“The best Chinese food I've ever had in my now twenty six years of rambling on this rock. The orange chicken was fried to utter perfection with the sauce not being to sweet nor salty. The lack of breeding was wonderful for the crispy nature was from a perfect frying. To great surprise not oily at all. Quy was my server and was a great man to talk to and very kind and insightful as to what to eat and how it was made. Price was nominal for the market rate. The wontons where wonderful semi sweet without the sauce and dessert like with it. Panda Express, eat your heart out.

“One of my favorite places to get naengmyun. Mo Ran Gak is a name that is widely known to have reputable cold noodles.
When you get a meat dish with naengmyun, they give you a small side dish of the spicy one as well. Or vice versa if you got the spicy, you'll get the broth one as a side.
There is a small parking lot here and usually a line even right when they open.
I would advise on coming early or putting aside enough time to wait 1 hour before being seated on a busy day.“

“Great food and service! My husband loves ordering fried calamari everywhere, and this place has his all-time favorite fried calamari! Has great food for both an adult palate and kid’s palate so everyone’s happy. Kid got a banh mi sandwich and ate the whole thing! They made it not spicy. Surprisingly kid friendly. “I ordered this place many many times. One time I also noticed the “suspicious” fried tofu with black dots on them. I was so angry so I called the owner, they explained to me the crispy tofu soaked with 卤汁 sauce will make the tofu looks like it’s not fresh… I didn’t believe him at first then I poked the black dots and they were really small pockets of sauce…. I don’t think they deserve a 3 star!!! It’s actually really yummy and taste fresh… I often crave this place. Also today when I ordered, I noticed they changed their tofu type and added more bok choy. Thanks for improving and maintaining a good quality!“

Its located on Magnolia near La Palma Ave same center as Popeyes.

“Wow, the taste was amazing - both the pho and the cucumber lemonade. The pho was richly and deeply flavored and was satisfying while still being bright and fresh feeling. The service was very prompt, friendly and helpful - the server understood my not liking overly sweet drinks and recommended the cucumber lemonade as refreshing while still having sweetness. It was, indeed, refreshing and sweet - perfectly balanced flavors. The server also wisely suggested we package the noodles and broth of our leftovers seperately. “If you love Hu Tieu like I do, this is a place for you to try out. Their menu was very simple and easy to order. The hu tieu dry style with the broth on the side was so good. Bring me right back to my childhood time in Việt Nam. I recommend to go early to minimize waiting in line and finding parking.“

“Very clean shop! Reminds me of another shop similar to this set up back in NorCal! There’s a few premade or frozen food options to select from but everything here were made fresh. I saw a few Ommas working on some bonchons. Shop is inside a plaza so parking isn’t a hassle. Perfect spot if you’re just grabbing something small to eat but isn’t hungry enough for a full Korean dine in restaurant in surrounding area. No sit down area in the shop cause it’s designed to be like a mini mart“

We tried the Crunchy Egg Rolls, which was made fresh, hot, and crispy!
The Nem Nuong Roll was delicious!
We were lucky to try a free sample of his Wonton as they sold out of it.
The Green Thai Tea was refreshing as well! My kids can't wait to come back to eat everything again!

Next time, I will try the Banh Canh Noodle Soup, I saw someone ordered it and the seafood were all individually packed for freshness!
