burrito! This was my first time at LJ's. The quality of the ingredients was seen and smelled before the first bite. Then came the crunch of the tots which triggered a taste and experience of freshness along with a perfect blend of other flavors from the other ingredients all perfectly balanced proportionally. I had a different chorizo burrito this weekend (another 1st time try at a place close to my house) but it had soggy hash browns (so much that I had to surgically remove some) that really overshadowed and ruins the burrito. This burritos was awesome! I also highly recommend trying the sauces. The hot orange sauce was my favorite then the cilantro cream. The chipotle was also rich and creamy. Thank you LJ's for a yummy burrito experience!”

“As almost rveryone who has been to an In and Out knows there are hamburgers an cheese burgers made fresh. Options are no onions, raw or grilled onions, tomatos lettuce sauce and pickles lid some I don't know about. Fries can have melted cheese and sauce and instead of a bun the burger can be serv ed wrapped on a lettuce leaf. Drinks are fountain and unlimited a milk shake or coffee. It is almost always a mob scene which tells you how popular it is.”

“Very good find! The inside was very clean and bright atmosphere with happy music. The food was amazing! Generous portions and I could tell there was thought put into the presentation of the food (ceviche was beautiful!). We ordered a ceviche plate and fish taco. We don't speak Spanish but the cashier was helpful in explaining each dish and naming recommendations. I will definitely come back when I am in the area. Price was reasonable for the amount of food.”

“Fluffy, perfectly charred, nice chew and just the right amount of saltiness. I ordered a Margherita pizza to go and ate it later that evening and it still tasted excellent. This is as close to authentic Italian pizza as it gets. My only gripe is they open at 5pm so it’s difficult to eat there more often. The restaurant is tiny and cozy so reservations are a must if you do go. I can’t wait to come back and try another pizza.”

I ordered the fish and chips basket with chicken strips and a side order of coconut shrimp and couldn't even finish it all because the portions are HUGE!
